Today this theater gets a bashing from me. The theater itself is great! The manager who lied to me....oh nope! I am so angry about this. Recently my 10 year old and his friend went to see Angry Birds. I didnt stay for this movie but I got them through the line, tickets, and goodies. The digital screen outside of the theater said - Angry Birds 12:30. I directed the boys to the theater based on this. Well folks! I was wrong! There was a mix up with the digital screens and the boys went to Neighbors 2. After about 10 mins into the movie they and a few other people realized Angry Birds was never going to come on. When I picked up my boys as we talked about the movie they mentioned the incident. I of course went...crap! what did they end up seeing. I havent seen Neighbors 2 - I saw 1 so I can imagine it could be very bad. I called the theater and spoke to the manager and explained what happened. First she ticked me off when she said - their ticket stubs had the right theater listed thats what they should have gone by. Ok seriously?? Any normal person is going to see the sign that says your movie is in here at the time you bought your ticket for and go into that theater. Next - she started laughing when I told her I had to explain this to another childs mother. WTH are you kidding me lady. Finally when I told her I had not seen the movie and asked if she could tell me about the first 20 mins or so she said - I just screened it yesterday, absolutely nothing for you to worry about. No nakedness or F bombs at all. I hung up feeling relieved. Only days later did I find out that there is actually a mild sex scene in the beginning. Oh great!!! The beezy lied to me!! and she was a manager!!! I love this theater and really havent ever had a problem but I am angry by the lack of respect this woman had by lying to me. Shes lucky I didnt write her name down or I would be making a giant scene there and she would be fired! I would make sure of it.

I LOST MY I PHONE IN THE SEAT. Ok no big deal... I left the theater and went home then I noticed that I did not have my phone. I did a search on where my phone was and it tracked it to the theater and it was not moving. I called the theater and let them know my phone was in the seat and asked them to please go grab it before someone else did. They put me on hold for about 10 minutes and then finally came back on and said that they were sorry but someone else was sitting there and the movie had already started. I said I would be there in just a minute to speak with the manager. I did not want some one to walk off with my $600 phone. When I got there I walked right into the movie theater and guess what... NO ONE WAS SITTING IN MY SEAT OR THE SURROUNG 2 SEATS ON EITHER SIDE OF MY SEAT... AND THERE WAS NO MOVIE PLAYING.. ONLY PREVIEWS THAT HAD JUST STARTED. I was so angry that the staff was to lazy to even go check on my missing phone. They straight up lied and were just plane lazy.. They were not even busy as when I walked in they decided to follow me into the theater and ask me to leave as there was a movie playing and I could not disturbed the patrons. I was not disturbing anyone. I was quiet and respectful of the guests trying to watch the PREVIEWS. I ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER AND HE CAME RIGHT OVER, I explained what had happened and he asked the girl that I had spoken to on the phone and the same girl that had followed me into the theater ( you cant miss her as her black Eye liner makes her look like a raccoon) if the PREVIEWS were still playing and she knew she was busted for lying then. The manager took me in there and retrieved my phone in less than a minute. I HATE LIERS !!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! Except for the manager.

I would rate this theater 4 stars, simply because it has such comfy leather recliner seats, and they do not keep the place as cold as a meat locker. However, what I learned tonight about the policies here have left me a bit sickened. I came to see "Girl Gone". Now, if anyone has seen that movie, you would know that there are some pretty disturbing sex and graphic violence scenes in it. I am not a young woman, so I have seen my share of gross out movie scenes. But I was pretty disturbed after watching this movie. As the theater was clearing out, theres a family there, with their 8 year old daughter walking out of the movie I just saw. I was outraged that idiot parents would subject their young daughter to something like this. How is a child, no matter how jaded by modern life, supposed to process the images and words contained in that movie? And why would a parent even take her to it? Do they think its entertainment? So I asked the security officer at the theater how a child can be allowed to watch this movie that is rated R, but IMO should have been rated more like a soft-X. He said that the theater policy is that kids cannot come to R movies after 6:00 pm, but are allowed before 6:00 pm. Ive heard a lot of idiotic things in my life, and this is one of them. So, does a child somehow morph into something different after 6:00 pm. Do they more easily assimilate death, sex, violence, and hateful words if it is before the magic hour of 6:00 pm? I am still somewhat sickened by these idiot parents and the movie theater that cannot find their balls and enforce the R rating as it should be enforced. I will not go to this theater again for this reason. There are not many things that I am fanatic about but rotten parenting is one of them.

This theater has the most comfortable seats around. Throw in the fact they have reserved seating and its one of the best around hands down. Reserved seating means no more long lines to be seated before premiers or midnight showings. No more having to show up 40 minutes before movie starts to sit with your family or friends. For those complaining about it, you had to know about it before you bought your tickets because they let you know when you chose your seat wether its on fandango or at the theater. Concession prices are expensive but, most theaters are. I know quite a few people who drive out of their way to experience a movie at this location. As someone with back problems I find its the best way to sit down for two hours watch a good movie and not be in pain when I leave. Overall if you wanna enjoy a movie in the luxury of lazy boy like power recliners and not have to worry about getting split up or have some one in your seat this is the place.

Recliners and assigned seats, but call and ask to make sure youre cozied together with your companion, the seats are grouped in twos. You generally get a higher caliber audience- not guffawing or talking over the movie because of the prices, but it is in lakewood so then again you might deal with rowdy trash. The theater is old and in desperate need of a remodel, the staff does not seem to care at all, judging by the condition of the place. The concession stand gives you your popcorn and candy and cup, the soda fountain is one of the custom mix machines, of which there are several so the lines go quickly. The displays are small and grainy, the audio technology is pretty outdated and rattles like a 1991 ford fiesta. The only benefit of this theater is the recliners and if thats your selling point wait for the dvd.
