The chairs are very comfortable. That is all I can say that was good. Oh yeah, the movie did not skip or anything. Beyond that, this was a huge disappointment. We spent more than $20 per ticket to see the 3d showing of a movie last night and planned to eat at the theater. The online menu looked appealing. Mistake. First, there is no table service. You order food at a counter upon arrival and it is delivered to your seat later. OK, fine. If you want beer or wine or some other cocktail, you have to go to the bar at the opposite end of the theater and carry it up yourself. There was no one at the bar and two people behind the counter. Even so, they were busy speaking to each other and ignored us. One left the counter and the other went to the back room next to the bar, emerging after about 30 seconds with some kind of box. He then looked past us to his colleague and actually shouted something to him. At no point did anyone make eye contact. He then went back to the storeroom and was there for about a minute. We asked "is the bar open" and he said "yes" but did not come out to serve us. A full minute later, his colleague returned and immediately went back into the storeroom. We asked again if it was open and the second guy finally looked at us and asked us what we wanted. Ugh. We bought two glasses of wine and two cups of ice water. No beverage carriers were provided, so we went with loaded hands to find the right theater. Wish we had looked at our ticket stubs, but we had full hands and figured that someone could tell us where to go. First staffer we saw mumbled something and started walking away. We said, "it is OK to tell us you dont know, but please dont just leave us here." He said to look at our tickets. Come on. We found the theater and our seats. After a few minutes our food began to arrive. (1) avocado crab sushi roll - smelled funny. My wife took a bite and said, sorry, I just dont care for it. I ate one and the rice was very hard - maybe prepared the day before? Sloppy presentation and not that tasty, so we set it aside. Then they delivered our "caprese flatbread." This turned out to be a basic cheese pizza where the wedges were re-arranged into a long shape and packed into a box. When delivered, the box was dirty and the contents all sloshed to one side. I showed a staffer and he apologized and told me someone probably dropped the box. Wow. They brought us a new one. If you like cheese pizza it is probably fine, but dont expect flatbread. the salad was fine, if a bit overdressed. One final annoyance - if you recline the comfortable seats, a low glass barrier in front of you obscures the bottom third of the screen. Ugh. We will not be returning to this theater. Boooo.

1st movie I saw at AMC North Point was in the AMC Prime theater. Absolutely Perfect. Black recliners with controls for the seat. Elevated seat sections with walls behind and in front of you, so you couldnt see the people in front or be bothered by the people behind you and had a perfect view of the screen, not matter what row you were in. Theater was clean, staff friendly. After the AMC Prime experience, everything about the theater was a COMPLETE letdown on future visits. All the other theaters at this AMC, including the IMAX one, had the current theater layout/setup, except for the red smushy "manual" recliners. Those seats were close together so you felt cramped. WORST part was that if you werent reclined and just sitting, the seats would rock back and forth as they didnt have proper support. We sat behind these people that kept rocking. We couldnt pay attention to the movie and we left. Exchanged tickets for a later show that wasnt in IMAX, in what shouldve been the standard theater, and that was worse. Very small, compact. 3 rows on the floor, 3 upper, and the screen, I kid you not, was like a 80-90" led screen almost. We got a refund and left. Outside of the reserved seating, which is overall, a great addition, unless the movie is shown in AMC Prime, its not even worth it....but even with that, they might not show the big release in that theater, until the week after. Overall, AMC North Point had such amazing promise but sadly, is very disappointing.

Decided to try out some of the newer menu options. The cashier was a bit rattled. We had a coupon for a free meal, which he used, but forgot to use the $5 AMC stubs bucks we had too. When I questioned him about the total and if he used the rewards, he just said "oh, thats b/c of the tax". umm, I dont think so. The line was growing, so we paid, looked at the bill and pointed out to him that he did not take the $5 off. "Oh, I must have forgot. Is that ok?" My husband said "no, I can wait". However, the poor guy was so flustered, he said he would send $5 out with our food. We agreed since the movie was starting. Weve been to this theater before, but had never ordered from the full menu- just popcorn. We assumed the theater had added tables for dining. Nope. The server brought out our burger in a tiny to go container, which we had to hold on our laps. The fryer had been broken, so instead of fries they offered the pretzel bites. We had to remind the server, who brought them out with about 20 minutes left in the show. So, my rant is lack of organization with the cashiers, lack of attendance to drinks machines (all were out of ice!), tardiness of food and no where to put it and we threw out half of the popcorn b/c it was burnt! The burger was cooked well and tasted good, on a positive note! I will probably be back, but will stick to popcorn.

I had a terrible expierience at this movie theater. The staff treated my friends and I like absolute crap. I was appalled by the actions taken against us and will make sure never to return. I went in trying to watch an R rated movie. We are all clearly 17 but 2 of us had forgotten IDS. after we got into the movies we were abruptly followed into the bathrooms by a worker asking for all of our IDS. We tried to explain our current predicament and were given no sympathy. I wish I could post pictures on this so everyone could clearly see how easy it is to tell our age. So we were pulled out of the bathrooms quickly and told to leave immediately. At first, this worker denied giving us a refund. We had to beg for these refunds and were immediately removed from the theater.
