We went as a family event ages 20-60 to the St Paul location. We did Spies vs Spies and I highly recommend it. The winning team is the one that finishes first obviously, but what I really liked is that the other team can continue on to finish within the hour. Being first is nice but its a very satisfying feeling just to complete the room. The puzzles were very well done and challenging. The host was excellent and gave clues at appropriate times only when absolutely needed. The location in St Paul is in a nice area with plenty of street parking and a nice facility in a house remodeled to accommodate the puzzle rooms. If you like solving puzzles types of things and want to do something fun with family or friends, I highly recommend it. Everyone in our party loved it and we are looking forward to going again to one of their other rooms.

Highly Recommend! If you can try to match your group size to the size of the room. That way you are not in the room with strangers. I have done all 3 rooms at the Minneapolis location. Each room has fantastic puzzles that keep you heavily engaged the entire time. What is nice is that many times you can break of into smaller groups to work on clues. When you first enter a room you get some type of "intro" into the room and it usually includes a clue on where to start. If you are struggling at some point they will send in a clue. There is no guide in the room but there are cameras so they can watch your progress. I havent tried other companies that offer this but have read reviews and the other places do not seem as "put together" as the Trapped Puzzle Room.

Wonderful! I did the library room- Engaging, fun, and challenging but never frustrating or scary. The two things I was struck by: First, the library was so beautiful and richly decorated. All the details were so thoughtful and perfect that I felt like I was in the world of mystery movie! Second, the actual experience of solving the puzzles promoted teamwork in an unexpected way: there was no way you can scale the room alone. You have to be open to everyones ideas and work together to solve the mystery. I did it with a group of friends, but Ill bet this would be great as a team-building for offices or sports clubs. Overall, a great time for everyone that came. Definitely the best in the twin cities that Ive been to. Cant recommend highly enough.

Did the Library with a group of friends and had a great time! The staff was marvelous; they let us push back our arrival time when we were running late, and the host was friendly when we arrived and enthusiastic for our success when we finished the puzzle. $24 a head for a 40-minute experience is a little steep, so I wont be coming back as soon as I would like to. The focus is more on word/number puzzles, not so much on finding hidden physical clues; it would be neat to see them incorporate more of those (although the mechanics are pretty nifty). Very enjoyable overall.

Awesome escape room, very different from the rooms Ive done in the past. We did the library and passed with 8 minutes to spare. Ive done about a dozen rooms around the world and this one falls around the lower middle. Compared to other rooms theres less searching, you dont have to look in nook and crannys for clues its more figuring out the puzzle in front of you and connecting it all. I dont think I prefer that but it was enjoyable. The theme was very strong and I would say some of the puzzles are pretty tricky. I would still go back to try the other rooms.

Our first time in a puzzle room, we went for our 15-yr olds birthday. We had three teens and two adults and had lots of fun at the Apartment in Uptown with the 5 of us. The teens were ready to go right back in for another room! What we liked the most about it was how different an experience it was; this isnt sitting back at a movie or going to a trampoline park, but its both mentally and (mildly) physically active. Just enough of a challenge, but not un-doable. Thanks, Trapped, for an intro to puzzle rooms! Now were hooked!

Hey guys, Allowing 10 people in your puzzle room is just too many people in my opinion! Our group had many puzzle guests standing around wondering where they fit in. We were put with another group... in reality who wants to deal with someone weve never met? We wanted the entire experience for our group and without strangers. Ill never come back unless we have the entire 10 people room booking. Just some honest feedback. Also, your greeting area looks like s $*t. make it nice if you plan to charge a premium in the future;)

Six of us for six max room, we had a great time, needed 12 hints which they provide when they see you are truly stumped. Experience was funny, and really made us think to understand clues. Talking over the event afterwards at dinner we had to think now why did we have to do that?? oh to get to this... Or why did that happen/found an item or clue/-ohhh we did this. Part of a birthday for a couple of kids in 60s and then three youngins in early 20s good mix.

This is a fun activity and is well managed by fun people. The only word of caution I would provide is that if your group is smaller than the max for a room they will pair you with strangers. We got paired with 3 gals and a guy and they were very overbearing and did not share the experience well. This made parts of the time we had very frustrating and nearly ruined it for us. We will be back but only if we can fill the room with people we know.

My sister asked if i would be interested in trying something like this, so on a whim my wife and I decided to give it a shot. It was an absolute blast! The whole group loved it and were hoping to plan another trip to try the second room, and probably the third once its complete. Ive been telling everyone I work with to check it out! You will not be disappointed! EDIT 4/11/2016: Just finished the final room. Each room was great!!

Ive done an escape room before but Ive never done a *competitive* escape room before! The Spies vs Spies rooms were the perfect challenge to pit my college students against one another and get them to work together in a fun new way. We visited the Trapped Puzzle Rooms as part of a day tour in the cities, and Id like to think we came out tighter as a group in part to our experience here. Thank you for such an awesome time!

6 of us did the Workshop and had lots of fun. Some puzzles were very challenging, and some were not so difficult. Some were time consuming, others not so much. We did get stuck at 1 point, but a much-needed hint was sent to us and helped us out. All 6 of us were constantly doing something throughout the entire time, and everyone had a great time! I highly recommend. We plan on returning to do another room.
