Gosh! I hate this theater. It never gets in the movies I want to see, or that most people want to see. Dark Knight Rises? Nope. Tintin? Again, nope! Pirates 4? Nada! How about for the more recent movies, Lincoln and Wreck it Ralph? Again, nope. Instead they have to show crappy movies like Katy Perry and Twilight. The problem is the company also owns another theater called Regal 16. They get all the good movies. Supposedly they dont want their own theaters competing against each other, so they show different movies at each. This would be fine, if Regal 14 got more decent movies. Its things like this that make me wish Regal 14 was a different theater owned by a different company. Overall I wish I didnt live near Regal 14.

Fine movie theater experience. Decent sound, good picture, and helpful staff. They have raised their prices a bit to match ticket prices in larger cities which I find a bit unfair. Ticket prices in a small college town should be lower than larger cities. Overall a fine experience and have never had any issues. It is a bit on the older side but still has stadium seating and everything you would need from a decent theater. They get the newest movies and the wait times are not bad. Some times the popcorn is stale or not fresh but they will give you your money back or a fresh batch if you ask.

Great air conditioning and the sounds are great on decent sized screens. This old theater has some real 80s charm and plenty of screens. You can buy advanced tickets either online or your phone, and they have the capacity to scan the ticket on your phone so thats great. The staff are great too. This theater is probably going to be torn down soon with all the work in Butler Plaza so a visit soon would be important before its replaced by the latest and greatest Gainesville has to offer. =)

This theater has always been solid - good, nothing exceptional - but now that theyve installed their new recliners its absolutely incredible. No extra charge and automatic powered recliners for the entire theater? Are you kidding me? I legitimately felt like someone from a commercial as I ranted and raved about how amazing the new recliners are. This move has taken a good movie theater and made it great. This is my first pick for movies in Gainesville, period.

I came back recently for a Fathom Event (a live Met broadcast). They had the nerve to schedule active construction right next to us. There was hammering during the show. Some of us including myself complained, but it did not stop. I left after 20 minutes. I am not sure if management ultimately made it stop. I doubt I will be back. You could schedule construction after hours or block that theatre room. I am not impressed at this time.

Really rude staff. A woman named Allanna gave my mother a rude look when she asked to be checked out at the concession. She then continued to give my mother an attitude as she filled our drinks. She then spill all over the sides of our drinks and just left them like that. Ive never dealt with a ruder staff membe at a movie theater before. I guess Im going elsewhere this summer.

I just dont get it. Two theaters run by the same company showing different movies. It doesnt allow any competition and when you do go to the movies to see a movie you and your girlfriend want to see by the time you get there and realize it is showing at the other theater, you wont make it in time and its not worth the time. Typical for a college town.

The Regal 16 in town is the worst cinema in history. Seriously. The newly renovated Regal 14 is the complete opposite. Modern ultra comfortable lean back seats, great sound, reserved seating. Its not a 5 star cinema in any sense (3D technology too old, screen too small) bit compared the the only other option in town, this deserves 6 stars!

The theater is ok. Luckily its being replaced by a newer bigger theater. As of now as long as you get one of the bigger cinema rooms its good. If you get one of the smaller rooms youll h get a really cheap feeling theater. Other than that its not too bad. The regal app and rewards is great and even better after the latest updates.

The new, extremely comfortable recliner seats are simply amazing. So much leg room! Leave the other theaters aside, reserve your specific seat in advance, and enjoy the luxury of of comfortibility. This theater makes me actually want to actually spend the money to WANT to go to the movies. Prices are not increased either! AMAZING!

The attendants were very cordial and professional. The only complaint that I have is that my popcorn was a little cold. I noticed this and I was able to go and have another one replaced and given a free soda. All in all the movie theater is very clean and the bathrooms were maintained very good.

Great place and easy to spot. The recliners are awesome. The crowd was mostly of college students. No hassle while going in even if you buy tickets using atom or fandago. Has a big parking lot as well. Popcorn and soda are decently priced. Enjoy the movie!

Very comfortable reclining seats and service was on point. Even the projector upgrade of the movie was in Blu-ray which was visually stunning. The only con was the $4-5 cost of a cup of water, but overall would definitely revisit to watch a new feature.

I have been going to this theater for years now and nothing has changed. That is a good and bad thing. The staff is friendly but the building itself is outdated. I actually prefer when a movie is released at Regal 16. Needs updates bad.

I have gone here a number a times and I love the new recliners, but now apparently every movie is reserve seating only. I will not be going here anymore because its no longer possible to just decide to go see a movie.

Ive always had a good experience here. Ive lived in Gainesville for over 10 years and have never had a problem. The place has always been clean and the seating good. Staff has always been nice and friendly.
