Weve been coming to this theater over that past 3+ years and this is probably our favorite theater in Austin. We dont watch XD or 3D. We dont get concessions. Weve just here to watch a standard movie. For that, Tinseltown has a well-rounded package for a nice movie experience: abundant parking spaces, clean bathrooms, slightly cheaper tickets, and most importantly, comfy cushy reclining seats! Unless were going for some specific show time or in a time crunch, we usually dont mind driving a little north just to come here. The Regals and the AMCs (ones that were used to going in other cities) in town are just not up to par. Also, Im pretty sure they did some kind of remodeling over the past few years. The seats all look relative new and well-maintained. Weve never sat on a squeaky one before. Or maybe we just got lucky every single time and got the nicer rooms. Either way, if you want a standard, stress-free movie experience, Tinseltown is a safe pick. If you want bells and whistles, then maybe Alamo or iPic might be a better choice.

Saw Dunkirk. Projectionist started early, movie actually started at 10:30am with no delay for previews. Tell manager. He argues time dilation. Amateurs. Wont refund, asks me to watch the beginning now at the end. Amateurs. How can a movie with a runtime of 96 minutes be at credits 94 minutes after showtime? Supposedly 8 minutes of previews exactly, so 10 minutes of 96 minute runtime is credits? Or maybe, just maybe instead of arguing with a customer you could just talk to the projectionist and see what happened. We all expect 15 minutes of previews, if youre going to shorten that substantially, maybe you should start the previews a couple of minutes late. Or at least not early. Ya know, to not piss off your customers. Nice work spoiling the magic.

I went to go see boss baby with 2 of my friends. I tried out the D box for the first time and it wouldve been $70 if I didnt have passes. I havent been here in years. I had a manager help me find our seats since they were reserved. Once we found the seats, a family of 4 took our seats and would not move even tho it was reserved by us. It got worse when he was yelling and disturbing everyone. We had to get security for them to finally leave but it wasnt necessary. The managers/employees were super kinda and even tho that happened, Id still come back because how they helped me and how we were first priority. Rude customers happen but having it escalate into having security wasnt needed.

Do not purchase print at home or mobile tickets from fandango for this location unless you have sufficient time to reprint them at the kiosk when you arrive. This location does not accept print at home or mobile tickets, so not sure why fandango offers a service that Cinemark will not provide. Arrived to see Avengers on Saturday, sold out show, doors opened at 930 movie started at 945 am. The 50 people that arrived with print at home tickets were denied entry and were required to stand in line at the only available kiosk to reprint the ticket. These folks ended up being late into the movie.

Came in to see the new movie Annabel, when I asked for three tickets I was told I needed to show an ID, I didnt have one for my younger sibling, but I stated the fact that I am a legal guardian. The woman at the box office really asked for court documents showing that I was an actual legal guardian, then proceeded to lie to my face telling me that if I did not have court documents that the state issued IDs of legal guardianship, never heard lf that before??? Am I really supposed to carry around Documents with sensitive information stating what and who I am? Unprofessional !!

Visiting from out of state and decided to watch a couple of movies. I havent visited any of the other theaters in the area. This Cinemark was nice and I enjoyed your XD screen. Seating was comfortable, popcorn was popcorn and the speakers were loud. Everything was what Ive come to expect from Cinemark, except... why isnt there reserved seating? Every Cinemark in Utah has had it for years and years. I was expecting the same level from this Cinemark, but it just wasnt there yet. Weve jumped back to the twentieth century here. You need to step up your game.

What can I really say besides it is a standard movie theater. The food and drinks are way over priced and the theaters I have been in have been very small with a small screen. I did see interstellar in the Imax theater, but again from the little shakes and booms and enhanced sound I was still not so impressed. The Imax I am used to is the one overhead where you can see all around you and feel like you are a part of the experience. The only thing different about the experience here was that the screen was a little larger and the sound was higher.

So they say and promote their luxury loungers, which are nice if they are in your theater. If they arent then you pay the same and get seats with no covering and no padding. I tried to talk to a manager and he could not answer any of my questions. Just said that they will eventually have all luxury loungers. That doesnt change that I paid more than I would have at our favorite theater and have an uncomfortable seat. The snack bar has a lot of options and the lines mover quickly so I am giving it three stars.

I was in theater 16 watching The Witch with my husband I didnt understand the movie so I got on my phone instead. I noticed something was moving on the floor near the stair lights & it was a mice eating the popcorn off the floor i am super scared of mice & rats so I told my husband that I wanted leave so we did. I am very disappointed knowing that this very nice theater has mice I wont be back hopefully they fix this soon before other customers experience what I experienced.

Was here Sept 2012. The place looked very clean and staff was very friendly. However, while at the consession stand a roach crawled across the cash register monitor. When I told the gentleman who brought me my popcorn he just shrugged his shoulders and looked at me very blankly. Didnt even offer an apology. Needless to say I couldnt eat my popcorn and found it very hard to focus on the movie becuase I was afraid of what might be crawling under my feet in the dark.

Very dirty and poorly maintained facilities. Generally overrun with unsupervised kids, teenagers, and hood rats that prefer to talk and run in/out of the theater than actually watch the movie. Ive had multiple, poor experiences at this theater. The cleanliness can probably be overlooked (maybe just a few "off" nights), but the " teen scene" that takes over on Fri-Sat nights is enough to make me never go back. Opt for Drafthouse or Flix instead.

If you like watching movies with people who are prone to shouting at the movie screen every five minutes, then Tinseltown Pflugerville is FOR YOU! Do you like sitting with strangers who are eager to tell you what they think about the movie as it is playing? Wow, then Tinseltown Pflugerville is FOR YOU! There are more red-necks and other undesirables just waiting to help you enjoy your movie here! GREAT FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!!!
