Music Street USA - Rockn Roll meets Blues” Während unseres Aufenthalt in der Beale Street war es mit -2 Grad (Anfang März), doch recht kalt, was jedoch nicht unsere Stimmung und Laune in Frage stellte, da wir wussten, dass wir uns auf einer der legendärsten Strassen befanden. Ich kenne die Beale Street von früheren Memphis Besuchen mit angenehmen, warmen Wetter, wo an jeder Ecke Musik vom Feinsten dargeboten wurde. Blues und Rockn Roll in seiner schönsten Form. Können wir nur empfehlen.

“Bonne animation !” Rue très animée dès la fin daprès-midi, dailleurs la route est barrée par la police pour plus le plus grand confort des piétons. Musiques, animations de rue, lumières...parfait pour une soirée bien sympathique. Cependant, rue à éviter en fin de soirée avec de jeunes enfants, quelques « personnages » éméchés. Attention : prix du parking à lentrée de la rue excessif, éloignez vous du côté de Riverside Dr.

Fantastic! Super touristy.....but hey you kinda know that going in! Its fun to visit.....plan on paying a premium anywhere down here....either cover charges sorry for food and drink.....there are some sweet spots together a cheap brew and a bite....but you have to look for it. Also off days during the week most everything is still open but typically no cover charges and better specials to drive business during the slow times. Cheers!!!

Gute Musik (Life-Bands) und erschwingliche Preise für Getränke und Speisen. So sollte man in den meisten Bars gezapftes Bier im großen (large) Becher bestellen, dann spart man einiges.

Beale Street is an iconic street that is said to have "birthed the blues". During the day Beale Street is a lively mix of museums, galleries, restaurants, and shopping. At night the focus is on the music. There are many clubs and restaurants that focus on both live and DJ based music. The restaurants stay open late serving good bbq and other Memphis based dishes.

Very cool, fun place to walk around . You can see all kinds of people, performers, food, and drinks. My only complaint is that there are alot of overpriced souvenir shops. I wish there would be somewhere better to pick up some unique knick knacks that are more reasonably priced. I guess thats what you have to expect at any tourist attraction.

fun place to be if you are in town to party. Theres tons of cop, when I say tons, its every 5 seconds and its fun watching some of them flirts with the ladies. Theres plenty of choice for live music, food and drinks, dont forgot to stop by at the Withers Collection Museum & Gallery for a great collection of photos & civil rights history.

I had the time of my life here. Young and old vibrant crowd. Large police presence. Great people having fun. There was something for everyone. Young and old. Black and white and all between. Good drink. Great food. Hip hop. Rock. Soul music. Great music everywhere. Lovely ladies. You have to go to see the ladies if nothing else.

One of the highlights of Memphis of which there are few. A dizzying array of neon, restaurants, pubs, and venues dedicated to the blues and the birth of rock-n-roll. If you are a fan of music, you have to go. If you are in Memphis, you have to go. Just go already! Check out the revamped Main St area too while you are there.

A cute, historical street with a plethora of restaurants with live music during dinner, bars and tourist shops. I imagine that the night life is wild. The people here are kind and the atmosphere, at least when we visited, was carefree. Parking costs a bit of money, as expected in any downtown setting... so be ready for that.

There is so much to do and see. There is always something going on on Beale Street or near Beale Street. Police presence is heavy and I like that. I feel safe when I am walking on Beale Street. Many fabulous restaurants on Beale and the surrounding area. There is family fun time during the day and adult fun in the evening.

Aqui estan reunidos los locsles de marcha de la ciudad. Básicamente pubs y bares, asi como restaurantes. En fin de semana suele estar bastante concurrido.

It was great to visit Memphis Beale Street I love the live music there. There were also a lot of great people very friendly. I really enjoyed the live music with free covers in a lot of places since I was mostly there to check out the street. I definitely need to return to Beale st when I go to Memphis again.

Always alive and busy, Beale Street closes down to only pedestrian traffic at night. Open containers are allowed and music is everywhere. The police have a presence, but it doesnt stop the fun. Beale Street is a great place to go at night and have a good time.

They said...you have to see beale street in Memphis. So we went to see what the fuss is all about and it was such a disappointment. This place is great according to Memphis standards, otherwise its dirty, dangerous, with trashy people. avoid at all cost.

Loved it!! Amazing displays on the weekends. Bring money youll want to to the performers and possibly buy some of their works. And of course lots of gift shops and restaurants on the strip. Worth the trip you wont regret it. Lots to do and lots to watch.

We went to Memphis trying to follow in the foot steps of Marc cohns walking in Memphis song. I didnt know what to expect of Beale St. Man what a joy this is was. The people, the sounds, the protesting Christians, I loved every minute of it.

The atmosphere here is truly amazing. Such a change from anything Ive experienced before (Im from Southern Oregon). Live music and amazing food at reasonable prices. Beer selection was decent but Im biased coming from a major micro brew area.

Historic Beale Street, with many sights to see and visit, including B.B.Kings restaurant and club. Great food and entertainment. Plenty of shopping opportunities. Fun for the entire family. Near Elvis Graceland attraction.

Its fun to go but at night on Saturdays the security is horrible and will make you pay double for going to Blues City Cafe which they say thats "leaving Beale Street" but the restaurant is located on Beale street.

Very fun to walk around in, especially at night, when everything is lit up. It can get very touristic, so, beware of expensive souvenirs! The food there is great and we very much enjoyed just walking around.
