Two friends and myself were "kidnapped." As first timers, the room we were about to enter and the game rules were clearly explained to us in advance. We were allowed the freedom to locate and attempt to solve puzzle clues on our own. There were occasional announcements by our kidnapper as to how much time was left and when we were close to applying a clue to solve the puzzle but showing little progress, our clue master would ask a pertinent question while still allowing us to come up with the answer. Although we did not beat the clock with our escape, our hosts graciously explained and showed us how close we came to making our escape. We all agreed it was a first class and fun experience and well worth the money we spent. It truly was a five star experience!!!
This was our first time to do any kind of break out room. We went as a family of five. At first we had no idea what we were doing but our guide was awesome in getting us started and made our experience a great time. We could tell she enjoyed her job and wanted us to have fun. We did the Museum Heist room and really enjoyed it! There were a couple of neat surprises along the way which really made it fun. I wish they had more of these surprises! As a family of five it can be a bit expensive but if you are looking for something very different to do as a family I highly recommend this.
First time going, took 2 teens with me an i sat an watched them 98% of the time (fell an hurt myself 10 min before getting there) an i still cant get over the price i paid to do this . 85$ for us 3 just still in shock lol we didnt make it out in time which is fine an understanding but still shocked to see i paid that much to do that. Now that i know what its like an what to espect this is something i dont know if ill ever do again. Just a tip to others put your thinking caps on an think outside the box . It definitely makes you think an use your mind.
I would say it was an exhilarating night with the gang. Two of our friends were experiencing the escape room concept for the first time and "Museum Heist" had more than enough to activate all our gray cells. We completed the puzzles with 7 more minutes to spare. The game master was quite supportive as well. He stopped the timer for us when we had a bit of an issue with one of the locks. If someone wants to try the escape room concept for the first time or is an amateur this is the place to be.
Our group was a young adult Sunday School class (ages 20-26) The room was challenging but not impossible. We had to work together and not let any one person dominate. Our challenge was the museum heist and at first I thought we were never going to get out. It took us like 5 minutes to crack the first clue. From there we gained speed and knowledge and broke out in 49:33. Awesome. The "kids" cant wait to do it again. GREAT Winter activity when there isnt much to do inside.
I had a wonderful time at the Breakout games. My friends and I played the "abduction" game. It was challenging but not impossible. As for the facilities, the building was very nice, clean, and new. The staff was nice. The experience was kinda pricey though, at $20 a person. Overall, I would recommend the experience to a group of friends looking for something fun and different to do.
Great Experience with The Kidnapping Challenge. It was fun, the staff was great, and the place was clean and organized. Weve done a few escape rooms throughout the city and this place is on par. This specific challenge was in a smaller room than Ive experienced in others, so be mindful to probably stick with a group of 6 or less. Other than that it was a nice experience.
I went with my fiance, and we ended up being the only two in our game. However, it was a blast! We had so much fun figuring out the clues, and they were actually pretty difficult. It was so satisfying when we unlocked a lock and got clues for the next one. We had so much fun, even though we didnt get out, but we will definetely go back again.
Breakout was totally Awesome! Its been quite sometime since Ive had this much fun and enjoyment. A great team building experience for work or if you just want to have plan old family fun, then you want to book a reservation for the Breakout Challenge! -Renell Soldier-Girl Whitehead
We had a fantastic time. We were able to complete the game with a couple of minutes to spare. Staff was helpful. We had a really great time. Each person contributed to the game. The room was decipitivly small. We had 7 people & more people would have been a problem.
Great first time breakout or escape room experience. Took a group of 13yr olds for a birthday party. They all had a blast and it was a lot of fun for me as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone! Great challenging puzzles and our game master was awesome!
What a blast! It was our first experience with Breakout and we did the Casino room. It started off with laughs and goofing around, but we got serious real quick trying to solve the clues. 60 minutes fly by! We will definitely go back for the different rooms!
The room was prepared on time and the guide was very helpful in describing the events. The clues within the room were well thought out and made sense. This was the second room Ive done with this company and plan to come back and do the other rooms.
Hard to find the the building due to GoogleMaps pin in wrong location, common in strip malls. The game experience was great fun, something for everyone in our seven person party. Interesting storyline, varied clues. Very helpful game master too.
We did the casino room with our family and a family of 4 we didnt know. We all worked together to get the clues to break the code in 44 minutes! It definitely wasnt easy but we had a great time doing it. Cant wait to try a different room!
Had a great time at Breakout Games in West Chester! This was our first "escape room" experience and we couldnt believe how fast the time went! We did the "Operation: Casino" and our 2 James Bond addicts were very pleased.
I had so much fun. The staff was very friendly and fun to work with. Even though we didnt make it out with an official breakout, the clues were amazing and pieced together well. I look forward to another experience!
We took Dad here as a surprise for his birthday. He is a huge James Bond fan, so we played the Operation: Casino game. He absolutely loved it! We broke out in 48 minutes! A great thing to do with the family!
Loved the escape room (we did hostage and christmas caper). Both hosts were wonderful - they kept our challenge fun and engaging. The escape rooms are high caliber and creative. Thank you!
A ton of fun. We did the kidnapping room and it was intense and challenging but at the same time fun and exciting. I would totally come back again next time im in town (from chicago)
