Not that it matters anymore because the theater is closed but I still wanted to come here and address some of our customers. First of all, I thank you for your support to our establishment. That being said I was the sole owner of the business. My name is Siva Gunasegaram and I am 21 years old, I took over the business when I was 20. I did this individually without any help or financial backing. When I took over the business I inherited a plethora of problems that I was not made aware of before purchasing the business. Problems with the Fire Department, with the Air conditioning, countless violations. I was being continuously harassed by the fire department and town to fix problems that existed for over 10 YEARS before I took over the theater. There is more that meets the eye with a business and I wanted to write this here so our customers understand what we were trying to do. My ticket pricing was $7 and $5 matinee. In this day and age we were charging ticket prices of almost half our competitors and were still expected to deliver the same service if not better. We genuinely tried our hardest to provide the best we could to our customers with what we had and I apologize personally for not delivering. The landlord was keen on evicting us because we defaulted on our contract to buy the real estate, which in all fairness I did, but if they had been just a little more understanding and cooperative things could have worked out differently for everyone. I walked out of there without making a single penny of profit and putting it all back in the theater because I strove to do something for the Town and for our loyal customers. While I ran the theater I did various free showings and didnt take a single penny to give back and show my appreciation for my customers. I apologize for dropping the ball towards my last few months there with many things because I was fighting bigger battles to keep the place open. It genuinely was a one man show and I tried my hardest with the help of my employees. Employees who were still dedicated and worked their hardest despite getting paid because they cared about the establishment. Again I apologize for letting down my customers, I genuinely tried my hardest and did the best I could. I am sorry. Thank you for your support to the establishment and to me.

The ticket prices at Union Theaters are a steal when compared to the much more popular Jersey Gardens Theater. When I last visited, tickets cost $8.50/pp, which is a steal compared to the $12.50 at the mall. Their selection I cant really say much aside from the fact that they were airing the movie that I wanted to see, so thats a plus. Also, worth noting is that the seats that they have in the theater are monstrous and comfortable! Wide, cushioned, and soft to the touch! The theater could use some renovations, as the interior of the hallways are a bit lacking, but Im sure thatll improve once more business goes their way. Unfortunately, I cant say much about the concession stand nor its prices since I didnt buy any food--Ill update it next time I go. Give this place some love, because it definitely deserves some!

The place is cheap but so run down I dont think paying less is worth it. In fact, I think the price should be even lower for this quality of a theater. It looks super dirty and when you get inside the theater its small as youd expect but some of the seats are broken so make sure before you sit down. We got there as the trailers were beginning and it was pretty much pitch black so we needed our phone lights to see. The trailers had some sort of audio problem which I went to the front to ask about and the guy said thats normal and the movie would be fine (it was). But then as the movie started I did notice the exit sign was so close to the screen that it made a small portion of it have a red light casted on it. The audio was a little low as well but wasnt too bad. All in all I wouldnt come back here

I thought this would be a good idea since it was so close to my house. This theater is dusty and dingy, the seats are broken and the snacks are stale. The movie screens are damaged and old. The restroom was filthy, toilets were covered with soiled toilet paper. There was urine and feces in the stalls. The customer service was HORRIBLE. The manager offered a movie pass after an employee stole cash from my wallet which fell from my jacket pocket. This place doesnt deserve anyones money. First and LAST time here.

Movie theater is renovated but thought they would do a better job renovating it. Couldn’t wait till they reopen the theater because i really like to support small local businesses especially movie theaters. Ticket prices are cheap and its a real pleasure to watch movies there with my family. Food prices are fair and whoever complains about being expensive haven’t been in AMC where you will easy spend at least 50$ for popcorn and drinks for 2 people. Highly recommend this theater.

Its been renovated . I like it ,I even understand the concession prices What I dont understand are the headrest on the seats. Horrible uncomfortable. They dont fit the natural curvature of my neck . It took awhile for my neck pain to go away. I cant go back with those seats. Am finding out am not alone. Hopefully this will be resolved. I like going there and eating or shopping around Union. Waiting to give them the five stars.

The theatres are very small and the seats are disgusting. The service was Atrocious, the website said a movie was rated PG-13 but when we went to the theatre the cashier said that it was considered R in there theatre, so basically i wasted 30 minutes of my life driving to see a movie that i wasnt even R. This theatre makes me feel uneasy, I feel like I could catch a disease from sitting in the seats. All around terrible experience.

Under the old management this theater was a great spot for my friends and I during high school. Now under the new management it ruined why so many students and people went there. They jacked up the prices of the tickets and food and arent reinvesting it in the theater at all. The screens are stained and dirty, sound doesnt work well, and floors are always sticky. AMC is well worth the extra $1.50

You get what you pay for. Super cheap tickets gets you super low quality entertainment. The movie I went to see was exceptionally dark, the audio was all over the place. Loud music, low dialogue. Again, it was cheap so I cant be too mad, but I prefer to pay the standard 2-3x price at other theaters and actually be able to enjoy the 2 hours I will be spending at the theaters.

I usually come for the matinee, which is $5. After a certain time its $7 but thats still an excellent price compared to other movie theaters in the area. I have nothing negative to say about this theatre, its cheap, has good customer service, the food isnt as expensive as other movie theaters, and its never crowded. A great place to catch a movie with a group of friends.
