Located just off of I-80. Easy access and built in 1989. This water park as a variety of rides for both the very young and the old, fast food, snacks, treats, drinks, etc. You can purchase a season pass with or without meal tickets, tubes and a season locker. So many choices. Season passes can save you a ton of money. My family has purchased water passes in the past and we currently have pass holders. Season Pass holders can get early entrance at the VIP gate from 10:45 am to 11:15 am. Plus with your season pass you get two discounted general admission coupons per pass ($13.50 value per coupon). Some of my families favorites are the Lazy River, Wave Pool, Fire and Ice and Black Widow. The new slide G Force is my sons favorite right now. There is also and Adult only oasis called Kokomos Island Bar and Spa where adults can unwind, enjoy a game of pool or a soak or just some alone time. The meals are good portioned and taste great all but the hot dogs. Our favorites are the hamburgers, taco salads, and chicken fingers all meals come with a drink and fries. They have a small kiosk that sells Dippin Dots, and Slushies (you have to purchase the drink cup for this but you can bring it back during the season for refills. When you purchase a meal if you have the Wild Island Cup they will use that for your drink rather than the paper cup (which tends to be smaller). Cabanas are also available to rent for parties. They also offer birthday party packages that come with water park passes, food, and ice cream families bring in there own cake. They have weekday specials: Waterpark Deals after 3:00 pm. $23.50 check there website for their other daily specials. Value Days: Select Days in June and August (5/19, 6/1, 6/2, 8/7 - 8/11, 8/14 - 8/18, 8/21 - 8/25) All admissions $17.50 from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. Be sure to check the calendar for operating times

Overall the park was fun for the whole family. one incident happened. My daughter and I went on to the Black Widow. We specifically asked the gal at the top if the heavier person goes in front or the back of the double tube. She said heavier on front. I weigh 205 my daughter 70. So I sat in front. We started down the slide and the back end of tube started to flip and when that happened neither my daughter or I could see anything because the whole ride is in the dark. I was bounced off the tube and started to slide on my side, back. Needless to say it scared me and it really scared my daughter. I was cut up on my arm and the next day my arm is sore from it. I am not sure how often it happens but I would just say be careful.

There is honestly nothing more frustrating than a place that will not provide information about their own product- not to mention the fact that this place is clearly not military friendly or even consumer friendly. Super unhelpful and frustrating. I have tried to call this place three times to ask about military discount and packages without having to visit MWR- each time I was hung up on. So I decided to message them on Facebook only to be ignored twice again within 48 hours. Glad to know you support your veterans and their families, Wild Island!

Rented a cabana so cool (temp).. loved order board..put in your order for food and within 5 minutes it arrived we had nachos beef so yummy. The park was great feel free to let your kids (12) run of park they had a ball..the lazy river even though crowded was fun. The wave pool can knock you down kids had a ball. Well worth the money...you might want to call ahead staff very helpful to get the best price and cabana pick. Lived it

My boyfriend and I recently spent a day here and we loved it. Despite the fact we were amongst the few in the 20-30 year old range, the park was a ton of fun. We went down nearly every slide without having to wait forever. All the equipment and tubes needed were readily available. The park staff was awesome when there was a weather hiccup. Overall, great place for a summer day play date!

Love it.. get there early for shade! We went on a Tuesday this time which was loads better than the last time which was a Sunday. My only complaint is that the place is all concrete. They need some more trees and stuff. the lazy river is just a float through concrete.. more spray/mist and some overhanging foliage would make it so much more... maybe there is a reason they dont do that.

I hadnt gone here since I was in high school and I ended up going a few weeks ago. It was really fun!! We went early so the lines for the slides werent too long. As the day went on and they got longer, we just gave up on them. The water was not heated so be prepared for cold water everywhere and go when the weather is nice! It was $30 for a ticket.

It is amazing and better since they put up the bird deterrents. There is a horrible dip in the lazy river on the freeway side though that is not marked well with a sign or paint or anything and has not been fixed. EVERY year I forget its there the first trip and it sucks to twist your ankle in it. But if that was fixed, it would so be 5 stars

The perfect place to go during the summer. All sorts of slides and attractions to do. Lifeguards and supervisers are friendly and always help when needed. Saw a lifeguard save someone in the wave pool, so I know they are always alert and can be relied on. Great place for all ages with reasonable prices. Instant 5-star!

Arrive early and ride the slides as soon as you get there to avoid long lines. Be advised that you cant bring outside food or drinks (except any manufacturer sealed disposable water bottle) into the park, but you can leave food in your car and eat your lunch on benches outside the park.

We went to the coconut bowl for family friendly billiards and bowling, and the unlimited season pass my son and nephew have were completely useless as night after night tournament players absorbed evety table and lane for well over 3 hours. Save your time and money and go ANYWHERE else

Always have a great time here with the grand kids. Was not happy that the websight did not reflect the changed hours because school started in Reno. Yes, I should of called, but the web sight should have something about the change in hours. Always a great time.

It closed at 5 p.m. but they took about $9.00 off of each ticket. Under 3 $1.00 is great. Had a fun family day. The food was pretty good. And the staff was a bunch of millennials with whistles... Imagine... Lol... Really not to be taken seriously 90% of the time.
