$11 ticket weekday or weekend. $6 on Tuesdays! This is my favorite movie theater. Although ithe seating is nothing fancy (abilty to move armrest and make loveseat for 2) they are comfortable and the pitch in the theaters are decent so I dont feel so annoyed if someone sits in front of me. There popcorn is the best; they actually give you the popcorn they are poping right then. AMC and a lot of other theaters will pop the corn but save it for hours later--yuck! Give me fresch popcorn! Parking right behind theater, and there is an awesome sushi place right across the street: Sukura. They dont serve alcohol (no liquor license yet) however it is the best sushi Ive had in a while, and I adore sushi! If I can see all my movies there I would. Love it

The Embassy Cinema features movies for true film buffs--and a bit of Hollywood fluff for some enjoyable escapism. Sure, the building layout may not be ideal, but its also not ideal at Coolidge Corner or West Newton Cinemas, two theaters also still offering fine films for thinking minds. There arent many such venues left. And no home movie experience can ever replace what they offer; nor provide the revenue required to allow movies to continue to be made. So, lets sample these Cinemas popcorn & treats, be grateful for their bathrooms (whether upstairs or downstairs), attend their films regularly, and keep them in business! The Embassy is among Walthams greatest assets!!! All-day Tuesday, films are only $6. Go, soon, maybe today!

I love the Embassy because its a smaller theater, and independently owned. I enjoy that they sell ice cream and other fun snacks. They always show movies that I want to see, and frequently things you cant see many other places. That being said, they need to make some changes. Seating is awkward, bathrooms are super duper inconveniently situated upstairs. Parking is confusing...do we have to pay? Wheres the nursing home parking thats going to tow me? I will keep going here, but theres lots of room for improvement.

I love coming to Embassy to see movies with my family in a comfortable and cozy environment. This theater might not be as big as other theaters around, but the cheaper tickets and the friendly staff definitely make it worth the while. Since the location is right off Moody St. in Waltham, you could spend your whole day walking up and down Moody St then head on over to Embassy for a movie. Perfect for those days off and summer vacation!

I enjoy the atmosphere of this type of small local theaters. Though that I read here that the sound quality is poor, I decided to watch "Amy" there. I enjoyed the movie very much and the sound was perfect. I always check the program at Embassy Cinema because they sometimes show the good independent or indie movies that you cant find anywhere else. I especially love the 6$ tickets on Tuesdays.

Not worth the cost.. I feel $14 is definitely not worth wasting on this theater.. Considering the pathetic seating and other facilities they shouldnt even be charging $8 for this.. Should go to this theater only of there is no other option left. Very small screen and poor sound quality as well.. A home theatre system with a comfy couch is a much better option.

Ive always liked the Embassy. It has kind of a hip, funky feeling to it. For a while it seemed that it wasnt carrying many films that were (IMO) worth watching...but their offerings have gotten much better in recent months. The upstairs bathrooms are a bit inconvenient if you have to use them during a film. On the other hand theyre immaculately clean.

Nice Vintage Theater. Bathrooms are upstairs but who cares I am there to see a movie. Convenient, easy parking, screen size is OK and the Popcorn is better than AMC. Theater can be extremely crowded depending on the movies playing and other times there are plenty of seats and smaller crowds.

The popcorn is the absolute best! Quaint little theater. Always my first choice for movie going. Maybe someday they will upgrade to the plush recliner seating that a lot of other theaters are getting but if not, oh well. The popcorn makes up for it! Love this theater!

I used to live down the street from this place and I really liked it. it had a low-key feel to it. It was clean, sound was good, picture was good, and the staff is nice and knowledgeable about film Also, its nice to walk around Moody street post movie watching.

Feels like home ... the staff is the friendliest, theater and bathrooms are always clean. The seating is not on the plush end of the spectrum but I have never had a bad seating position and I never have to get there half an hour early just to get a seat.

Seats do not recline, padding is unforgiving. Screen is small and sound quality was lacking. Dont come here, I am still trapped in this hell in my dreams. Also, nor sure why the theater is colored beige, like a cheap porno.

Great old school feel with new movies. Parking easy but pricey. I wish the bathrooms were closer to the actual theaters as well. Overall I go here all the time and its a simple in and out theatre with no frills.

Its a tiny BIG local cinema for all of my last minute movie arrangements. No 3D, no huge screens but its nice and cozy. Sounds and video are godd and this is all I care. And popcorn is sooooo buttery :)

This place is generally okay (movie selection-wise) but they could use a renovation. Not the best place to go if you want to see a movie the best possible way, just fine if you are a casual moviegoer.

This is a lovely theatre with a retro but stylish scene. No long noisy lines or crowds to contend with. Welcoming staff. No blasting volume or freezing AC, just comfortable and clean accomodations.

Convenient location, with (in the evening) free parking in the lot just behind it. The screens arent huge and the seating isnt the latest, but its a good place with reasonable pricing.

Other than Friday and Saturday nights, you can watch a movie alone or with a few people in the theater. Good popcorn. Movie tickets are cheaper compared to the theaters inside Boston.

Convenient small theater in heart of Waltham. Gets pretty good movie selection. Easy since its not too big. The parking lot was a bit hard to find access to but otherwise no issues.

Its an older theater, so it doesnt have stadium seating or the biggest screens. It does have good snacks and great popcorn. And it is always clean and the staff is very friendly.

I like this theatre because it is inexpensive and easy enough to park. The theatres/screens are a little on the small side, but its usually not super crowded, which is nice.

When you bored and just want to watch a movie this cinema is the best! I mean yes its small and all but it really is cheap and its on Moddy st so it means close to food!

One of the only theaters in the area, this cinema tends to have a mix of studio and independent films but lacks the amenities and comfort of newer, bigger cinemas.
