A friend and I booked this tour based on another customers recommendation. It was super relaxing and consisted of cruising through La Jolla and Pacific Beach. We stopped at Childrens Pool and got a -very- interesting history of the area, the Scripps family, geology, and controversy between locals and the seals. Then we made our way through uber-rich neighborhoods that are home to the likes of Mitt Romney. Midway through we had free time along the boardwalk in Pacific Beach where we grabbed lunch. The information presented was very idiosyncratic of a San Diego local. Colby was our guide and hes big on naval, surfing, and geology info. All in all everyone we met at the shop was gregarious. This was expected as even through email Jerrit was friendly. On arrival we were offered sunblock, water, and healthy snacks. A quick tutorial of the e-bikes proved that these things are -a lot- of fun and I intend on buying one for myself! The tour was private with just my friend and I. To book, you need a minimum 2 people. We opted for a friday 1 pm tour and that was perfect. For parking theres a local garage for $20 and connected to it is a National Geographic Gallery with -stunning- photographs. Ebikes are something I recommend because theyre so fun! Fly Rides SD has my praise for being so cool. Colby stayed true to his gregarious nature and even offered up local restaurants to try all over La Jolla. If I had more money on me I would have tipped him generously because he deserved it. If the opportunity presents itself, I would love to try a more grueling tour with Fly Rides SD. Take a tour and enjoy yourself!

The guys at this shop are great! My daughter and I were only in la Jolla for one evening, which we later definitely regretted. Anyway, we had very little time in the area but wanted to take a bike ride along the coast line. We visited the shop at 3 oclock in the afternoon and although the bike shop closes at five and the tours are typically for four hours, they allowed us to rent the bikes for half the cost for the two remaining hours of the day. We are from Florida so of course we are only accustomed to very flat terrain. So I was a little nervous about the electric bikes but wow! What a great experience! The guys working there gave us a map to follow the coastline and it was absolutely beautiful and such a great experience on the electric bikes . When we returned to the bike shop I realised that I had left my phone sitting on a pole at the beach while I was shaking out my towels. One of the guys from the bike shop, ran and got his car, brought it back and picked us up and drove us over to the beach to get the phone. And then he did not even want to take a tip....such nice guys! The next time we visit La Jolla we will definitely go back to this bike shop And hopefully do a longer bike ride next time.

Ike, the owner, suggested the SoCal Riviera Tour, which was perfect for what I was looking for! Alex took us out, and he was so entertaining and gave us lots of great trivia about the area. We got to see the most iconic views of La Jolla (including the Cove, Childrens Pool, Scripps Park, etc.), but we also were able to see parts of the Village that were off the beaten path... the most beautiful neighborhoods, a local bike trail, a steep ride up Soledad Mountain without breaking a sweat, a gorgeous 360 view of San Diego (the mountains, the coastline, the Golden Triangle, Mission Bay, Coronado Island, downtown, etc.) from Mt. Soledad, and a fun ride down through the Country Club area where we got to see some fascinating architecture. I would recommend this tour to locals, as well. A unique way to get to see a lot of La Jolla in just a couple of hours, and the electric bikes are so fun to ride! Just a quick lesson and we were on our way around this beautiful seaside town...

샵 위치가 라호야 코브여서 물개와 바다를 보며 산책한 후 자전거를 빌려 타기 좋습니다. 직원분들이 정말 정말 정말 친절해요. 자전거를 타면 허기지기 마련인데 간단한 스낵이 샵에 준비돼있고 게다가 공짜라 기분이 좋았어요. 자전거보다 쉽고 오토바이보다 안전한 전기자전거로 즐기는 라호야 해변 라이딩은 최고였습니다. 별 하나 마이너스인 이유: 라이딩 거의 마지막에 친구 자전거에 문제가 생겨 수동으로 언덕을 올라와야했습니다. 원인을 알았다면 쉽게 고칠 수 있었던 문제인데 미리 고지를 받지못해 친구가 살짝 고생을 했습니다.

After looking for a fun place to spend some time, we came across Fly Rides by accident, and Im sure glad we did!! We showed up a few hours before closing and Ike was able to gear us all up with enthusiasm and professionalism. He showed us the various models he had for rental and we decided on the Stromer eBike. He provided us with snacks, water, a map sent through email to my smartphone and even a jacket! Our trip up to Mount Soledad was a blast! Not only did we see seals, but we experienced the beauty of the La Jolla area. The bikes were great, top notch!! The climb up the hills were made easy with the electric assist. Over the two hours we were biking, the seats were comfy. All in all, we had a great time and we would love to do it again. Definitely would recommend this to anyone. Thanks Ike!

This place and the people are amazing! My husband and I rented some bikes while on our honeymoon near San Diego about a month ago. We biked south from La Jolla and enjoyed the beautiful scenery and made several stops for food and drinks. It was by far our favorite day of our honeymoon. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating--from making sure we were prepared for the trip, to helping fit us with the right bikes, to granting us an extension of the bike rentals because we were having so much fun! The bike rentals are great for experienced bikers as well as those who are not. You are able to control how much assist you get from the electric motor, so you can control whether you pedal hard or simply enjoy a leisure ride with the pedal assistance!

I love San Diego Fly rides. I have taken 2 La Jolla tours with them. They were so much fun. It felt incredible to be back on a bike again. So much so that I bought a bike of my own. I am 52 years old and love riding my Stromer electric bike. I live in a small town that has lots of hills. There is no way that I would be able to ride up these massive inclines without pedal assist. I am very happy with my purchase. I have had a few repairs that Ike took care of right away. Because, I live pretty far away, Ike always tried to walk me through minor repairs on the phone. If I cant do it myself, I have taken the bike into the shop and he has repaired it right away. He is awesome. You cannot go wrong going on a tour or buying a bike from Ike.

What a great experience buying an E bike from San Diego Fly Rides ! My friend and I took advantage of a sale and bought a couple of bikes. This dealer has the best selection of many makes and models, and you can test ride any model you like. Technical help is top notch and everything is explained in detail so you can understand how they operate, simple and easy to learn. They have a shop and bikesmith on site for complete service needs, but Im hoping I wont be needing help anytime soon, as these are some sturdy well made bikes. Give em a try. I am recommending Ike and his crew to all my friends.
