Well, Id like to start this review by bringing some credibility. I won about $100 on the boat when I went a few days ago. I was relatively happy, but Ill still probably never go back. The service on this boat and the process of traveling to and from the casino as asinine; you MIGHT spend half your cruise actually gambling... If youre lucky. If you go on the evening cruise, you are going to spend the first hour (or more) on a shuttle boat taking you to the "real" casino. They claim it takes 30-40 mins, but each trip took us at least 75 minutes, both ways. If you do the math, you spend about 2-2.5 hours of your 4-5 hour cruise just heading to the boat and waiting in line. The waitstaff and bartenders I dealt with were atrocious. I normally tip VERY, but couldnt make myself leave them a dime. Rude. Condescending. Slow. The guy who waits on you at the second floor galley should be fired. Good luck trying to find a manager to complain to. The guy stood there filling drinks for a waitress while my wife stood in front of him and watched the burgers get cold. This was after we sat at the bar for 15 minutes waiting to be acknowledged by the three employees behind the bar. Hell, we watched a waitress mix a beer with half Natural Light and half Bud Select, THEN SIP IT TO MAKE SURE THE CUSTOMER WOULDNT BE ABLE TO TELL. Although the service wasnt quite as bad at the cashier and with dealing with the attendants, none of the employees seemed to appreciate that people were spending hundreds of dollars in the casino. I like to feel appreciated and pampered when I walk into a casino with a fat wallet and a beer buzz. On that note, if you dont like well liquor, Natty Light, or Bud Select, eat (and pre-game) before you get here. Theres no food the first hour and only non-alcoholic drinks on the "shuttle." The dealers and pit bosses were a pleasure. Ive never gambled at tables in such a relaxed environment. The payouts on the tables are better than any of the other casinos in Florida. Some machines are old. Some machines are less old. If you play machines and you are used to the new ticket machines at all the good casinos so you dont have to wait an hour to get your $100 in nickels, dont come here. If you win, youre going to have to wait for tokens to drop. Then the hopper runs out and you have to wait for an attendant. This happened to me every time I won more than $20 at a machine. And when it was time to cross the two-mile line, there was no warning; staff simply yelled to cash-out, without a few minutes of a warning. This caused a mad rush to the cashier, which added about another half hour to our standing in line. Overall, this could be an awesome business, but the service end needs to be overhauled. I was excited to get on a SunCruz boat, but it was easy to see why the company is going out of business. Bottom line: you pay 8 bucks for a few hour cruise, a small, free "meal," free soft drinks, free booze while youre playing, and the ability to put your hard-earned money into a slot machine. If you are a professional gambler, stay away. If youre in the area and you want to kill a few hours, 8 bucks isnt a bad price (no wonder they cant hire personable bartenders, though.) Youre probably better off going deep sea fishing and catching a nightcap on the way in.

My grandmother and sister came into town 2 weeks ago and I figured they would really enjoy the casino. MAN WAS I WRONG! The shuttle took forever to get us to the "casino" boat. The employees talked very loudly about things that were rude all the way out there. When we got to what looked like a small fishing boat or pontoon and came aboard my mouth dropped! The inside looked like a 1970s bowling alley. You could stand in one place and see the whole floor. It was hot and half of the machines didnt work....half of about 50 slots! We went on the first cruise out and there almost wasnt enough machines for everyone to play. I couldnt imagine going at night or on a weekend. It smelled. There is one bathroom on the bottom floor (that is the only thing on the bottom floor) and the stairs are very narrow. My grandmother had a very hard time getting up and down these steps. The seats are cheep bar stools, with no backs that sit high off the floor. I am 6 foot tall and I could not put my foot flat on the floor! If you go up stairs, there is a grand total of 5 gaming tables but only one or two of them will be open. The boat is not anchored and rocks terribly as it seems to go in circles. The staff is no where to be found when you need them. They will stand and talk among themselves before lifting a finger to help you. If you order food and want to sit down to eat you must go to the 3rd floor and if you you can find a place to sit, you can get sea sick while rocking and trying to eat. Dont need to use the atm, it will be down more that it works. Dont think your getting a full bar, cheep liquor, watered down drinks and bad service is all you will receive. I will never return to this boat....EVER! I was so upset that I wasted a whole day with my family to ride this piss poor excuse of a boat!

On Wednesday October 29th I went on the 11:00 am. gambling cruise. The trip out to the gambling boat was enjoyable as we got to see turtles, sting rays and a dolphin on the way out. Once we boarded the ship for gambling it was a different story- about 5 or 10 minutes after we started gambling a gentleman won $4000.00. He went up and collected his winnings and the cashier (Desiree ) after paying him and he walked away started to complain to everyone around that he did not tip her :( I also asked Desiree what the jackpot sign on the wall was for and she told me (its the jackpot) Once again I asked her what it was for and she repeated herself, I asked how do you win it and she said You Dont Win It thats how much everyone else has won for the day. Great people skills. I also lost money in the machines - it took my money and did not give me credit for it. I asked 3 different employees and got the run around, They told me they would send someone and did not, finally I found Alex and he didnt seem to care. He was one of the people that had the ability to help and did not. When the other boat came back to get us the employees opened the side doors to dock with the new passengers that were coming aboard and (Alex) thought it would be fun to flash the boat by giving someone the finger. I called the office on Friday morning to report these things and spoke to someone who didnt care about any of it !!! What a way to run a boat !!! I hear you are getting a new boat and just want to say good luck youre going to need it. Heidi Nowers
