The trail around the lake sometimes has high grass and downed branches, and due to the number of snakes in the area it can make for eventful runs/walks. The highway nearby is a bit distracting from the natural beauty along parts of the trail. Those complaints aside, the staff is very friendly... and deer, birds, and other animals are easy to spot near the lake.

Fantastic visitor center exhibits, trails abundant with wildlife, free educational programs, summer camps for kids, nature store with LOTS of great books, guides, and t-shirts. Not to mention, Lake Caroline is BEAUTIFUL! Perfect for kayaking and watching the sun set over the water

Great food at a good price! Had a wonderful lunch today for the third time to meet with a former neighbor and catching up. The sever was justwonderful! Brought us a second drink and let us just visit. It has become a fevorable meeting place. Love Logans!
