A night out at this theatre got very expensive for me recently. Over $300 because of their system for parking. If your meter runs out while youre enjoying a movie with family (what I was doing) the tow company waits in the area to gladly tow your vehicle. Youre forced to pay for storage if your car is towed after 6pm because theyre "closed". The theatre staff is pretty nice besides the fact that they try to sell you a membership that takes more than 15 minutes to complete. The theatre was clean and regular service is fast. If you do visit this theatre, keep in mind I know 3 people that have been towed from their lot in the past month while enjoying a night out with the family. Keep a few hundred bucks ready or leave your movie to check your meter frequently. Enjoy.

Went last night hoping for the good experience I had over the summer, but encountered not one, but three instances of extremely rude and ignorant behavior; one of which was almost violent. Dont even try to stand up to this behavior bc they will just harass or instigate a fight with you. Its not worth going back here because you cant reason with people like that, and its a potentially unsafe environment. Which really sucks bc its a nice theater, and I feel sorry for the nice staff who have to deal with this on a daily basis.

Smells, seats are from the 90s, sound system is trash, screens are all small, place is in shambles. Was expecting the reputation of AMC, but got a giant pile of garbage...for the same price. Wheres the nice staff, or non stained seats, or the reclining seats...? These dont even go back...if youre at the middle or closer to the old screen, you have to uncomfortably tilt you head up because no matter how much force you put on the head rest...it wont recline one bit. Never going to AMC again. Ill stick with REGAL.

Saw 2 movies here and one was extremely loud and cropped awkwardly and the second one was extremely loud and had no video at all. We came out 3x to alert the staff and nothing was done and we were all the way into adverts and 10 minutes into the movie - also Stubs members who pay dont get their benefits and the staff wasnt trained enough to know how to credit the rewards - basically the theatre opened too early and their phone number doesnt even work

The interior of this place is pretty ridiculous. If this theater were in a nicer neighborhood there is no way it would be allowed to look like this. It was clear theyre doing renovations but you have to be kidding me with the junk lying around. Very unacceptable. I would not return here again. The plus side is that the reclining seating was pretty nice. Inside the actual theater viewing area was nice. The people working there were nice as well.

The company pressures their employees to spend ridiculous amounts of time pushing memberships that take forever to sign customers up for. I should not be 15 minutes early for the movie, having already purchased my ticket online, and be almost late for the movie because of how hard they have to push Premiere sign-ups. The staff themselves are perfectly fine and courteous. Its the companys membership pushing thats awful and time consuming.

They should have left this movie theater as the Pearl at avenue North.. AMC took over and they are Still under renovation. They shouldnt even be open. Everything is a mess and confusing.. the concession stand is so close to the movie theater so people are in line to buy stuff and other people are trying to get to the movie and people are knocking each other over.. prices are higher and its just ugly in there..

The first time we went the picture was too zoomed in and you couldnt see anyones faces for about 30 minutes of the movie. The second time we went they couldnt get the picture to stay up for more than a few minutes. About 20 minutes in they told us they werent gonna show the movie at all. The third time we went the lights were on the whole time. When we told the staff multiple times, they didnt seem to care.

I went here for the LAST time about a year ago and all I could think the whole time was "I WISH THEY HAD BODY SANITIZING EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE!"...lol... And the prices were just super super high. It made no sense so I cant imagine what its like now. Maybe in the near future a friend will tell me they recently went there and how its so nice now so maybe I should consider going back...HA!

They came. They renovated. Theyre doing a horrible job. They dont seem to know how to work the controls for the movies. The first 10 minutes the movie was so loud half of us went to wait outside until they fixed it and then the lights were on for the majority of the movie. I cant understand how you can jack up the prices but reduce the quality of service and stay in business.

Up up up , forget about all the reviews before , the theater are fully renovated and the stuff are friendly, there is a small bar you can have a drink before u enjoy the movie, the chairs really good u can to kinda bed , love it , and about the parking I do believe u have to buy the parking ticket from the theater window before u enter your movie.

Me and my mom drove almost 40 minutes from across the city to see a movie because it was the only one that was playing at the right time. When we finally got there they told us the movie was actually canceled because the projector wasnt working and we had to drive all the way back. I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Audience was loud, constant outburst yelling at the movie, texting during the show, and talking loudly during slow movie scenes. Complaints to the staff got no response at all. I actually had to inform two people that they were in our reserved seats. Wont be going back there again. The screen was good and the sound was great.

Dirty, unorganized, smelly, poor maintenance. It used to be called Pearl theater and used to be affordable. Now the prices are high and amenities is worse. You have to wait in the concession stand to get 3d glasses. Thats ridiculous. Dont think Ill ever go here again.

A no go if you want a peaceful movie. Took my 5 year old to see wonder woman and it was all these bad younger kids crying loud ghetto people talking and cussing. Smelled of dookie pampers and breathe. Waste of money for the classy but perfect for the hood.

The folks that waited on me were not familiar at all with the promotion for the Stubs Card, had me waiting and i missed the first 10 of the movie and the previews, and still didnt get what o wanted. Not sure if it was worth the $5.76 i paid

Its Disgusting. Only in the black neighborhood you would have a movie theater open while under construction. Just close down while remodeling! Nobody wants to breath in dust, asbestos and what ever else is floating in the air.

I went on 7/2/17 to an early showing of the mummy, the sound was clear, I love the red leather recliners and the staff was nice, it was an enjoyable experience to be in the hood. It beat a lot of others outside the hood.
