One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. We were lucky enough to stay in a newly remodeled suite on the second floor. Beautiful and spacious! Our room was immaculate in every aspect and the staff in this hotel is the friendliest most helpful, service directed group of people weve met. Located minutes away from the Hard Rock Casino there is a convenient van/bus service back and forth. While I didnt go I spoke with many guests who did. They complemented the bus schedules frequency to and fro and a great time was had by all. My husband was on a business trip and this hotel with its wifi and front desk assistance is tops for conducting business. The beautiful remodel is eye catching from the moment the front doors open to reveal fine leather furniture and the old farm house charm of a huge conference table equipped with electrical outlets for every single occupant to plug in laptops and phone chargers. The coffee, oh the ever hot 24/7 coffee kiosk........ delicious! I miss the people, the breakfasts and the wonderful gym! Hello EVERYONE at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Tampa Fairgrounds!

Proximity to the Hard Rock Casino is the best thing this hotel has, and the shuttle every hour on the hour was nice and very convenient. Staff was very nice. The room left some things to be desired. Room was clean, but lacked things Id seen at other Fairfields. No fridge. No microwave. Walls were paper thin. Blackout curtains were short and didnt keep the sunlight out in the morning. Air conditioner was loud, and didnt keep to the intended temperature. Shower head wouldnt move without lots of strength feeling like I was going to break it. We only stayed one night for a casino night, but we could hear all the conversation in the next room and the TV in the morning. Housekeeping knocked on the door at 9am, and again at 10:30, even though we were checking out with checkout time of noon. Cant comment about breakfast, it ended at 9:30 on a weekend. Early, but is what it is. Dont know if well stay here again.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly. However, the tv in my room was not working, was offered a move to a new room but was already unpacked and was not ready to repack everything, go downstairs with my luggage just to get a new room. Also, the wifi would not work and when I called down stairs was told my name was misspelled. After waiting for the system to update my name I was finally able to access. Im glad I brought my tablet with me at least I was able to watch netflix. Thank you netflix. So there were mistakes on their part and I cannot fault the entire chain. But for the price I paid I expected a bit more. Upon checking out I spoke with the front desk who seemed to not care about the problems with the room. They did not even address the issue.....

I realized when I was less than a mile from the hotel that I left my charger in my room. I called immediately and ask them to please have someone go get it and I would pick it up when I got out of my meeting. I wouldve turn back around but that wouldve made me late. Sure enough, I show up here and its nowhere to be found and theres nothing they can or will do about it. If it was a five or $10 charger I wouldnt of cared however it was a $30 Duracell dual charger so someone in there cleaning staff is a thief. I will not be back. Oh and the manager wouldnt even come out from sitting inside of her office to speak to me she sat there in the chair the whole time I was dealing with the girl at the counter. Great customer service!

I rarely ever give 5 stars on a review but must say I was very impresses with the hotel and service. Staff are very friendly and helpful especially the GM, Damien. I love Marriott hotels and am a part of their rewards program which if you travel a lot its definitely worth taking advantage of. On my 2nd visit they remembered me and greeTed me by name..wow I was impressed. I was even told that they took the liberty of upgrading my standard room to a suite at no charge...wow!!! They definitely know how to take care of their guests and know the true meaning of customer service...keep up the great job!! Definitely recommend staying here and will be back again.

Stayed here for two nights while on work travel. The hotel definitely seemed to be a little older and the mattresses on the beds were sunken-in but it was functional. The AC in the room worked amazingly and I was always cold until I turned it off. The breakfast was adequate. The staff knew my name when I checked out and the gym was decent with a few machines and free weights. The location is excellent right off I-4 but you may want to ask for a room facing the front of the hotel because you will hear noise from the highway if you are on that side. If youre just looking for a place to rest after a day out this one will do the trick!

THERE WAS A BIG BLACK SNAKE around the pool area. I did take a picture and let management know but nothing was done for days. That is not something I want to see while kids are swimming . Several other guests complained but management did nothing about it. The girls at the front desk were wonderful especially the driver for the shuttle. You sink into the beds and there was stains on the comforter as well as the pillow cases Also the 24/7 coffee offered is awful. I was surprised there was not a mini fridge in the rooms as that is pretty standard now a days.

Room was clean. Service desk was fast and polite. Pool area was clean and functional. Hot tub was hot. Room seemed a little small( 2 double beds) compared to other Fairfields(2 Queen beds) that we stayed at, but maybe this is normal. Price was a con for us and no vending machine to get a soda cheap. Had to buy sodas up at the front desk and price was high. Also, location is next to a major intersection and some noise would come through at times. Nothing horrible. I would recommend this hotel, but we will look for something a little cheaper next time.

Wonderful place to stay and be convenient to Hard Rock Casino (shuttle from hotel runs every hour 9a.m. - 3 a.m.), shopping and YES Blue Bell Creamery. Staff here are friendly, helpful and intent on making our stay memorable. Best continental breakfast ever! Room is immaculate and roomy. Comfortable king size bed. Microwave - fridge - coffee maker- iron - in room. Quiet - even though packed here this weekend didnt hear a thing outside. Not even traffic. You cant go wrong here. :)

Clean hotel. Gave it one star bc i paid for multiple nights IN CASH in advance, and they tried to say I didnt. Basically trying to rob me. If you stay here never use cash. Refused to give me receipt with all the days and amounts I paid, refused to use cameras. Stayed here for over a week and the last day they try this stunt bc they were sold out. They ended up finding my money, after I had to go to front desk and raise hell!
