Wedding parties beware!!!!! The manager Julie ended up being a complete bi-ch. We had a small wedding reception of 50 people.. We paid /plate. So be very careful when you hand over your money because per plate means no one is allowed to go up for seconds etc. we paid for 8 kids and only 4 ate. The mother of the bride was holding her grand baby so the bride could eat and was waiting patiently for someone to take the baby. But before she could even get up to the food table they started to tear it down. Yes they took all of the plates, silverware etc. I guess it was so no one could sneak a plate. So when the mother of the bride went up she was in awe that they were cleaning up. They waited less than 5 min after what they thought was the last person went thru. I approached Julie (manager) regarding the issue and she was a very harsh person and ultimately told me she would not discuss the issue with me. Me being the master of ceremony and uncle to the bride, also walked her down the isle. She literally walked away from me. I was just trying to clarify why the food couldnt stay out a bit longer. She insistently stated the food was not ours, there will be no seconds and everyone had their chance to eat. Oh btw she took the horderves away in the same manor. It was unbelievable . Great way to ruin a reception. To add insult to injury the golfers kept coming in the hall doors to use the bathroom walking right in front of the DJ , SERIOUSLY! I will never return and am warning you all beware of Quail Ridge and especially Julie. One positive comment is the 2 young men helping were awesome. I would hire them to work for me.

We booked Quail ridge Golf Course for our wedding ceremony and reception venue on 9/24/16. The main contact, Steve, is just absolutely wonderful. Really a joy to work with and hear from. Always answered my questions in a timely manner. Their food tasting was excellent and right up to the day of the wedding they were always on top of things. Julie was the floor manager on our wedding day, and she was very attentive and helped to make the day run very smoothly. All of the waiters and staff were professional and kind. I cant tell you how many compliments we have gotten about Carlos and also about how wonderful the food is. The venue itself is incredibly beautiful inside and out. The ceremony site is especially pretty with the pond. We have a few handicapped family members and the location is perfect for accessibility and they also allowed us to use their golf carts to transport the elderly to the ceremony location, which was very helpful. All in all we wouldnt change a thing about this venue and we would very highly recommend them.

Course is in decent condition. The course rangers/marshalls are what made me decide I will not be returning to this course. Having played many rounds of golf at many different courses I am familiar with slow play and the pace needed for the groups to play along smoothly. The group behind decided to call the clubhouse and send multiple rangers out to notify us that a "member has called and would like to play through"- you can see who has priority. The course employees were very rude and disrespectful of our patronage there that day. We had to wait about 20 minutes from when we finished the hole to when we could tee off next because they were so far behind us. A golfer in my group mentioned that he has had similar issues before at Quail Ridge regarding their rangers "wearing their badges" around the course and interfering when it was not necessary.

Great venue, wonderful food and awesome service. We received many compliments from our guests at our daughters wedding reception. Steve, Julie and their team were great and fun to work with. They made our daughters day live up to her "awesome-themed" expectations. The wedding party really enjoyed taking golf carts out to take pictures on the golf course. Everyone had a fun time. They made this day go smoothly and worry free. We highly recommend Quail Ridge for your event.

The last three times Ive played at Quail I asked the rate for our tee time, was quoted one rate, and then was told the rate was $5-15$ higher when I arrived. Not sure if this was a money grab or just a mistake, but 3 times in a row is pretty annoying. The course itself is nice, but being lied to about the already high price is a deal breaker for me and there are some other great options very close by.

Without a doubt my favorite course in Grand Rapids. There isnt another course in Grand Rapids with better kept greens, and they are huge. The condition of this course is much better than the other courses in the area. The service it great, I am treated better here than any course Ive played in the United States. Would recommend this course over any of the Grand Rapids courses.

Beautiful course which is both public and private. Already open for 2017. Lessons are available with the pro. The course is meticulously maintained. The club house has pretty good food. The best deal is to get a membership which includes cart and unlimited golf. If there isnt snow, they are usually open. We golfed in January 2017, a rarity in MI.

Loved my round at Quail Ridge. Absolutely beautiful Course that challenges you but doesnt overwhelm the average golfer. A little pricier for me but worth the extra bucks. At the eighteen tee with the sun fading a deer came right up to our tee box and chilled for a bit. A great way to spend a Friday evening

Ok course. Horrendous management and attitude towards guests. Last time here my tee time was 30 minutes delayed, and i got a lot of grief for being a walker. Thornapple Pointe is a better option in the neighborhood. We are not coming back and i would not recommend this course to non-members.

Well maintained, well designed, challenging course. Price is appropriate for quality. Not as well known as similarly priced courses in the area, so it is less crowded, less played, and easier to get on. Used as a practice course by PGA senior tour when in town.

Overpriced. It is an above average course as far as design and condition, but other courses are equal to or better in both regards and not nearly as expensive. Will never pay for this course again unless they drop the prices quite a bit.

Fun course, very scenic. the greens were HUGE, but very well mantained. I would go back again anytime. They have a lot of highschool teams that play out there during the season.

Great layout and design. Play was a little slow, but that was to be expected for this day (first time out for many golfers). Will play again, definitely.

Course is in good shape and depending on the tees you play could be very challenging but fair. A little pricey but not over the top.

Great course for the price! Greens are undulating and quick. Perfect track to work on course management and testing your overall game.
