AMC Assembly Row 12 is a part of the AMC chain of theaters, known for offering a variety of amenities including reclining seats and a wide range of food and beverage options. It is located in Somerville, Massachusetts, a city known for its vibrant arts scene and diverse community. The theater seems to be a popular choice for movie-goers in the area, but there are areas where it could improve, such as customer service and facility maintenance.

I love watching movies, and I like to explore new movie theaters, this is the reason why I went to a far one with my friends, in Summerville- AMC Assembly row even though we couldve gone to the AMC in downtown, but the service was at the beginning "okay". I said okay because we got there late and we couldnt watch our movie (not their fault-great). We took some passes which would allow us to watch anywhere and whenever we feel like due to the fact that we bought our tickets online. After this we went to get the elevator, after we were all in (8people) the elevator, couple seconds later the elevator stopped and we had to call 911 because they couldnt help us, and plus we waited almost an hour for them to open that elevator (I hope you can image 8 people in the elevator when its really hot out- 70 up degrees). After all these struggles we finally got out and this is the part that really disappointed me because of the manager, (White lady that was wearing glasses and of course wearing her uniform, and there was no name tag) she didnt even apologize for the unconvinience but her face was so serious, it seemed like we were the ones that made that elevator stopped or that it was our fault but not their fault. This was the worse experience I have ever had in an AMC movie theater. I visit AMC movie theater often but after this disappointment things will change. (05/19/2017- by 6:00pm)

I went to see The Revenent last night and enjoyed the experience at this theater! You select your seat, so I arrived with just enough time to grab a popcorn and didnt worry about finding a seat. It was super clean--and there were wide paths to walk to get to your seat so you could actually tell that it was clean. The seats were plush and comfy. The food ordering process was a little confusing for a first timer. Theres real food here (chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, etc), tons of candy options, popcorn, those soda machines where you select your flavor, and booze. You order at one place and pay at another. I think they could make it a little more clear b/c a bunch of people seemed confused about the process. Theres a free parking lot here. Park on the third floor and theres a direct exit to the parking garage from the theater. My only complaint is that the lights stayed on (dim-ish, but on, kind of like they usually are for the previews).

Its cool because its closer, pretty clean for a movie theatre. The food is pricey, truth be told I like Downtown better, They expected me to understand there rewards card booklet that I just read not even a week after it came out and I had never seen it before. They also asked me to read it 5 min before a job interview and fully understand it. They daid theyd contact me and let me know when They make the decision to higher me. I called a week later to ask and the interviewer seemed aggrivated about me asking and they told me that they would get back to me once more. Havent heard back from them since. Is it really hard to say no? Thats mad greasy, they couldnt just say "No you didnt get the job"? Its also like dead, employees dont really interact with customers so I got asked alot of what if question about interacting with customers and I will say that as a job seeker I no longer enjoy it that much, and as a customer I dont enjoy it that much.

Went to see Spider Man in 3D and the surround sound was GREAT! The 3d glasses were a bit blurry and hard to see in. Make sure you get there 45min before your movies start time if you plan on ordering food. They only staff two people behind the counter and they can get pretty overwhelmed and confused when it gets busy. Instead of shouting out the number on the receipt, they scream what you ordered...so pretty much anyone who orders the same thing can easily walk off with your order. I really wanted a hot dog but they claimed they were all out of hot dog. Which should be advertised on their display somewhere so you can avoid waiting in line for 20 minutes only to be told they dont even have half the food items on the menu. I hate that the rows in the theater are so close together -- you have to jump over everyones lap just to get to your middle seat. Showcase cinema in Revere did an awesome job spacing out the rows. I deducted 1

I has some re admission passes and I read all the great reviews of this place so we decided to try it out. Its new which is part of the reason it is a beauty, love the pictures of Hollywoods biggest stars painted on the wall as you elevate yourself up. The first time I went however I wasnt informed of where the reclining seats were so I ended up in a normal seat which wasnt too bad but would have liked to know I had the option of recliners. Next time the girl at the desk told us what I belive the guy should have the first time I went which was the locations of the chairs that recline. Anyways the seats we chose this time were a gem not only did they recline but we also had a little area all to ourselves.... Awesome. Good theater and the fact you can bring your alcoholic beverage in the theater is awesome, something many have wanted for a long time. Overall a good theater, Id like to visit more.

This place is exceptionally good. It is convenient for how long it takes me to get to the place, it is quite big, The staff stands behind their customers in the event that something goes wrong with the theater, like the other day I went in with my family to see The Batman Lego Movie and unfortunately the theater had a power outage and wasnt able to fix it in time for us to see the movie! Although they gave each family tickets to come in another day and watch a movie for free. Very courteous by their part and Im looking forward to going back (its only a 10 min walk from my home to the theater). My only complaint is the cleanliness of the theater! Every time I go to this theater, It is usually never as clean as it should be. I know its a theater and I know that people are walking around with snacks and drinks, but even so the staff should make their best effort to keep the place a little cleaner!

This theaters website gave me an error message whenever I tried to select a seat while ordering my ticket. I tried multiple times, but nothing worked. I then tried calling the theater to see if I could sort out the error message. I was treated to a long robotic message that tried to direct me to the broken website every chance it got until finally I heard "if youd like to speak to somebody in the theater press 0." I did, and I got another robotic message saying that "either everyone is busy or were closed." It then told me I should go to their broken website AGAIN and hung up on me. I guess they dont want me to visit their theater and instead spend all my time looking at their broken website. Thats OK. Ill just pirate the movie and watch it at home instead.
