This place was just redone. It doesnt look any different on the outside but the inside has become so much better. It has now become a fixed seating theater where you pick out your seat before it starts. This is nice only because the chairs, leg room and walking area is all brand new. No longer is this place airplane seating, every chair has its own arm rests that are big enough to put your arm and the person next to you, arm on. Lovers do not worry, every seat is matched with another seat that has a fold up armrest so you can snuggle someone while in a movie. The seats are fake leather, soft and large. Every seat has plenty of leg room, so no matter how big you are now you can stretch your legs, with that leg room is now for people pass by you without you getting crushed. And the Best part of all, the chairs recline and have large foot rests that are controlled by a black button on the left hand side of the chair. Now you feel better after sitting still after a whole movie instead of feeling like you were in a coffin. I loved going here, and the ticket was only 6 bucks, I was so happy after seeing all this I got a soda from there now automated slushy/Soda machines.

I was reading comments before i even decided to respond but a couple of the negative comments made me give them a review. As for the staff not allowing you to come into the theatre after hours or for them to bring them to you seems like a ridiculous request. They are a business who has security precautions and are not required to fix your mistake of leaving an item in the movie theater. For the complaint about assigned seating: with the abundancy of technology and over 90% of american adult ages (18-50) society having a smart phone there should be no reason you cant order your tickets ahead of time if its such an issue to you. Ive been there so many times i cannot count. The reclining chairs, THE Fact that if u think ahead you can have the perfect seats for you, the new coke machines, the fact you can salt and butter your own popcorn, the patience and helpfulness of the staff make it a night at the movies YOU WILL ALWAYS remember. Ive been to theaters all over new england and this is BY far the best one. Its just to bad people are too hung up on frivolous requests! Five Stars Everytime

Staff is very unprofessional. Left my prescription glasses in a theatre and began driving home and realized they were not with me. I called to state I would be coming back to retrieve them , I was told I could not enter the building because it was after hours so I had asked if someone could bring them to me, I had identification as well, I was placed on hold with a un-answered question. This led me to believe they would not do what I had asked them. Waiting for 10 minutes, at the theatre I was told for security reasons they could not deliver glasses. I was upset that they did not debrief me about the policy in the beginning and instead I was left clueless throughout the process having to probe them for answers. Ive always come to this theatre but their staff needs better training. This has led me to further discover that Tickets are overpriced for sitting areas that are not cleaned well along with the unsanitary conditions of the bathrooms.

Theatre was the first in the area to introduce reclining seats a few years back, was clean, and comfortable BUT has recently really deteriorated to the point I avoid seeing a movie here. Biggest issue is the place is always filthy, bathrooms are always dirty, area around the Coca-Cola Freestyle machines is always grimy and sticky, the self serve condiment stations are always disgusting and look like theyre never cleaned. Does anybody vacuum?!! Worst yet those super comfortable reclining seats are now worn and torn, and many of the theatres have overflowing waste receptacles. Whats more its the most expensive theatre in the area. The nearby Showcase Cinema in Randolph has reclining seats just as nice, is cleaner, and a much better value. As for AMC in Braintree, Ive personally complained about the inconsistent level of general upkeep, but to no satisfaction. Ive given up on this place and would not recommend.

the seats are nice but needs more cleaning to much money for 3d i am okay with it the seats too you have to get tickets early if you want a good seat.I wanted a movie place that you dont have to buy tickets early because too many people go there and you have to see the movie like a week later.the service i never have a problem i dont go that much but i heard people dont like it.I think people want better service such a long line for food.There sould be more people working there.too much waiting for the real movie.They bride you with othere things so you can watch more at that place.but at least there is a ice cream place who with me.I think i will go there for the other movies.Some to bad others i am fine with.still i think they can do better.i see them clean but the next time i see the place it is dirty.

Very chaotic set up when you walk in. Concession is grossly over priced as everything in movies theaters tend to be these days. Concession gives you cups to use at fountain machines, huge lines form at fountain machines which then block people coming into the theater. During our visit 1 of the 3 fountain machines was down, 1 didnt have ice, and the other one didnt have diet sodas. Both slush machines dispensed unfrozen slush juice. The floor was exceptionally filthy, which I contribute mostly to the decline of the human race. Apparently it has become acceptable to dump and drop trash and food where ever in a movie theater. Other than the chaos walking in, high priced concession, and barbaric patrons the seats were very comfortable and the movie experience was great.

This is a great AMC theater! Recliners are awesome, though after a few years it got renovated, some are torn, but I wouldnt worry about that. The staff are sometimes friendly, and are NOT as much rude and unfriendly than in Randolph. The refreshments are great and so are the food options. Coke Freestyle and ICEE machines are also awesome! Bathrooms are sometimes clean, but the Dyson airblades are cool! I can agree that its the most expensive theater in Braintree. Well, I sometimes go there, but Regal in Taunton is my most go-to IMO due to the super friendly staff, sometimes affordable ticket prices, and better recliners. I will still return to this AMC, but probably once on occasion. Will recommend to some.

The movie theatre has gotten significantly better since I was a child. They have really modernized the entire theatre with the newer model soda dispensers. They have fully reclining seats, yet still offer a pretty good vantage point for viewing a movie. It is really a smaller theatre in comparison to some of the others that are a further drive away. The theatre is more of a complimentary theare that allows for someone to have dinner and a movie or come to the movie theatre after going shopping at South Shore Plaza across the street. The theatre is one of many amusements in the area and is a good place to watch a movie.
