Worst theatre experience in my life just now. 1) 25 minute wait to get tickets with only one cashier, no backup, and like 30 people in line. 2) Cashiers response: "sorry, I cant see the line from in here" (no real complaints about the cashier other than, she needed to ask for help) 3) Managers response: "oh, nobody told us; theyre supposed to tell us" (in a cant be bothered look of indifference) 4) Then, once in the movie, no theatre checks while 20ish audience members seemed to be competing for who can be loudest and most obnoxious. 5) End result: along with another couple—who did the same and shared the same experience with me and both managers on duty—I left about 30 minutes into the movie and asked for a refund. Gladly, the manager approved my request (since another couple was complaining about the same experience in front of me) di without question, but the response was "here you go" with my credit card and refund receipt. Opportunities for improvement: a small blind-spot mirror for the ticket takers to see the line—and/or managers who walk around their theatre to ensure things are running smoothly; management that is aware of whats going on in line and in the theatre; management that is engaged and doesnt act indifferent when issues are brought to their attention.

Its was a terrible experience. We went to see a 7:20pm movie on a Saturday night. There was only one person working the ticket booth so the line was to the end of the building. Once we got our tickets we encountered another long line to get popcorn and drinks. Then we tried to get butter for the popcorn only to find all the machines were empty. I asked if they could be changes and waited about 5 min while the butter line grew and finally gave up. We noticed a manger walking by and my husband told him how bad the service was and his response was that they had been slow and they sent people home. Needless to say we were late to our movie. When you entered the building it smelt like cleaned up vomit. And when we left the restrooms were filthy, what a surprise.

I have lived in Gainesville all my life and my husband and I have gone to this movie theater always. But a week ago we were treated so rudely and disrespected. We when to the manager and even that was the worst, the manager let the employee talk to us rude, like we were lying about the fact that the cashier at the food court told us that our food will be ready in 15 minutes but when we got back, she with a smile said I forgot and we came 25 minutes after we purchase the food. No sorry, I take it to your movie. No just a silly smile. If this is customer service. We preferred the customer service at the archer road location. I fill sorry for this management that is obviously having the worst customer service.

Pretty decent movie going experience. Standard movie theater, stadium seating, decent sound, and fair selection. They have raised their prices in recent months and have started to cost as month as theaters in larger cities which is a major drawback. When I first got to Gainesville an adult ticket was 9 dollars and now it is closer to 12. I find 12 dollars for a movie ticket in Gainesville to be quite expensive. That being said, it is clean. The popcorn can be stale and isnt the most tasty; however, if you complain they have given me my money back before or given me a fresh batch. Overall, the popcorn isnt the best.

Long lines and managers who stood around looking bored while the employees did all the work. The poor girl in box office was overburdened with the line and when I asked why it was so long, she could only smile and say "its out of my hands." Meaning the management couldnt be bothered to put someone else in even though there were three of them standing around. The employees were nice and the facilities decent, and the movie itself ran fine. I just cant enjoy an experience where the people "in charge" of the place are clearly morons.

The employees are quick and waiting in line wasnt long. Theyre also very understanding. I loved the fact they were enforcing that everyone had to show their IDs to see a rated R movie, even if they werent buying the tickets. Thats how it should be done! My only complaint is the lack of respect the audience had for everyone around them. Was watching a horror movie and there was constant laughing and loud talking with random phone lights flashing all across the theater. Great place though! Love going to see movies here!

Been here multiple times, staff is friendly but theaters tend to be slightly messy. Biggest reason why i rated this place 3 stars is because they never have any hot food ready. Every time I go i get stuck waiting 15 -20 minutes for anything. Last visit was this past Saturday spent 19 minutes waiting for 3 hotdogs. I literally watched the girl put the order together ever so slow. There was literally no sense of urgency. Kinda drove me crazy I was ready to jump the counter and get it together myself

We bought tickets online to see The Martian tonight. However, we never watched it. Admittedly, we were a bit late (10 minutes), there were NO seats available. These amazing people refunded both our tickets and our concession purchases... AND gave us FRESH popcorn even when we tried to just "return" it (untouched mind you). After customer service like that... easily the preferred theater in Gainesville thus far.

Lady sold me two tickets because I was 18 and could get 1 person under age in. Get in and the other person who was taking tickets asked everyone for their ID and told us we couldnt come in because there wasnt someone older than 21 with us but there was four 18 year olds, a couple of 16 year olds, and a few 17 year olds. If we couldnt get in in the first then why sell us the tickets!

This theater is terrible, not particularly gross or anything like that, just bad by modern theater standards. Seats are small, packed in too tight, and dont offer any recline like newer theaters. Screens are on the small side. This place needs a makeover. On the plus side, still the best in Gainesville, not that its saying much compared to other options in town.

Great theater. Good location and for the most part it is clean. New digital theaters with great sound. They even sell wine and beer. Wish they still sold pina coladas. Parking is good but on busy days parking can be a hassle. Overall its a great theater although its actually cheaper to watch a movie in Orlando than in Gainesville.

Dear lord my ass hurts. Movies are far too long to sit in those horrible seats. I pay a ton of money to go to the theaters to want to leave half way through because my ass hurts! Get some better seats! Horrible. Not worth going to theaters to sit there in complete discomfort after having your bank account raped.

The lines were long, but I bought my ticket 4 days before so, I went to the kiosk to redeem them. I go nachos, Butterfinger bites, and soda.the candy was good, the nachos were okay(they dont use nacho cheese, its more of a cheddar), and my soda was flat. Overall the staff was pretty friendly.
