Today I bought what iIthought was 4 tickets to a childrens $1.00 movie for myself and 3 of my grandchildren. I didnt have my glasses on so I couldnt see what the ticket said. I gave the cashier a $10.00 bill and she gave my my change that I just put in my wallet without counting. After getting popcorn and drinks for the kids we gave the ticket to the ticket taker and started walking to the theater, we were more than half way down the hall when one of them ran after us and said I had only paid for 1 ticket. I didnt know what was going on because I clearly said 4 tickets when I bought them. The ticket taker told me to get seats for the kids (5 and 6 year olds) and leave them in the theater alone while I go with him to talk to the cashier. I was shocked that this person would tell me to leave them in the theater alone. I went back to the cashier to find out what was going on, the cashier looked up something on the computer screen and said to the ticket taker, "she only bought 1 ticket". I said, "no, I bought 4, I very clearly said 4". The cashier went on to say, "you were alone so I only sold you 1 ticket". She even agreed that I said 4 but because I was alone she only sold me 1 and she was very rude saying it was my fault because I was alone and started yelling at me. I asked to speak to the manager who did not offer an apology but only said, "she got confused" and walked away. It was a horrible experience and I will never go back to this place ever again. I have spent hundred, if not thousands, of dollars over the years at this theater to be treated this way by a cashier who clearly made the mistake and then to be told by a different employee to leave my grandchildren in the theater alone, was unbelievable bad customer service. With everything as overpriced as it is, the least they can do is offer exceptional customer service, sadly that is not the case.

Ive been to dozens and dozens of theaters and this one takes the cake. More screens means more movies! You got English, Spanish, Indian and Filipino movies! Alot of varied movies! Of course you need to realize this is a movie theater so of course there will be so much more people Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The parking will be horrible since this is smack dab in the middle of a bunch of stores. Shoot for the early bird times as there will be less people unless its a AAA movie like Disney or marvel movies! One gripe I have about this theater is that they have installed some leather seats in some of the screens but the problem is that the arm rests dont go up. So even when you are watching a movie, you are lonely and sad in your own little island even if your spouse is one seat away. I feel like groceries and the arm rest is like the plastic divider that separates my gf from me

So disappointed with this theater Last night was ridiculous to say the least. I dont know where to start guess at the beginning of what I experienced they have only one machine to purchase with card and it never works when I come to this location. The line for the ice cream, coffee, etc was to the front door even if I wanted something from this area I would of missed the beginning of my movie. The popcorn, fountain drink, and candy line was long too and one of the fountain machine wasnt working at all and was filthy dirty popcorn and drinks spilled all over. Even if this location is close to me i while drive a little further to go to the amc thats way better sorry to be brutally honest century

Our go-to movie theater since we moved to Union City. 25 screens, so theres always a movie running at our time convenience. Screen size is decent and seats are OK, that too good or not too bad. XD experience is completely different than normal screens. The screen is humongous and sound is awesome. The seats are recliners too. And popcorn is very soft and tasty. Quality of 3D movies is amazing. The colors, details everything. Size of the hall is also big so you get good seats always. Parking can be difficult on weekends, so make sure you count the time to find parking in your calculations.

Worst . I would rate it "0 given an option. Worst behaviour by security and indecent behaviour towards audience. Very rude .No pre assigned seats and no justice to people who came in early. We lost our money , time and were upset. 3 of our seats were occupied by others and nobody is ready to hear about the incovenience caused to us and our kids .They have argued badly and behaved rudely. I would avoid this theatre at any cost in future. Worst experience i ever had.

Why do they charge 5 dollars and 5 CENTS for a small popcorn?? The extra 5 cents is so ridiculous. Today, all I had was a 20 dollar bill, and I didnt want to get back 14 dollars and 95 cents in change, so I passed on the pop corn. That extra 5 cents cost them a sale. It would make it so much easier on the cashier and it would speed up the lines if they didnt have to make change that the extra 5 CENTS requires. Hey Century, do you need more 1 dollar bills?

I have been to this theatre a number of times in the last few months. Theatres are OK. (In comparison, I really liked the ones in Mountain View though). I wish the Union Landing theatre had those Luxury Loungers too. Seating areas doesnt seem to be cleaned properly often. Overall it is not too clean. I have noticed that the staffs are not very friendly. Should increase the number of restrooms there. Again, restrooms arent clean most of the times.

I remember hearing way back, over 10+ years ago that Century 25 was one of, if not THE biggest movie theaters in the region. I dont know of any other place that rivals the 25 theaters this place has. Aside from that, nothing else is really special about this place. No imax. Pricing is what youd expect from any typical theater. They do have specials throughout the week like half price Tuesdays.

In comparison to the other theaters nearby where I lived (oakland), this theater is quite a drive from me, but definitely worth driving to make sure that the environment is nice and not so ghetto. The staff are friendly and when I walk out the theater super late at night, Im not super concerned with my safety as the police are always looming about in the parking lot which is always well lit.

I watched Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It was a great movie and I watched it in XD 3D. It cost $16 yikes. It would have been fine to just watch it in regular 3D. I didnt buy any popcorn or anything because it was more than I was willing to pay on top of my big movie ticket price. My movie experience overall was great and the employees were helpful and courteous.
