This theater is still overpriced for what you get. I do think they have improved in some areas. It almost seems like a hit and miss though. They would use stale popcorn and for the price that is ridiculous. The staff seemed better the past 2 times we went. You are really stuck though with no other competition. Sometimes the negative theater experience isnt just due to the theater, staff or concession stand. We went on 5/5/2017 to see the new Guardian of Galaxy 2 movie. We were the 2nd group of people to enter. It was not quite full yet when they were playing the trailers, this man and two teenaged looking people came in. They trampled over people in one aisle (the one in front of us) when there were empty seats. Sat directly in front of us and the one teenager had his hat on and didnt take it off. We had to move to see the movie. The kicker is that as soon as they sat down the teenaged girl started talking loudly and non-stop while the rest of us were watching the trailers. So before we moved I leaned up and told her to please be quiet so others can hear the movie. Of course the nitwit talked through the entire move and kept getting glares from others. The boy never removed his hat. In those situations go talk to the management. They can give you all the dirty looks they want. We went to watch and listen to the movie not some nitwit blabbing all the way through the entire movie. I felt for the people in front of them.

They are the ONLY theater in town for at least 40 miles in all directions, so they have a captive audience and the mindset that they can compete with mega-theaters at their price points. Way OVERPRICED for Everything, Understaffed and in major need of renovations. I drive to Gainesville and Jacksonville for entertainment. Lake City has very little to offer for night life and what there is will leave a very bad taste in your mouth. Its the "GATEWAY" to Florida... Keep on trucking, you wont be missing anything.

If youre going to see a movie youd be better off going to Gainesville or Jacksonville. This theatre isnt the best.. Its old and needs some remodeling. The staff are friendly but the movie selection isnt always the greatest. Theres been rumor of a new cinema or IMAX theatre coming to Lake City but not sure when that will be. The prices on food and snacks are totally crazy, its better to just sneak some in a backpack or purse. I dont recommend this theatre to anyone.

They need better customer service as the employees here are rude and inexperience in dealing with people. The place was a mess and the seats were small and dirty. The movie curtain did not go up all the way which distracted from the movie. overall experience was bad and will not be returning to this cinema any time soon. will go back to Starke or pay a little more for tickets and go to Gainesville were the service is better and the cinema is cleaner.

Bull****, my fiance called and asked ahead of time if we could combine our regal rewards with the free small popcorn on my birthday and on the phone they said yes we can and when we get here they wont let me so we just wasted all our reward points for nothing. The worse experience ive ever had in a theater. Never coming here again.

Went to see Pirates of the Caribbean and it was hot as hell in theatre. Couldnt take sitting there sweating anymore so during beginning of movie went and told manager and he said Ill see what I can do. NOTHING! If I want to burn up and watch a movie Ill throw 40 bucks at my dog put my tv in the sun and squirm for 2 hrs.

Its okay for our small town. Need to work on moving ALL the lines along ... Handicap people cant walk up stairs and you have a line out into the parking lot ... Also need tho get better with the concession stand move faster or get more help in those areas during the times movies are starting.

The theater staff are very cordial, but the prices are high, especially for snacks and drinks (as with any other theater, right?) My advice, eat first then see the show, as you will be spending around $25.00 on 1 adult and one child ticket. Matinees are a little less, but very crowded.

This movie theater is the best theater in the area!! The staff is so helpful and they do an amazing job! One in particular named Matthew is my favorite employee. He is friendly, helpful, and loves his job! All in all an amazing experience and wonderful staff

For as much as the tickets cost the theater is very disappointing. Seating is old, carpeting is dirty, not much in the way of overpriced concessions, and poor projector quality. They are doing a great job taking advantage of their Lake City monopoly though.

Now that they have new seats its a lot better. People are really nice and the management are cool. Someone pulled the fire alarm during my movie and mang gave us free tickets to make up for it. Just wish it was next to the mall and have stadium seating.

Over priced for such an old and un-renovated theatre. Only one matinee daily ,, any showing after 3:00 is full price. Its cheaper and better to drive down to Gainesville for their matinees. For a city the size of Lake City, we could do much better,

Really needs 2.5 stars. Theater is okay for its age but the price for consession is ridiculously high. Should be illegal. Just not realistic for a family to go to the movies anymore. We went today and will not be able to return due to the cost.

Great place to go with familys but the lines get really long and end up in the parking lot and people are having to drive through the crowd to get to a parking spot if Im not mistaken I dont believe theres ramps for handicapped people either.

The only game in town. Refreshments are limited - no coffee. Newly renovated so the interior is better than it has been for years. Relatively overpriced and the only Regal theater I am aware of that does not offer a military discount.

Lots of parking but interior feels outdated. Prices for food and drinks are incredibly high. Screens are good size and the sound is clear and loud. Bathrooms are clean but small and the seat in the theater rooms are very uncomfortable.

Service is very very slow! The concession stand needs a lot of help! Sad, they spent money on new seating but.... they are still small do not recline and we all still are at the same level..... we just need a new theatre!

The carpet is really dirty. The staff are polite, and the parking is plentiful and close to the entrance. The parking lot is also walking distance to good food choices for before or after your movie watching experience!

Love the place, been going since I was a young grasshopper. The prices are a little high, but theyre like that everywhere. The popcorn is pretty good and the drinks are cold. A+ place to be somewhere like lake city.
