I have for years now been a frequent movie goer at Regal Cinemas Columbiaba Grand. The theater is always clean, staff ar friendly and accommodating.and I enjoy earning freebies with my regal award card. The other Regals are not up to te same excellent standards of the Columbiana Grand. Also the food/snacks are always fresh and hot. My only complaint is that they do not have Imax. Ijust watch the movies in 3d because I found the Regal Sandhill theatre to be substandard. The lines are extremely long, and the snacks/food are fair. Please work at aquiring a Imax theater for those of us who live on rhe Irmo/ Chapin area, as well as Lexington.

UH UH NOPE ion like this. They doing the most im a middle teen and am not allowed to watch a rated R movie with out my parent or a guardian in there with me.Me and a group of friend were trying to plan a hang out day to watch the movie IT and we couldnt go in without a guardian.Even the fact that our parent approve of us going in. Plus we couldnt find another movie theater to go to so we wasnt able to watch the movie. I hate this new rule. And i dont like how we have to choose our seat outside because if i was meeting somebody i have to just wait for them to get there to choose with them.

I usually love going to this theater. Its one of the nicest ones in Columbia and its always been my go to, but lately Ive noticed that they dont have a lot of the new releases, their selection is basically a couple of new movies and the rest are movies that have been out for a while. I am a student, so I always appreciate their student discount during the week and I always love using my regal card for the perks but a lot of the times I have to end up going to another theater because they do not have the new releases.

I normally go to Columbiana Grande bc it is typically the cleanest theater around....UNTIL TONIGHT!! Took my girls to see Sing at 7:05 and as we walked through the doors of the theater, the smell was TERRIBLE! It had not been cleaned at all since the last show as trash was ALL OVER the floors and an orange cone was left (laying on its side) in the middle of the stairway for people to trip over when lights went out! Normally a great experience but tonight was definately NOT!!!

Surprisingly subpar service last night. As usual, it was really crowded, and they appeared to be well-staffed, but neither the ticket seller nor the concession attendant seemed to want to be there, and acted as though it was a hassle serving me. And the auditoriums surrounding mine were blaring! I could here more of those movies than my own. And the theater was really cold. I reported it twice, but it never seemed to warm up. Hopefully this was just an off day.

Ive been going to this theatre for years. Every time I go, I can always expect a great quality movie and GIANT concessions. I highly reccomend being a part of their rewards program, too. Also, just a tip, lots of cute boys work here. Theres one guy that gave my friend and I our large Coke Zero and large popcorn. He was maybe 54", blonde, and really cute. I didnt see his nametag though. Ladies: when you see a cute boy at this theatre, dont lose him.

This can be a nice place to see a movie. It can be kind of warm in the theater if visiting during the midday summer heat, which is disappointing considering that I expect to be in air conditioned comfort during a theater visit. What is more, the seats are a bit dingy, which may become a considerable issue when wearing nice clothes, especially during times in which the theater is warm enough to cause someone to break a sweat.

Ticket buying is fast, theater screens are a bit smaller compared to the local AMC theater, but Sony 4K is always going to be better than your home theater. Some seats have been very squeaky, and some seem out-dated. If you are looking for the latest flick in Columbia, however, this should be your first stop--close to everything else on Harbison and surrounded by countless eateries, the location for this theater is genius.

Ive lived in Columbia for about 1 year now. This Cinema is by far the best in the metropolitan area. It not the best ive ever been too with living all over this country. However if they have more late morning matinee showings and a Imax experince this review will be at 5 stars. But pretey clean theater and not rundown

This is a fantastic theater and one that I prefer to see all of my movies at. Great options at the snack bar and the Stadium Seating is comfortable and excellent. The movies offered here are always current and the sound quality and picture quality are top notch. It is always a pleasure to see a move here.

I have been in my share of crappy theaters and this IS NOT one of them. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the theater. The seats were very comfortable (they lean back) and the arm rests could be pushed up and out of the way so as to make it easier to get next to your special someone.

Pretty much the best place to see a movie in the area. Decently comfortable seats, the pricing is no worse than any other theater, lots of 3D and standard options for films, and they occasionally give the little films a chance too. Plus theres a LOT of great shopping and places to eat around here.

Place is nice and normal as every other theater but this is the third time Ive come where I cant enjoy the movie because it is so beyond loud! I spend half the movie with my hands over my ears! Movies are supposed to be loud but holy guac! This is ridiculous..Will not be returning.

Good theater over all. The price for a large bucket of popcorn and a medium soda $14... Yeah! The seating wasnt as comfortable as I had hoped, but it was okay. The speakers were good and loud, yet not overwhelming. The concessions were WAY overpriced!

This is one of the best places to see a movie in the area. They participate in events handing out things for movies, have a pretty good rewards program and customer service. The interior here is nice and the prices are comparable to other places.

No showings of Wonder Woman or Rough Night? Seems like this theater doesnt approve of female leads or filmmakers....Used to be my go-to theater around Columbia but not so sure anymore. Really disappointed these two films wont be played there.

I love Regal Cinemas Columbia Grande 14 because of the rewards system and its nice and roomy. I would also recommend this place is you live in Columbia or Irmo, or if you are just visiting because there is a lot of restaurants nearby.

Clean facilities, environmental temperature comfortable, rather speedy service. Staff generally friendly, helpful. Would have given 5 stars except they could really improve in seating for the handicapped.with more ramps, hand rails.
