I realize this theater keeps the mall alive in Oviedo but the staff and management are going to kill it. I am single mom and take my 4 kids to see all the G rated movies here (thats $45 in tickets to see one movie). I do occasionally go by myself to see movies that are not appropriate for them. Tonight, since my kids are away, I went to see a double feature, Silver Linings Playbook and then The Hobbit. I bought both tickets prior to the movies downstairs. Due to the amount of times I come to this theater one of the movie tickets was free. After the first movie I went back to the girl at the top of the stairs and had my second ticket ripped. On my way to the second movie, Rohan- who says hes a manager, stopped me in the crowded hallway. I asked what he wanted and he said he needed to see my ticket stub because his manager saw me walk up the stairs without a ticket. I told him I never took the stairs and he continued that he needed to see my ticket, blocking my way. A huge group of people behind him turned to watch the scene. I had to put down my bags (from my mall purchases) and search through my purse for the ticket I had bought. I found it and showed him both ticket stubs and all he said thats good enough and walks away. If I wanted to try to steal into a movie without paying why would I have bags, huge UGG boots and a neon blue scarf? He could have simply asked to speak with me by pulling me out of the middle of the hallway and state that there have been people gaining access to movies without a ticket. I would have gladly showed him my ticket. After the movie I saw him talking near the entrance, I asked if he thought what he did was appropriate? He said he was doing his job and just asked to see my ticket. I asked him if it was appropriate to do so infront of a group of people like I am some type of criminal. Again her repeated he just asked to see my ticket. No apology, no care what so ever that I was unhappy. I used to host movie days for all area businesses that support my business to help this theater and this mall. I will never do this again. I buy water there for $8.75 since I do not drink soda and do this in hopes of helping this theater- I had the water and a popcorn in my hand but I am still accused of not buying a ticket. The theaters are big, but empty- maybe someone should start figuring out that it is not the theater but the staff and their lack of common sense social skills.

I dont usually go to this Regal Cinema as I usually go to the one in Waterford Lakes but I figured since this one was closer to where I was I thought, why not? Oh there are many reasons why not to come here. First off, the woman at the ticket booth wasnt the friendliest. You could tell she hated her job. But I brushed it off because she wasnt rude, just not friendly. Secondly, as my wife and I stood in line at the concession stand, an older white* couple followed and stood next to us, not behind us, next to us. Seeing as we were standing there first, we thought it was obvious to the employees and the old white people that we were next. The employee, Alex, some young white male, looked at us and called over next in line. I took a step forward and the old white people cut me off. Alex, the white employee saw this and simply said nothing. He let this old white couple cut us completely. So I looked at him and said, "Hey, we were next." He made eye contact with us and completely ignored my wife and I. A simple, "Im sorry I didnt see you guys there Ill take you next." Wouldve made the difference. But nope, we got nothing. That was probably the worst part of the whole experience, being treated like devalued humans. But sadly, that wasnt the end of it. As the movie started, the lights never dimmed in the theater. The light were on throughout the ENTIRE movie. I know, unbelievable. So seeing as I was already having a terrible experience, I thought Id get up and find someone to turn the lights off. There was no one that could come help because they were either working behind the concession stand or ripping ticket stubs. Are you serious? The theaters should be your primary concern seeing as youre a MOVIE THEATER. This was probably the worst movie theater experience Ive ever had and my wife an I are avid movie goers. My recommendation, do yourself a favor and drive a little further and go to the one in Waterford Lakes. That one is 10x better than this dump.

Have been visiting this theatre almost every Friday with a friend for over 2 years. Sadly seeing that it is not being managed well and is running down. Last week when I went I bought a Mr. Pibb, the soda machine for Pibb was messed up with no carbonation tasted awful. The girl apologized and offered another but there was no other that I care for, took a cherry coke as replacement but just could not drink it. So today when I went to the movie with a friend, requested comp for the soda problem. Waited and waited for manager, (needed to get on inside theater) finally gets there as girl as counter could not handle this. She says, we dont know what day that was, and where is your receipt? I paid cash last week FRIDAY and usual and credit card for today. She stated they give a receipt for cash, IF YOU ASK FOR IT. She acted like she did not know me, when we speak to her from time to time, hi, how are you doing etc. How can she not recognize me? She has worked ticket counter at times, and proceeded to infer that I was just making this up. Says, "no one else complained". The girl at counter last week told me they were out of carbonation on Phibb, but apparently this manager does not know what is going on. Okay so thats $23 I spend every Friday, which equates to $98, not to include my friends cost. I informed her I would not be coming back ever, from which she mumbled something and shrugged. It may be that she has dementia, or so it seemed. Now how much does it cost to replace a VIP regular customer in advertising and marketing as opposed to retaining a customer? Truly some people should be sent to Manager Course Training in how to retain business, treat customers and learn how to calculate a soda that cost them maybe a 1.00, which cost me 5.19 is not worth losing $98 ++ per month! The $5.19 is really nothing much, but the attitude is everything. Never going back here, there are other theaters with cordial pleasant educated employees.

Go somewhere else, they screw up audio and focus (in different films days apart!) and dont care about the customer experience. The screens are small and the seats probably a decade old at least, including multiple broken ones. First off, Im a big Regal Cinemas attendee, Ive got thousands od points on my 15+ year old Regal Rewards card, but this is a joke of a Regal Cinemas. They screwed up 2 movies in a row for us now. First they got the sound wrong on a film a few weeks ago, took 10 minutes to fix it even though they were notified right at the beginning of the film and they didnt bother restarting the film. Now today they get focus completely wrong on a 3D film and took at least 15 minutes to correct the focus - and since its Assassins Creed that first portion has a lot of subtitles that nobody could possibly read and could barely even make out what was happening on the screen anyway. So, despite being told by several people for the first portion of the film that there was a problem, it wasnt fixed until around 15 minutes in and they again didnt bother restarting the film for the benefit the audience. I walked out rather than have the film ruined for me since Im a big AC fan. Two films in_a_row they ruined our experience for - why pay $15 for their 3D ticket if they cant get it right and refused to restart the film when they get it wrong? Spend your money somewhere else, there are much better Regal Cinemas around Orlando than this one. The reason they deserve at least one star instead of a half-star is because they at least give you your money back when they screw up, which is now twice for this single customer alone. When your sample size of 1 is reporting multiple failures occurring on separate days, youve got a problem.
