While I appreciate the excellent seating at the theater, the facilities have to be given a knock for the fact that they dont have digital projection in all theaters. While that didnt used to be an issue, when youve got another theater with the same prices, new seats, and digital picture and sound in the same town, it really makes a difference. (Also, I find the "log cabin" theme utterly strange for a movie theater.) I do appreciate the fact that they consistently show new movies at midnight on Thursday, regardless of what they feel the mass appeal of the movie will be. Though speaking of mass appeal, I really wish theyd branch out beyond only major release. With 15 theaters, I had hoped theyd be able to show at least a few independent films. Overall, its a comfortable, well-priced theater going experience but it loses out because of picture and sound quality.

There are always plenty of employees working to get your ticket and snacks very quickly. It may appear like there are a ton of customers and not enough workers but it goes so quickly because the staff is so efficient. I like that you can fill your own beverage and go back for refills if need be. There is a great selection of snacks to pick out from. The Theater seating is great as far as height between rows but the chairs could stand to be a bit more comfortable. The restrooms are very clean and have the quick dry hand blowers. Outside of the restrooms there are also hand sanitizer stations which is great when you dont need to use the restroom but want your hands clean to dig into that popcorn.

I have gone to this cinema every weekend for the last 5 weeks in a row and I have to say for the value you can not beat the price. Its very clean inside, and the tickets run about 5.75 each, where I am from its 12 bucks. The chairs are very cushy and recline so you can sit back and enjoy your film. Even the movie concessions are fairly reasonable for the price. For a family of 4 I went got a large refillable popcorn, 2 large drinks unlimited refills, and 2 packages of candy and the total was 40 bucks. My ONLY gripe about this place is sometimes the rooms smell a little musty. Overall it has always been a pleasant experience. Oh and super clean pottys.

For quite a bit of my adult life I could not go to new movies in the theaters due to a bad back and usually the seats were horrid. Being taller and bigger than overage (63" & 240) I could never get comfortable in a theater. River Cinemas stadium seating with reclining seat backs has allowed me to see new movies again! Very comfortable, even when you see a show that it is packed and you have people all around you. The prices are very reasonable so I dont feel the need to sneak snacks in; free refills on pop and large popcorn is a bonus. The kids working there are always helpful and friendly. Well, kept and clean; worth every single penny.

Because it is showing more Christian true stories not all that gore. I like the fact that theyve increased the showing areas so there are more accessible handicapped areas which is helpful for my friends and the only thing I dont like is that its right upfront the first bro and that can be kind of difficult when youre in a wheelchair depending on what circumstances they are dealing with but other than that I do like keep the Christian-based movies coming in and Im a happy camper I do like their Easter thing where you can win something

This Movie theater is great! There are tons of selections on what to watch, and depending on the time and day you go, it can be quite quiet. The chairs are actually comfortable, and even lean back slightly. The concessions are also good, but expensive (as expected, I mean, it IS a movie theater). The ticket prices are not too bad, especially if you see a matinee (show starts before 6:00pm). The bathrooms are clean, and the service is friendly. In the end, this place is an excellent choice for a good time.

been going to this theater since it opened a few years ago, and Ive been to theaters in New York and Oregon, and this remains my favorite theater Ive ever been to anywhere. Love that its in my hometown and only a bit of a walk away. The Prices are incredibly reasonable, the seats are comfortable, the prices of snacks and pop are very low, and the atmosphere above all else is what I like the most about it. Very cozy and comfortable. Friendly vibe overall. I love this place.

The nicest theater in the area and pretty reasonable prices. The only complaints I have is the theaters themselves are decent size and decent sound. The lobby on the other hand is kind of a jumbled mess. Im not sure if its the lack of constant theme or the fact that there is almost never anyone on the ticket poles to divert traffic and avoid congestion in the hallways. Its an unconventional theater, but it has a charm to it.

GREAT THEATER!! i went there got 2 movie tickets a small drink (with free refills) and a small popcorn for $20.00, the theaters are not very big but there are a lot of them; which is nice, because it never gets to noisy. Also the chairs are like sitting on a cloud! Overall: Cheap, Friendly, Great quality, and the atmosphere feels like you are at a cabin, I highly recommend it!

River Cinema 15 is in small town Grand Forks and this theater appropriately reflects that style. Not much to complain about when the tickets are $7.50 or something at night. The reason for my 3 stars is because each row of seats is barely higher than the one in front of it. Chances are pretty good youll get a tall country dude wearing a camouflage hat in front of you.

Most amazing movie theater that I have ever been too. Very relaxing and the staff has been great every time we go to see a movie which is every six months or so just gave depending on the movies that are playing. Strongly recommend to whoever is wanting to see a movie and relax and have fun with whomever you are with if not by yourself as well.

Tickets are affordable which is a huge plus, and the theaters are always very clean. the only thing negative that I can think to say is that the seats dont have enough height between the rows so if youre a shorter person stuck behind a taller guy like me, youll probably end up looking at the back of someones head for most of the movie

The chairs were pretty comfortable and could recline which made the movie experience much more enjoyable. The drinks and snacks were reasonably priced, and the atmosphere of the whole building was really fun and energetic. The only downside was that the soda fountain area was pretty messy, but not a big issue.

Enjoy all aspects of River Cinema. Only draw back that should be addressed is cell phone use. Only time to have it on is if you are an emergency worker. If your paying to see a movie why not enjoy it! I would love to see a block on them in the movie but know there are a few exceptions.
