I had my worst experience so far in an AMC theatre. I am wondering if it is because it a late night show, but it just did not work. The ladies at consesions did not know what they had available, and neither know how to use the cashier machine. At first my member number did not work, they said because it is something wrong in the system, so I should pay for a medium combo or get the small combo. That is just wrong!!! If their system does not work they should be responsible for it, so charge my card for the small combo and give me medium! I just did not like their attitude to make me get something I did not ask for! If it was "their" system I do not understand why I should pay for it. Anyway, it was just a problem on how one of them put the numbers in the system. Then I ask for hot dogs, I paid for it and then while I am waiting they said they do not have hot dogs!!! Wrong again! Then I realized that my soda had ice when I asked for no ice and when I go to the manager to tell him that everything wrong, he just get me a new soda with no ice instead of apologizing and fixing it! Finally, the lady who checks the tickets is flirting to one guy and she just cut my tickets and kept talking to the guy! It was a 3D movie and I asked for the glasses and she only gave me 3 when we were 4 and she never saw me to the eyes or anything. I am so sorry that AMC is getting too confident because they just to be the best that know they just do not care about their customer anymore.

If youre a visitor, you need to know that AMC Clifton Commons is not a theater with reclining seats. Ive been here a lot, and Ive had good and bad experiences. Dont go during busier times, because youll have bums, babies crying, and cell phones going off in your theater. I recommend not buying massive amounts of food because youll get poisoned if you buy hotdogs, hamburgers, nachos, or other hot foods. Stick with bagged/box candies, popcorn, and fountain sodas/slushies. You may not want to buy food anyhow, because the line is always very long. Popcorn is always very good. Prices are very high. I also recommend keeping casual, dont cause a scene about how you hate the service or products. Theres hundreds of people going in and out, and youll only cause trouble for yourself. I say this because the type of movie goers youll see may not be your comfort crowd. Especially for visitors, the seats are lined in rows like a prison because theres too many people in this area. You may have trouble getting seats. If you go during odd hours, the place is almost empty, the lines are short, and youll have a lot more fun with your friends or family.

I am very disappointed with this theater because last night i went to see the harry potter movie mararthon with my two kids. My youngest is 6 months and my son who is 3.5. the people who were sitting next to us )who are in their 30s mind you) kept looking at us. My daughter babbled like 5 times, she never screamed or cried at all. Well aparently this tight butt couple complained and either left or moved seats. So i was very disappointed to see like 5 security people come into the theater and tell me that they are getting complaints blah blah blah and that if they keep getting them that i would have to leave with my children because they cannot afford to give so many refunds back. UMMMM HELLO!!!! Harry Potter is a CHILDRENs MOVIE!!!!! So unfortunatley i have to go back there to watch the movies (not with my kids) but i wouldnt recomend going to AMC for any business, I like Regal cinemas anyway! (Oh and the reason why i took my kids in the first place was because i couldnt get a sitter, wheres the compassion?!) Its just ridiculous that i was going to get kicked out because of a tight butt 30 year old couple from a KIDS Movie.

This is my go-to movie theater. Ive seen possible one hundred movies here in the last fifteen years. I love it even more now that they have the soda machines were you choose the flavor you want - and they offer a TON of flavors now (Vanilla Coke Zero, Lime Coke Zero, Raspberry Coke Zero, etc.) The theaters are decently large - the two largest ones being for IMAX and IMAX 3D, however I cant ever really complain about any of the screen sizes. The lines for concessions can get a bit long but then again movies usually have fifteen to twenty minutes of previews. The popcorn is hit or miss. Sometimes its fresh and other times not so fresh. I usually dont order their other food products but on the times I have ordered them I cant recall any qualms I had with the level of quality I expect from a movie theater. On the weekends this movie theater can get packed, especially during the summer, and especially when school is out. I have Bowtie Cinemas -literally- down the street and another movie theater in town - but I always make the trip to this movie theater as its the only one I can ever see myself going to see a movie at.

Horrible customer service. Rude and irresponsible behaviors, had an issue regarding an item that fell out of my bag when my bag strap broke, the people were rude and needed to pass, i long story short a bag with a new purchase was left behind when i called the next morning, they took my number amd promised they would get back to me, no one did, called again 2 hours later, got hanged up on, called agin at the end of my work day, was out on hold and hanged up on, called again 30 minutes later was tarnsfered to a very rude woman who was chewing while talking on the phone while yelling and saying the call had to much static, blamed the cleaning staff saying nothing had been turned in, but never checked, gave my name again and contact info, no response. Nothing zilch. Nada. Was even rudely told that if the item was so important i should file a police report. I asked mam you cant contact the cleaning crew to find out if perhaps they placed the bag somewhere else, she said no one can contact the not even the general manager(i know this is a lie)

Oooooo the shade. Came to this location with a few friends around 8pm and was saddended to see how my fellow movie goer was treated by danny at the reception. As a valued stubs card member my friend simply asked to have his balance checked by danny prior to being charged for his ticket. Danny was very rude and insisted that his balance was zero until my friend reviewed his receipt with sure enough A SPENDABLE BALANCE !...we then went to customer service to formally complain about rude danny and were unfortunately greeted by Boulevard...yes...his name was boulevard...need I say more...so after having an argument back n fort with sir boulevard we proceeded to leave and spend our evening enjoying the fruits of chevys rather then continue to subject ourselves to the childish poor customer service of this AMC. So sad. Save yourself the aggravation and go to Ridgefield park or Garden state plaza where the employees know what customer service means....barely.
