The main reason I have given this place 4, not 5 stars is due to the fact that they have now created stadium seating that has caused difficulties keeping large parties together. Any groups larger than 3-4 people should plan on sitting in multiple locations throughout the theater. Otherwise, it has been remodeled, looks very nice, staff are friendly, and the seats seem clean -they recline as well, which is nice; to relax and enjoy the movie. Its spacing isnt to close between rows, so if a quick exit is needed, there is no problem. Goods here are expensive, $7.50 large popcorns (with one free refill,) $4.50 drinks and overpriced candy bars - I recommend sneaking in some drinks and snacks. Not to mention tickets are getting quite expensive. This theatre is a surviver, having been around some 30+ years, I believe going here is worth the experience. They continue to deliver the movie theater experience in the modern day society.

Theyre Leather Reclining seats - accommodate large and small people - but all of these theaters with leather seats need to find a solution for how hot their black leather seats get long before the movie is in the second act. Their projectors and screens are in great shape - the speakers are just fine - not exceptional - but not at all bad either. All concessions are overpriced - as expected - the popcorn is tasty, the butter-substitute is marginal at best. They really need real butter or something much closer - especially charging the prices they do! As with most movie theaters these days, you can arrive 20 minutes late and not miss a single moment of the film. There are too many commercials, and too many spoilers - some people call them "trailers". I personally think that all movie theaters - should have a lighted sign outside each theater , saying "Trailers are over, you may take your seat now."

Today I decided to treat my 79 year young pops to a matinee movie and I just have to let management know that the two young men that were there this morning portrayed excellent above the call of duty customer service. they stopped from their busy schedule to assist my pops by helping him carry the large popcorn. You see they didnt know this because I never told them but my pops has arthritis in his hands and it makes it difficult for him to hold too many things. I want courteous Matthew and his assistant (I cant recall his name, maybe Oscar or Ceasar?) to receive recognition for their outstanding customer service. Because of this, we will always go to this theater and I will highly recommend it to others. Thank you Matthew and assistance!

Although this theater has been around a long time, it was completely refurbished a couple years ago. Every screen now has large reclining, leather (probably vinyl) chairs that are very comfortable. Lots of room between rows makes it easy to get around even in the dark. New digital projection and sound systems make it a nice place to see a movie. Prices are slightly cheaper than AMC on average. Though like all movie theaters, their concession prices for food, drinks, popcorn, candy, etc. are very high. Edit: With the Premiere Lux Cinema (formerly UA Grand Prairie 10) now open on the east side of Carrier Parkway, my rating now is 3½ stars, and Id recommend them over the Cinemark.

Im not sure what Spencer was thinking... it sounds like the owner paid someone to write that. Give me a break. The place is okay. Nothing special. Its an older theatre that is not that clean, not that dirty. The staff is average. Not rude, but certainly not anything special. A very good place for a matinee, but if I was going on a date, I would choose a nicer place. BTW, I live about 3 minutes from this theatre and it hasnt changed a bit in the last 8 years. Always has been and always will be a 3 star.

This is my favorite movie theater!! I have back issues, and they have the power recliners. The seats are amazing! They always have what I want to see, also. It isnt a huge theater, but it has 16 movies playing. The employees are generally friendly, and you can reserve your seats before you get there, if you dont mind paying Fandango a few bucks. Its worth it if the theater is going to be full, because you can pick your seats in advance. I hate having to sit crazy close because its all thats left.

If I could give the no stars I would we went to watch a movie. We got our tickets they charged us for our 2 year old. We get drinks etc go to the line for the movie and the guy say NO KIDS after 6 for R rated movie we would have been fine with that had the lady at the ticket booth told us that so we didnt waste time buying all the drinks and stuff. So he tells us go get a refund. We got our money back and the guy at the ticket booth didnt even apologize. They need to re train workers.

I really enjoy the seating in this theater. It is a powered recliner and is very comfortable the seating is all assigned. The one tip I offer you is to go in even numbered groups. I went with a group of three once and it is slightly unnerving to share a recliner with a stranger. Some of the theaters have single recliners on the ends of rows so get your tickets in advance. The concessions are good if too expensive as with all movie theaters and the employees are friendly.

We had a mix up & were at the wrong theater and missed our movie. Worried we lost out on not only seeing the movie, but our money, we called Cinemark in GP. They have wonderful CS & employees bc of their care. We were able to see the movie we paid for. (Fandango was not helpful nor considerate about the mishap.) I will be a returning customer. Quality service and a decent theater arent easy to find.

KEEP AN EYE OUT. You cant really see it unless youve GPS it or know where its at. I feel like everyone goes for the seats haha The seats are amazing though. Probably would be a good idea to order tickets beforehand since the movie rooms are not that big. All the seats are ground level so theres no need for climbing up a bunch of stairs. I love this place. Go here for all my movies.

Luxury Lounge makes a difference. Seats are comfortable.. However.. Only one concession stand.. Which makes for extended waiting times for snacks.. Parking lot seems smaller.. But there are nearby adjacent lots that are a short walk away. Overall.. A good experience.. Plus... Seating is more spacious and allows for easier entry and exits of the aisles during the movie..

I have always felt this theater needed an upgrade; they have added more advertising when they should have added stadium seating. With that said, the employees make a difference in my experiences every time I go. I feel like they genuinely care. The corn is fresh and the soda cold. When I had a complaint about the food, the employee fixed the problem with out a question.

The chairs are so comfy! You get a free refill on the large popcorn and on the large drink and they provide disposable trays that we hand the kids so they can have their own portion of the popcorn. Since you choose your seats on the screen when you buy the tickets you can see exactly how full the show is and if theres enough seats together for your group. No surprises! ")
