One of my favorite places to play golf in San Diego. Open to the public with 2 golf courses. The North is longer and more difficult for better, experienced golfers. The south is shorter, less challenging, but still fun for good golfers. The courses are in pretty good shape with well kept greens. If you play in the afternoon, you may see some deer on the South course. The food is good and the prices are even better! On my scale of 5, based on quality of course, view/scenery, quality of food and overall price, I give it 4 stars. Enjoy!

Love this Golf Course! Since my Uncle took me there when I was 10 to present time this place only has gotten better! My 5 year old son & 11 year old daughter now get to enjoy the course with me and it is in outstanding shape. The renovations and updates make this golf course worth every penny. Wide open fairways for you hackers, but challenging pins for you scratch golfers. Whether youre a civilian or veteran their rates are the best in town. Try a round today, you will love it!

I have stayed at Admiral Baker RV Park three times now the last time was on 15 June - 6 July 2015. I have had the most positive experiences at this park. It is clean, quiet and well run by Panama and his staff. I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the San Diego area as it is centrally located and easy freeway access to I-15 and I-8. At $30 per day it is a great dea. Edward J. Probe CPO Retired

Warning! NOT open to public. I live up the street. Tried to walk through the park to the clubhouse was accosted by a very grumpy old man who threatened to have us arrested for trespass on a military installation. In front of my family no less. Within 60 seconds of contact he was threatening arrest. Do not go here unless you want to risk being arrested. I was told that "Yelp doesnt matter and is wrong."

Wow, bring my dogs to the dog park ever week. This morning I was asked to leave because Im not in the military?? Omg Im the only person in the dog park with my two dogs?? The woman in her maroon car with the Virginia licenses plate; watch out for her... Seems like shes got a bit of a power trip going on... Makes no sense to have a beautiful park that no one is allowed to use.

South course; its in pretty good shape. Fairways were a little bare in spots. Course is a little short, but provides some variety. Knocked off a star thanks to the dude at the counter. Not sure what his deal is but he obviously doesnt like performing his primary duty, which is being nice while hes taking peoples money. Otherwise a decent day of golf.

We have been going to Admiral Baker Club House for professional meetings for the last 3 years and spent between $400-$500 at each event. The new personnel changes in the Catering department gave us the worst and unprofessional customer service today. Least to say we will not be returning for our business meetings.

In an age of economic austerity, crumbling infrastructure, poor schools, etc., this place epitomizes wasted tax dollars and bad government. Its essentially a playground for current and ex-military white personnel. To hell with the rest of us taxpayers. Should be closed down.

Since they have redone the greens, this is one of the better golf bargains in San Diego. $45 for non-military, GPS carts and a good bar scene after golf. They even have Stone IPA on tap!! Only downside is that military courses get a lot of play and sometimes its slow.

I attended an event in one of the conference rooms. The buffet was good, but they kept running out the entree and couldnt bring it out fast enough. Otherwise it was a great venue for a smaller event (around 100 people).

I used to love playing here. The more i play here the less i like it. Since opening up to the public the non-mil players are rude. The marshells are more worried if i have water then keeping the players moving along.

One of the more reasonable priced golf course for the military. The course was well kept and seeing the sailors having a great time made my wife and I enjoy even more. A great golf couse. 5 stars

No marshals on the course makes for a verrrrrrrry long round. Group in front of us was three holes behind the group in front of them but no marshals to expedite. Good prices but slowwwwwwwwww.

Nice folks here but theyve let the fairways go to pot on the south course. Not sure about the north course. The greens are in good shape but the course needs some TLC.

South Course: Wide fairways, flat, not too hard. North Course, Much more difficult, with narrow fairways, lots of hills and angles, and lots of OBs or Hazards.

My first playing golf ever ..and this golf course was challenging enough to keep me interested, even though I played horribly. Overall I had a great time.

For a reasonable price, can get in a round of golf with short or no notice. North course is nicer but harder than the south.
