Saw 9:10pm showing of Jurassic World on 7/15/15. Stood on line for 10 solid minutes to try and purchase a bottle of water. Only 3 people ahead of me. The line never moved and I decided to forget it. As for the theater, visiting from out of town reminds me that I never want to move back to this city. Some self important twit there with his family in the row in front of me kept on texting someone during the movie and randomly kept switching on a bright light on his smart phone because apparently, it is too difficult to guide your hand into a bag of candy in the dark or some such nonsense. To boot, their child kept rocking back and forth in the seat like it was a ride. The motion was distracting. I guess since the parent had no manners, he didnt bother to teach the child any either. After enough of that. I ushered my friend to move back a row and problem solved. Nope, people in the row behind us which was also the last row decided that going to the movies was for having random conversations throughout. My friend requested they please be quiet and although it helped some, they decided they just couldnt halt their discussion in between action sequences. Too bad they didnt stay home and watch nickelodeon. It seems their attention span was much more attuned to that than any dialogue in this film. Rude, selfish and no manners all around. So much for all the signs and prompts for courtesy before the movie. Oh well.

The screening rooms at this cinema are great! However, there is one major issue that takes away from the experience. For instance, if you order tickets online for this theater, you can reserve your seats in advance. The problem is that there is no way to know which seats are reserved our not of you didnt order tickets online; there are no reserved signs placed on reserved seats. The result is that walk up patrons end up sitting in reserved seats causing conflicts between ticket holders who reserved seats, and those who didnt. Eventually, Regal staff has to intervene and resolve these disputes over seats. On my last visit, this resolving of disputes was still happening 10 minutes into the movie and was very disruptive and distracting. If they close reservations at a set time before the a movie behind and place reserved signs on reserved seats, this whole problem can be avoided. I like the idea of reserved seating, but the implementation here is lacking. Hopefully they get it right.

Well, the theater was nice but Id definitely avoid this place in the future. The parking garage was one of the most aggravating experiences Ive had in a long time. They only accept credit cards at random kiosks (not on every floor), and theres no option to pay at the lot exit so you have to wait for whole lines of cars to reverse as they discover this. The no-credit kiosks you do find dont take 20 dollar bills! To add insult to injury they charge you nearly the cost of a movie ticket to park your car for the length of a movie, and I havent seen that anywhere else. So...they overcharge for a confusing and poorly run parking garage, one without any visible attendants and no one to answer the intercom. Oh yeah, and imagine how bad this gets when you have multiple movies letting out at the same time. AVOID. Nice mall, but needs a new garage contractor, until then, walk.

Theatre manager, Joanna went out of her way to help with a Crown Card Loyalty program issue. I spoke with her briefly about my situation and I found her to be polite and empathetic. Before speaking with her I was feeling like Regal may be taking advantage of their customers who use the Crown Card; however, Joanna left me feeling like Regal really cares about their customers. The mark of a true customer service is an ultimate desire to create a genuine solution for customers. Customer service is alive and well right here in Queens, NY at Regal Cinemas Atlas Park 8. Getting audiences to walk into movie theaters these days, is more difficult than ever before. Than you for making me feel like my patronage matters.

Every time I come to this place the movie never starts on time and if it does, the 3D is always out of focus. This is the 5th time this has happened to me. Im publishing this now waiting for Iron Man 3 to start. Its been 9 minutes and Im just here with a blank screen. Hell, a couple already left. It shouldnt have to take people complaining for the screen to turn on for the movie to start. UPDATE: After ten minutes were off! Its always like this. ALWAYS.

Good movie theatre. Only complaint was the lack of staff on the Concessions counter. Waited in queue for 30 minutes. The 3 girls behind the counter moved at a snails pace. Everyone in the queue was getting very impatient, especially parents waiting with small children. Your not allowed to bring your own outside drinks and snacks which is fair enough but at least have counters adequately staffed!!

Movie Cinema? I haven’t been to one I a while. But when the new Logan is out, I decided to go, and decided to go by myself. Why? Never been to the movie theater by myself. So the cinema is good and clean, going to see a movie by myself is pretty cool, and the movie wasn’t that good. I will do that again. Clean, reasonably priced (Unlike some that sure they run an airport), and easy to find parking.

As far as the movie theater goes, its very nice. Wish the tickets werent so expensive but hey, thats how the economy is in this day and age. As far as the things surrounding the theater (parking lot and stores), not so great. The parking lot is annoying. I suggest parking on the street. As far as the shops go, they are useless. There are very few stores anymore.

At johnny rockets..sooo it sucks ..sit waiting for half an hour for our meal. The hostess kept looking at empty seats while people stood at the entrance...some left...this place needs new management...I almost walked out...as we waited so long for our meal. The food was also sloppy..I ordered the rocket dog..worse mistake....I left the diner felling robbed

Consistently slow service at the concession stand. The employees behind the counter move like theyre wading through molasses. Ive waited ten minutes with three people ahead of me in line. If the line is longer than five or six people, forget about it. Three stars because the theaters are consistently clean and the sound is great.
