Tonight was our first night at Route One Cinema Pub and our first time at anything like it. It was such a great experience. Ticket prices are great, the place was clean, and the food was good! Our cell phones got us a bit lost, we had put the address in and it took us a few miles out. Putting the in the name of it though got us there on time. Parking was not an issue. The cinema is tucked in the back but not hard to find when your looking for it. When you enter there is a desk and some nice girls checked us in. Oddly there are no tickets like you get at other places. There are two screens and all those for the showing we saw where asked to wait just a moment. There was only two chairs to sit in and this left about 20 of us standing to what was really just a few minutes. When we entered there where tables and not the normal movie seating. Tables with 4 seats where in the middle and two seat tables on the sides. A sign in the lobby asked all those in a party of two to please pick a small table else they might be seated with others. My husband and I went right for a side table for two at a mid distance from the screen. Seated for just a moment a waitress dropped off a special menu with the specials to go along with the normal menu they had on the tables already. She cam back quickly for our drink order and we ordered everything right then. The theater was 3/4th full leaving just a few empty tables up front. I thought it must be hard to eat in the dark or maybe it would be hard to hear over people eating. Neither was true. Lights where low enough to see both the table and the screen and the theater was very quiet. The staff was happy and helpful and a joy. You can have alcohol if you choose but my husband and I choose sodas. My husband specially loved his burger, it was huge! For sure this is a place we will come back to again when we travel up this way!

Have very much enjoyed my movie experiences here, especially when I came as part of "Girls Day" for my youngest daughters school. I cant eat from their menu but I only expect to eat candy at a movie theater anyway. Seats are comfortable and its easy to see the screen. No bike rack and would be tricky to get here by bike due to the road. Plenty of parking. A bit tricky to find the first time you come. After that you know exactly where to go. Tickets are less expensive than mainstream theaters because they play the movies after the main theaters. Only one or two movie choices at a time.

Its a fun place to watch a movie and have pub food a pitcher of beer for cheap, and not spend an arm and a leg. Its homey, comfortable, and a different way to watch movies- you sit at tables with comfortable leather rolling chairs. The food isnt out of this world, but what do you expect? Its pub food. Service is good, so no complaints there. Ive been a few times and have never had an issue. If you can wait a month after a movie releases in the big theaters, and youre looking for a casual night out for cheap, then this is the place to go.

We came, and payed $7 to see chappie. For some reason they could not get the projector to work. Needless to say my friends and I were upset. They comped our meals (which were none to good, kinda like gas station food). I felt gross afterwards because of how greasy the food was. They also gave us free movie passes to compensate for the tickets, but we never plan on returning, and therefore still feel kinda jipped regardless of the free food. Would not return.

Honestly, the food is terrible. Everything is over cooked. Eating the fried food is like biting into a brick. If they improved the food, then it would be worth it to come here more often. Just getting snacks is no different than going to the regular movie theater. Sometimes we come here just to see a movie thats already be dropped by the theaters so it would be nice to be able to eat a meal as well. Unfortunately the food just isnt up to par.

Called about ingredients because of a food allergy, man was super rude on the phone, could not have cared less. The only thing that was 100% okay was the fries. Kitchen took forever to come out with our other food orders. Waitress was amazing but management needs an upgrade. Probably wont come back again.

Wanted to see Rowlings Fantastic Beasts. Noticed it was playing last weekend so we went to Cinema Pub. Only $7 for the movie and they had a pretty good selection on the specials menu. Got a steak and cheese panini with peppers and horseradish sauce with curly fries. Enjoyed both the movie and the food.

Its always nice to sit, eat, drink, watch a movie and not have to clean up! Dont expect a 5 star menu. Its pub grub with soda, beer and wine. My husband and I love the fried chicken finger basket, one of us gets it every time. If you want an inexpensive night out, this is the place.

This place is awesome. I have no idea what these other people are talking about. Are you looking for a 5 star restaurant..wtf its a pub, where you watch a movie, seriously folks. I recommend this place. Its a different way to watch a movie and have fun.

This a pretty cool place. I didnt know what to expect and it was great. The atmosphere was laid back and surprisingly quiet during the movie. The food was okay. You know pub food, but hit the spot. I would and will go again!

Cheap current movies. Very friendly staff. Clean establishment. Chairs are OK. Decent food selection, but its easy to spend a lot on food. Guess they have to make money somehow. We plan to go back again at some point.

Ive been going there for years. Its homey, inexpensive and convenient. The food is adequate but what do you want ? I can get Calamari rings for the same price as a large popcorn at Showcase Cinemas.

This place is an absolute gem. The food was delicious and big portions. Got burger and fried clam strips. Great deal on Wednesdays. This business needs to be everywhere it is my new favorite theater.

Decent food. Excellent picture and sound quality. You have to get past the look of the exterior and the lobby is recovering from water damage. I will definitely return again.

Great ticket prices and comfortable seats. I think the theaters smell like urine, though. The carpets need a good shampooing and the whole building a good airing out.
