Ive been to Adventure Park before. Once in Virginia, excellent service by the way, and this exact location months ago. My recent visit was April 28, 2017 and I love the park but the staffing this time around is horrible! I brought my family there and the girl helping me reserve the tickets/slots rolled her eyes when she got my email wrong. It didnt end there. After that we went to get our harness on. No one helped us or greeted us right away. We got looks from the staff like, "Why are they here?" We were helped after a few minutes but they still didnt greet us. Then the briefing. The girl with the long dark hair wearing a baseball hat was not enthusiastic or friendly. She spoke to us in an angry tone of voice. You can tell she didnt want to be there or like her job at all. Later on when my brother got hurt from jumping at the end of the blue course we went to the cabin where the harnesses were. One employee Ive seen from my previous visit told us we would be helped right away. No one helped us. The other employees were eating their lunch/snacks until I told my brother, "I thought they were going to help us." Someone heard me say that and starting to help. Overall the customer service was horrible. I wouldnt come to this location after this experience. Mind you I was traveling from another state to be there.

I went today with my camp- the ymca. I had a great time, other than a few events that ruined my experience. 1. You are required to do SEVERAL. Other courses before u do, the black diamond, or double black diamond. which I do not like , especially since I have been here previously. 2. bees, bees, and more bees. bees are everywhere in this park- if u are allergic don’t bother coming, if u do come and ur allergic, keep ur Epi pen on u at ALL times. 3. me and my friends. Decided to go on double black diamond, one obstacle scared me a bit, so my friend pushed me and had me zip line across it. I didn’t cheat on any other obstacles. But other friends of mine did, (mostly the boys cheated.) but when we got the the halfway- where u climb up. a staff worker told me and my friend who is a girl, that we couldn’t continue because we didn’t have enough body strength. exact words. but she let my friends who are boys continue. this made me and my friend very very angry. I do believe that this lady was being sexiest- as in boys have more strength then us girls. I will not ever return here. and side note - she told me and my friend we had to come down or else. we didn’t. We stood on the platform and made a scene saying we don’t have enough body strength to get down the ladder she wanted me to. oh well.

This place is decent for what it is except that its too pricey. They should consider family pricing and/or do more promotions to give people a chance for discounts. Better yet they could charge per hour like bowling ($10/hr would be reasonable). Some zip line only courses would also make it more fun. I paid $103 w tax for myself and my 7 yo; my wife watched otherwise it would have been $160. My daughter did 4 courses in 2hrs, I did 6 in 3hrs, the last two on courses my daughter wouldnt have been allowed on (blue & black). For an adult in decent shape and not afraid of heights, only the black courses will be interesting. I think hiking, biking or swimming has more fun factor for kids but if you get tired of those and your kid enjoys rope courses, this is an OK 4th option (if youre not sure whether your kid will like it I dont recommend you start here, price is too high, try Palisades Mall or some smaller indoor courses first). Its not someplace I would pick for myself or for adults by themselves. And if you want to come here to get over your fear of heights youll just be holding up the people behind you causing irritation all around. Go hike a hill instead.

I went with a huge group of people, and even though I had to wait 20 minutes to get in a harness, it was so much fun! The staff is very helpful and friendly. The safety briefings before you go on are simple but effective ways to keep you safe and having fun. The beginners course is easy with a few challenges but fun. I then went on the blue "Waterfall" course. The elements are difficult but the ziplining part makes up for it. The challenges are difficult, but you feel great after you complete them. I was terrified to zipline off the 30ft platform at first, but it was the best part of the course! You feel weightless for about 4 seconds, but then you can feel the harness pull you up and it is the best sensation, flying! I want to go again soon, this was definitely a great experience I would recommend to many people. One of the people I went with was terrified of heights, but she had the most fun in the end. So even if youre scared, go, the safety features on the course is amazing and the staff can help you if you get stuck.

We celebrated my sons 9th birthday here and the kids had a blast. They have courses for every age and their unique locking system means that no one can ever be unattached from the safety lines while doing the courses. You can let the kids go alone and be comfortable with the fact that they are always safely secured. It was a chilly day but the kids didnt seem to mind and my son had a memorable party. I would definitely like to come back in the warmer months and try it with my children. They also have night climbing/zip lining that looks really fun.

Went with whole family (kids 13, 7 & 5). Good organization and security measure allow even for the small ones to have fun.Offer lots of challenges even for the older ones. Wish there were more courses for the 5-6 ones. Restriction here is mostly due to holding lines being too high to reach, not because it is too difficult. Not too busy, but not recommended at peak times. You would spend most of your time waiting behind someone. On the whole fun time and good for building confidence

Great fun for the whole family! Tackle obstacles high among the trees while connected via a safety harness system. Really works youre muscles. My legs are sore for days afterwards. Great for fostering confidence in kids! My kids always beg to go! Expensive, but worth it, I think.

Amazing courses for kids and adults. we did one yellow, one green and one blue and i had a lot of trouble due to my height with some of the obstacles. so if you are short, be ready to get bruised up in your armpits.

This place is awesome! It is like crossfit in the sky. The pass you get is for three hours which I thought would be to short, but I was exhausted at the end. Save some energy for the black diamond courses.
