To be honest, tonight was one of the worst experiences Ive had in almost twenty years of coming here. I didnt care for the fact that they closed off one entire side of the theater forcing patrons to walk in the rain from almost a block away. Of course that may have been done because of all the drunken fools that were in the theater tonight (number 12) waiving their cell phones throughout the movie. What really upset me was the Fandango kiosk. Instead of simply checking in like we normally do, with Fandango we had to wait 30 minutes in line for the one Fandango kiosk to get a ticket. It might have been better if the drunks could read the instructions to operate it. Meanwhile the people who were simply buying tickets were getting in twice as fast. Then we had to wait because the girl taking the tickets didnt have any 3D glasses. Instead of being an hour early to get a decent seat we got in five minutes before the show started and got to sit with all the kiddies who dont have school tomorrow - fun - NOT. For what its worth. None of us waiting in line went to the concession stand, I guess you dont need our business. If you are going to make us park a mile away, waiting in line for ticketless tickets, not have 3D glasses for a 3D movie, guess we dont have patience to wait for the overpriced popcorn, a price we normally accept. Just not tonight. Im glad they could have multiple security people hanging around instead of taking care of customers, to take care of the drunks, but as someone who has been coming here for years, I think my business will have to go elsewhere.

For mothers day (10May15), I took my wife and children to go see the new Avengers movie. We normally go to Chicago Ridge Mall. For this date, they were sold out so we went to Crestwood AMC. We have been to Crestwood AMC multiple times and we have never had any problems until now. We were in line waiting to buy our tickets. We were the next person in line and we had a lot of people behind us. A second register opens and instead of taking the next person in line (us), the young lady took the last person behind our line. Common sense would be to taking the next person in line. What made the incident worse, I went up to the young lady who open the second register and asked her for her name (did NOT have a name tag). She reply "Why? , for what??". I told her that is was for the review. She said her name was Jazmine. When i went to the service desk to speak to the manager, she told me that her name was NOT Jazmine that her name was Jorie. I was very surprised that she lied about her name. This incident was minor but with her lying, made it bigger. I just wanted to make a point for future reference. If a second register opens, they should take the next person in line and the last person. The action of this employee was very unprofessional and rude. Her actions not only reflects on her but also on AMC Theaters, specifically the AMC theater in Crestwood unit 2520. On a positive note, there was another employee by the name of Alize and Sean. They were wonderful! AMC needs to hire more employees like them.

So just saw the new Annabelle movie with my girlfriend and everything was going great until the rest of the row I was sitting in showed up(G1-G14). We also were responsible and bought our tickets at 2:00pm for the 10:30pm showing in order to choose our specific seats G13-14. They showed up after the movie had already started and asked me and my girlfriend to move down to G15-16 so they could sit by each other. This disrupted the already playing movie for not only us, but the rest of the theater as well. Multiple family members stood in the middle of the row contemplating on what to do and blocked the view for other patrons. So as much as we didnt want to move, we also didnt want them sitting on both sides of us. Once we moved down they did nothing but talk the entire movie and the little piggy sitting next to me was playing videos on her phone the entire time and even decided to answer a phone call as well. Normally I have a great experience when it comes to this place, but this was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a movie theater ever. Needless to say, I will never go to a release day showing of a movie here ever again. I just want to apologize to the staff on the behalf of that disgusting excuse of a family for having to clean the mess of popcorn buckets, cups, and bags strewn across basically the entire row they inhabited.

Ignore negative reviews. This place is awesome with great food. However be weary of going on a day thats bound to be crowded because ALL kids and MANY adults can be rude. Again this is not the fault of the establishment but the people who have no sense of basic manners or home training. As for the problem with mice or whatever you read in other reviews I am sad to say that this is true of every theatre and most grocery/convenience stores during some seasons it is virtually unavoidable. However they do maintain a clean environment especially when it isnt crowded. The bathrooms are the best Ive seen as far as theatres go. Ive never seen a stopped up toilet or feces on the walls and no grafitti. The staff is polite I only ever met one jerk in the food line who took his job way too seriously but who can fault him for that. The prices are high but I guarantee you its just as expensive as any other theatre. If youre cheap stay at home and wait for it to come on netflix because theatres are meant for people who want to spend. Also there are tons of restaurants by this theatre buy something you like put it in your purse and enjoy yourself.

I would not take a DOG into this theatre. Recently, I decided to take a movie in (January 2013). The theatre we were in smelled, and the seats could use a cleaning. Little did I know I brought something back from that DUMP of a theatre. BED-BUGs! And we have the bite marks to prove it along with the Dematologists bill along with 3 types of meds, injections and 3 tubes of salve. The theatre is a trap for vermin and is not cleaned and neither are the rest rooms. The Health Dept. should be notified and shut the owners down for a month for fumigation and disinfecting. Need to see a movie? Dont go to Loews Crestwood Theatres. Advice? When you get your tickets and theatre assignment, LOOK over your seats and the floor area. If the lighting is poor prior to the movie showing and the place smells unpleasant ask for your money back. Shake your coats and jackets out before you return home. Go to a REDBOX or NETFLIX and enjoy a movie in cleanliness and make a batch of Orville Redenbachers that YOU made! Not twenty other noncaring part-time teens who still cant wash their hands handling whatever.

How nasty does somebody have to act to tell a 17 year old girl that she cant see a rated R movie on her own with a valid ID? Popcorn is cold and my seat was dirty last few visits. I knew the previous owner of this location and he never treated me in such a manner that Christina, the manager, did. I will most certainly NOT be coming back here. A couple with the same situation that I did came to the front desk without a license, but other proof of age. Declined. The audacity of the workers is beyond my belief.
