This is by far my favorite movie theater! The reclining seats are the most comfortable theater seats Ive ever encountered! They are super cozy and very spacious, so you dont feel like the stranger beside you is invading your personal space. And being able to choose your seats in advance is a huge bonus! The soda fountain and Icee stations are self serve, which is nice. My husband and I will drive the few extra miles to this theater, even though there are two others that are much closer, because weve (okay, Ive) been so spoiled by this place! My only real complaint with this cinema is how small each individual theater is. On a positive note, this does allow for great seats throughout the room (with the exception of the first two rows). Also, because there is ample room for each seat, this also limits the amount of seats to choose from (so pros and cons, depending on your preferences). Because there are less seats to choose from, you generally need to purchase your tickets further in advance than usual, especially on Friday and Saturday nights and always during opening night for popular films. The biggest obstacle of all is finding several seats next to each other. This makes it nearly impossible to make last minute plans to catch a show whenever you want to. But now that we know this, we always check ahead and buy our tickets online... Which is another plus - no waiting in line for tickets! And with the Stubs Premier membership, the online convenience fee is waived, plus we earn points for each purchase along with free upgrades and other bonuses! Overall, I always enjoy watching movies at this theater and have never had a bad experience there! I recommend it highly and encourage you to experience this one-of-a-kind cinema for yourself! Be sure to bring a throw blanket if you like to cuddle up while enjoying the movie!

This is by far the best theatre Ive ever been too, for multiple reasons. First, the facility is amazing. Its clean, the seats recline, free refills on butter and soda, and the movie quality is excellent. But the staff is the best part. First, the girl that gave us our tickets explained how seating worked, which since we were the only ones there, gave us free range of seats. Then we got popcorn and drinks. The guy filling the bowl left a space so I could go add butter, then hed top it off with more. Im a firm believer in theres no such thing as too much butter, so that was awesome. Once we got into the cinema, it was very clean, and since again it was just us, we had our phones out to check, which my son was being babysat for the date, so that was very nice. No one said anything. My girlfriend got cold and sat on my lap in our leather reclined chair. Again, no problem. But the best was actually after we left. We went to pick up our son, and i realized I didnt have my wallet. I called in, and immediately the girl on the other end starting looking. My wife called a few minutes later, they had found it. I went back, and rather then just give it to me, not knowing who I am, they looked at the ID and even had my verify my DOB, which I liked cuz not just anyone couls get it. They gave it back, and nothing, NOTHING was missing. Phenomenal. I recommend this theatre to anyone, whether for a date, family outing, or whatever. I promise you you want be disappointed. And to the staff, thank you so much. Youll DEFINITELY see us again. Just hope I dont leave my wallet next time....

Before AMC bought and refurbished this place, hardly anyone went here. Im amazed it stayed open as long as it did - often Id go with the kids to see something and thered maybe be two employees on duty and possibly four to six other people in the whole of the theater. The big pros here were no crowds to deal with; the cons, that the seats were Torquemada-level torture devices...but at least I didnt have to play elbows with someone next to me. Now, after AMCs purchase, you have reclining leather seats, perhaps 100 or so to a theater, and you get to pick your seats as if youre selecting from a seat map on an airline. Its wonderful to be able to secure my seats long before and not have to worry about getting there super early to get a decent place to sit...and therefore have to suffer through way too many stupid, useless advertisements (Im there to watch a movie, not watch a $#*%* soda commercial, you jerks). Thanks to those dumb commercials beforehand I stopped going to the theater altogether; for the last eight to ten years weve gone maybe once or twice a year to see a movie. Now, in the last eight months, weve seen six, and I am actually looking forward to it. Just get there right about the movies start time and youll get there right when the previews start, avoiding all the other nonsense...and your seat will be there waiting for you.

DISGUSTING. TRASH EVERYWHERE This place is a dump. Ok yeah, nice plush chairs but thats where the "nice" ends. There was popcorn dropped everywhere all over the carpet inside the main areas of the building. My feet stuck to the carpet. Made me want to go get my vacuum. Inside our theatre before our movie, the trash recepticles by the exit were still full from the previous showing. They hadnt been emptied!! The "nice" plush chairs had popcorn still all over them. When we left after our movie, those same trash bins near the theatre exit still hadnt been emptied and the trash was spilling over all onto the floor. The carpets in the entire place had popcorn all over. You almost couldnt walk without stepping on it. Towards the back of the building (farthest from the building entrance) the smell was of old stale food and maybe even vomit. Bathroom had paper towels all over the floor and another overfill trash bin. Dispenser was out of towels. Surprisingly, the bathroom didnt smell of old urine. I feel like I need a shower. If I go back, I will bring plenty of Lysol and hand sanitizer. Yuck!

I used to LOATHE this place. 3 times Ive tried to see movies here and either the lights wouldnt go down for the previews and the movie, or the left channel of sound was on but the right channel was silent, or the screen was out of focus. When I tried to see the Evil Dead remake, the lights were on and the screen was out of focus. I complained TWICE before anything was done. The manager tried to give me (and the 2-3 other patrons) free tickets to another show, but I turned them down, as I never wanted to come back. Then, 2 or so years later, I had not choice but to see a movie here, and was pleasantly surprised. 2 young nieces came in from out of town and spent several days here, and we took them to several Houston landmarks, bayous, museums, etc. When I asked them this morning what their favorite thing about Houston is, they said they like the movie theater! The seats are great, and when someone needs to pass, even with the feet extended we dont have to move. Some seats have a raisable arm rest, so my wife and I can cuddle. GO TO AMC 10!

I have gone to this theater ever since they did the update. But it has gone downhill every since. What was a really great theater has quickly turned back into what it once was. The only reason it get 2 stars is because of the actual movie and seating. The past 3 times we have visited, both icee machines were out. This past weekend (Fathers Day 2017) we saw Cars 3. Both icee machines were out and 2 of the 4 soda machines. The mens bathroom was disgusting and looked like pee was still caked on the floor from the day before. Now the most disgusting part and the reason I will probably not return. A little boy threw up in the lobby. 2 employees watched as he did it, and did nothing. The boys father took him outside and came back in to apologize and ask if he could get something to clean it up and the worker said "Dont worry about it." My wife told another worker what had happened and he stood there and said "Okay". Still he did nothing. As we left, the throw up was still there. I will be looking for another theater for future movies.
