I have been to this theater many times now and it was by far my favorite theater that is the reason Im not giving it a lower rating. HOWEVER tonight I went to see a 10 oclock showing of X Men and as with 98% of Marvel movies there is always something after the credits so I waited around to see what it was. Well as soon as the credits start rolling the cleaners come in and turn on, not just the lights on the side, but every light in the theater and continue to clean it as the credits are rolling. The movie was not over yet and there was no other showing after this one so there is no need to clean the theater as soon as the credits start. He came in about 40 minutes before it ended making a lot of noise cleaning while the movie was actually going with the lights off but then quickly left. This has been a horrible experience because for what we pay for a ticket you should be able to enjoy the WHOLE movie not just a portion then feel rushed to get right out when you know there is something important at the end of the movie and you cant see it because all the lights are on in the theater so the projection cannot be seen on the screen, and you have the guy in the row behind you huffing and puffing because he wants you to leave. This is not how I expect to be treated while relaxing watching a movie. I would expect to be able to watch the entire movie (including the credits if someone wanted to) without being rushed out.

Went to see Guardians of the Galaxy 2 in Xd. So I order tickets and reserved seats on the day of release on fandango. Get there the customer service was very questionable. Some were ok but others some were just plain rude. Example: My lady already brought candy and pizza she had to turn right back around and they try to double charge here for the candy until she pulled out a receipt and putting 2 pizza a drink refill and 2 candy boxes. Then get to the movie. I am disabled cause of transplants and surgeries hell its even on my car so i reserved seats in the middle row for handicap come to find out they were empty spaces with out nothing letting me know. paid 31.00 for some good seats; my girl and bounced around cause those seats we got didnt exsist so the manager came up and move us to the front row to the complete far right worst viewing for a 31.00 movie ticket and 50 dollars worst of snacks. They didnt treat us as customers but just to tell us they were empty space and sorry fandango didnt say. So I spent 2 hours in a horrible spot and was just given 2 receipts. Since this is the first timeof us going there and my girl love five mile drive we decided to go... But now i think we should go to Regal for now on or Cinnebare.

I have been to this theater four times now. The inside is nice, clean, typically quiet and thus far have not run into any over-sized mobs of people. The area is similar; a quaint place to be. However, Ive knocked two stars of my rating for one glaring issue: babies. Not outside, but within the theater. There has been a baby in every. single. movie Ive gone to here. And Im not talking childrens movies. Im talking action packed, mostly loud thrillers not suitable for infants. I certainly dont spend my money to hear and smell someones baby coo, cough or cry, or waft its stink through an enclosed space, nor do I spend it so I can watch the parents constantly flock in front of the screen, in and out of the room the entire length of the featured film. Ive never encountered any issue like this in any other theater. Frankly, Im a little shocked they let folk with infants into these kinds of movies in the first place. Probably wont be returning to this venue.

There other Cinemark locations in the area have upgraded their seats as well to the power recliners offered here. My first issue was on a Friday afternoon when a highly anticipated family movie released (Secret Life of Pets), they have just one line opened at the concessions stand at 3:30. On top of that, the service staff were a bit slow. Thats not the end of the world, but during the movie we could actually hear dialogue from the movie next to us. I had to do a triple take on this because I want sure if I was hearing good ambient surround sound background voices, but then there was a scene (we were there to see Finding Dory) where there was no background conversations and I could hear voices from the screen next to us. In this day and age it isnt difficult to get your sound-proofing correct.

So excited to have a big theater in Tacoma again! (Not that I dont love the Grand and Blue Mouse.) Ive been here three times now, always buying tickets and picking seats ahead of time. Speaking of which, the seats ARE amazing (Just dont drop anything between them). Showed up kind of late the first time on a busy night, and we were ushered quickly to our seats. No more awkwardly scooting between other peoples knees. This last time, I went to a 9:00am showing and there might have been just one other customer in the building. The bathroom seems kind of small when a popular movie gets out, and the concessions are pricey, but thats no surprise. Im excited to see how things develop as the construction is finished outside.

My biggest complaint is the bad hand railing. It starts, stops, starts, stops, starts, stops....this is bad for someone who has a hard time seeing in the dark and a hard time walking without support. There is no reason for the hand railing not to be continuous. Yes the seats are comfortable (took forever to figure out the leg/foot rest. However, the screen being its size we found that the last row was the best for us, but since the theaters have almost no seats we have to buy the tickets 5-6 days ahead. The prices for the food/drinks were outrageous. $4.15 for a small drink that costs them maybe 5 cents to make. Needless to say we do not buy food and drink there....we eat before or after going.

Assigned seating and leather reclining seat that come like a love seat and you can remove the middle arm if you want to snuggle up with ur date. Very comfortable also the price was fair $10 for a 6:40 showing isnt bad I actually pay more than that at my local theater and its not even close you can even get a combo for $13 large popcorn and a drink with free refill now thats sweet. I also love the idea of buying tickets online and just picking them up from the kiosk outside but beware I got one and forgot the other one since it was stuck to the back side of the machine. Other than that it was awesome experience!!

After waiting nearly 20 minutes in line for the dark haired, heavy set manager and one blonde lady to do a thing with the only customer in front of me, I spoke up, asking if anyone else was available to help. The lady said she could - if I was using a credit card. Luckily I was, but the film was full. The manager never looked up, never addressed the crowd (that grew to 50 while I waited) and apologized for the wait, or tried to get another person to help at another register. I know the place is new. All the more reason to ask for fricken help if you fricken need it. Not coming here again.
