If you are a no-class, no-etiquette, redneck that has no idea how to conduct themselves on a golf course... then this is the course for you!! I have played this course 5 times in the past 3 years and each time I leave saying I am never coming back simply because of the people that they allow to get on the course. The last time I was there I got stuck 2 groups behind a group of 13 year olds driving carts all over the course and taking 20-25 minutes to finish each hole. Of course there was no marshal or starter to help move things along. Most of the people you will see here will be in untucked t-shirts hacking at each and every shot, while spending 20 minutes looking for balls in the lakes and woods. The layout of this course makes it only possible to ride a cart. There are some places where it feels like you drive at least half of a mile to the next hole. The par 3s are a joke due to the fact that most of them are less than 110 yards. Dont expect the pro shop to be friendly or helpful, instead expect them to treat you like you are an inconvenience for wanting to pay to play their course. This course does have members, and they treat the course like a playground. They start where they want, they jump in front of people when they want, they will play with 5 or 6 people if they feel like it, and if you get anywhere close to them with a shot they will drive back to you looking for a fight. Out of 5 times playing I have seen 5 different altercations on this course. I have never been in one myself, but at one point a group was leaving the flags on the side of the greens and not placing them back in the cup just to make the group behind them mad. The "manager" of the course (and I use that term loosely) will always take the side of the members (I also use that term loosely), and he may also cuss you out like many of the people they allow on the course. PLEASE TAKE YOUR MONEY TO A GOOD COURSE WITH GOOD PEOPLE!! If you appreciate good golf courses, golfers who conduct themselves properly, and friendly staff that truly love the game, then stay as far away from this course as you can. If you are looking for a course where you can drink beer, get in a fight, and wear your favorite NASCAR t-shirt, then please play at creekside so the rest of us can enjoy a real course with real golfers.

Great course! I loved the layout, good greens, good tee boxs and the value was great! ($26 with a cart for 18 on Groupon.) The place needs help though. Although we had tee times they said they were on a delay and would call people as they were up. While sitting in the patio, that never happened. We ended up asking when we could go out only to be told "right now, we have one cart left." From here, we ended up catching the 4-some ahead of us very quickly. No ranger to monitor the pace of play. These guys where everywhere but the fairway/green and wouldnt allow us to pass through. The cart girl came around once in an entire 5 hour round (slow play in front of us again) and although very friendly, once a round does not quench a guys thirst in early August. All in all, very nice course, good value, but needs some support on the customer service front. Ill update my post after I play here again if anything changes.

Stay away, dont support greed. Heres a picture of a range completely empty one afternoon at 6pm. Could I pay to hit balls at this public course that Ive visited and hit balls before? Nope. Now there is some members only driving range plan that cost $25 a month and only get you one free bucket of balls. Thats right if you want to hit more than one bucket of balls per month thatll be an extra $9 each time. But you can pay to play the course of youd like and then you can buy a bucket. What an absolute crock and a rip-off. Please dont support greedy people like this. This is the last time Ill ever visit Creekside Golf Course from now on Ill just head over to Marietta Marietta if I want to visit a driving range.

Well, i would like to know who got let on this course without a collared shirt; I have played here half a dozen times and have never seen anyone play without one. The course is alright, certainly nothing special but even in this time of little rain, the greens/fairways are green and grassy. 58.50 for 18 on the weekend and a bucket of range balls. The trash can get a little out of hand after 5 on the weekends but thats not much of a big deal; the beer cart lady was pretty good looking and friendly though(sadly married, sorry guys). All in all, a pretty good experience although be warned if you show up as a single, you WILL have to play with at least one other person.

I own a home in here in Creekside and wanted to take up golf. I started to go to the driving range last fall. I planned on taking lessons this spring. I went to the range today just to work my swing a little. Was told that the new rule is that unless you are a member you cant use the range. WAIT!! I can still pay to play on the course as a non-member of the club, but I cant pay to use the driving range. Guess they dont want people learning the game so they can play on the course. Unbelievable. The clubhouse is old, run down and they dont put any money into it. No selection of beer and lame food. Skip this place.

I went into the bar for a drink after a round on a monday morning. The supposed food and beverage manager smelled of dirty dish rags and was extremely rude and unprofessional. She looked as though she had slept in her clothes and desperately needed a shower. It seemed like an inconvience for me to be there with the proshop and bar. The place was dirty and I will never go.back there.

@ Evan. Drinking a beer on the golf course isnt what you make it out to be. This course is in great shape and I only run into friendly folks out there. I recently purchased a membership and thus far, I have no complaints. @ Brad. Knocking a golf course because you cant handle walking is not a good reason to give them 1 star. Get in shape and it might not be so bad afterall.

Apparently they were taken over by new management that did not contact past users of the clubhouse/course. No info on website about how it is a private club and you must be a member to use even the range or practice areas. Update your website, it should have been the first thing changed when you decided on making it "members only".

Not long but a tough course. If you cant hit it straight, youd better bring some balls with you. If beer is your priorty you might want to find a bar. I am a member and have always been treated great. Not a walking course unless your in great shape.
