Use to be a great theater before the owner passed away (just a few months ago). Use to be double features and two people could go for about $10.00 not counting food and drinks; plus they offered a senior / military discount to top off their great prices. The only issue with this theater is its parking. Now their down to one movie with two show times and their prices have almost doubled. With this new management it would not surprise me to see this theater go out of business by the end of the year. I gave this theater 3 stars because of what it has become; just another corporatized theater. The former owner is probably rolling in his grave.

Movies you can afford! This place is amazing. Ticket prices are unbeatable and the difference between other theaters 3D in the area and the Columbias is infinitely noticeable, it is so better. The chairs are so comfortable it is like being in a recliner at home. Concessions are not only much cheaper but offer more options than other theaters. I love the fact this theater is a historical place still being used today and would hate to see it ever close its doors so we go every chance we get!

Its a very beautiful old-fashion style theater, though at times it feels a bit decrepit. The actual theater is very good - digital projector, the whole deal. You also get a wider variety of snack options than most theaters, at a more fair price. That being said, the fact that it is only a one-screen theater does mean that it wont frequently have the latest releases. Additional tip - on some weekdays, they will do a $5 ticket night - a great deal.

Never seems to be pdx crowded, way cheaper and relatively updated projection in a nostalgic setting. Where else but small town can you see Gaurdians with 8 people total in theatre, get out and in the middle of the street at 11:45pm see two Rockets scampering around. Way kewl.

They have done a great job cleaning up the theatre and the new sound and visual system is awesome! Love that tickets are only $4.00 for 2 movies, great deal for those on a budget and families. Thank you for bringing the love back to the Theatre!

I love this theatre for its small town vintage simplicity. And the deals that they offer to students and their families thru the local elementary schools. 7 movies for the whole family for 7 dollars. unbeatable. Great community business!

Cheapest tickets and concessions of any theater I have been to. The seats are comfortable. They may not always have the latest movies, and they can only show one at a time, but the quality is as good as any major chain theater.

Nostalgic, turn-of-the-20th-century theater with all the latest technology. Comfortable seating, balcony, ice cream and great food. Prices are the best in Columbia County. This is by far my most favorite place to watch movies.

Tickets are cheapest in the area and the concessions are reasonable too. The upgrades to the projectors, screen and sound system make this place a real gem!
