Small greens in the middle of the city that affords some of the most spectacular cityscape views. This is a great place for an afternoon lunch. So, grab your favorite take-out from your nearby favorite eatery. Tip: This park would serve as a great date meeting place. Its not too public and its not too private.

Lovely little gem of a park hidden in downtown, but be warned--there are NO BATHROOMS avaliable for the public. Apparently, since its technically a private park, one open to the public but private nonetheless, there are no public restrooms. The closest one is at the Ralphs down the street.

A great park for almost anything besides team sports. Shaded tables for eating lunch. Numerous shady benches. Some open space for running about or tossing a ball or something. Some stuff for kids to climb on but nothing too big. Can be a bit busy at lunch but is rarely crowded.

Great little playground for the kids, because its got a fence, so they cant run out into traffic. And the whole park has security guards keeping an eye out, so...no bums doin their bum things! Also, very well kept, pretty grass, pretty trees, nice normal, safe people.

A great little park that is centrally located next to FIDM. It provides plenty of shade. Interesting lawn art and a play area for kids. It is always supervised and police frequent the area for breakfast, lunch and diner. Restrooms could use improvement.

What an adorable little park right next to FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Manufacturing). Definitely geared towards young children, with the playground, but plenty of soft grassy knolls for the rest of us.

This park does not allow dogs, even though most of the people who live in the area have dogs. If my 8 pound buddy can live in my nice apartment and not hurt anything, I think hed be okay at an open grassy park.

Fidm students might hang out here during class breaks. In the mornings the playground is a gym. Its nice and quiet if you dont have any rude drivers passing by.
