I stopped in last night to take part in a Pacific Tiki night. Upon arrival was greeted nicely by the barkeeper who complemented me on my Aloha Shirt and lei. I thanked her and was looking for a Northern Californian draft beer I had ordered my last visit to the Pacific Tiki event held there. The beer was not available. The bar has a large bar list of beers domestic and many places around the world that brew the suds. One of the fellows of a group sipping the souses at the bar suggested I try a German beer. Gave it a try. it hit the spot. I began watching German Football (Soccer). Interesting to see but nothing exciting. Like watching OSU crush Tulsa. The game ended but there was a lot of talk which wasnt available to us. I requested for some script and the bartender made it happen. Had a couple of small tea cup sized brews with some popcorn. Also requested a cup of coffee which was a first rate cup. I went to the restroom. That was the most spic and span restroom I have seen in years. I had to go. That is leave . But will be back. The place is an Aloha treat. Sorry I couldnt stay any longer, especially since some friends where on their way to take part in the offerings of the Drafthouse. I sure they had a good time. I f you are down. The Grandview Theater and Drafthouse is a place to pick your self up.

This recently (2016) renovated movie theater is the classic local theater of yesteryear with updated amenities. The lobby and entrance are well done and spacious with a ton of local and craft beers on tap. While no food is prepared on site, the staff welcome you to order from a local pizza shop for delivery. Popcorn always seems to be made fresh with a choice of butter and M&Ms - thats right. The waiting area with tables is excellent with plenty of TVs to keep you entertained while you wait on your showtime. While only one screen, the seats are VERY comfortable with tables and there really isnt a bad place to sit. Ive been where I was one of 10 people in the theater to other times when its been busy and a bit rowdy. The projection quality is good and so is the sound. This place is highly recommended.

The sound had static. The place was a mess both times Ive been there with the same mess with two different reasons. No movie previews, instead you are graced with photo slide show if construction including pictures of the toilets while you are eating your popcorn. You will really miss not having stadium seating. And the owner comes down front and talks to you for about five minutes explaining all the reasons I dont like going there which didnt help. I have one more Groupon to use there then probably not going back. I wanted to like it there. Grandview has a lot of great spots unfortunately this is not one of them.

New renovated, the interior is a mix of modern furniture with quirky movie-buff decorations, complimented by a long bar and comfortable side room with tables. From this inviting space dedicated to order drinks and kill time, the theater auditorium offers amble room with comfortable reclining seats, most rows paired with bar-height tables. Overall, very charming-- especially the combination of showing new releases as well as special features like a Waynes World Marathon or a gathering place to watch the Oscars.

I really wanted to like the theatre as its locally owned and run, plus I love studio 35, but it appears to be horribly run. There is garbage literally everywhere you look, piles of trash in the corners of the theatre, random tables and piles of whatever in the entrance, it looks like its run by a hoarder. The actual theatre screen is small, but not horrible. Good sound though. Overall, the owners needs to get their act together and clean it up.

Interesting change of pace for the normal megaplexes. Decent beer selection, lower-cost and logical snacks, and offering a menu from a local establishment near by, it fits a niche of smaller theaters, and I highly recommend it, assuming you know what youre getting. The theater itself isnt huge, but seating is comfortable and well laid out, and the clientele/location tend to lend itself to a better experience.

Awesome little theater, has a classic feel on the inside with lots of good beers on tap and food. The theater room itself has a front section of normal movie seating and a back section of seating with tables so you can eat and drink comfortably. Ticket prices werent unreasonable either. Will definitely be looking here first whenever I want to see a movie

We went once for the beer tasting and movie event and had a really great time!! I like that they do the m&ms in the popcorn. Got 3 stars however because the movies have all been directed towards children. I feel like we can only go when there is a beer tasting, which is only once a month.

The staff is extremely friendly and the craft beer selection is superb. The movie selections are usually very good and the airing of "The Walking Dead" on Sunday evenings is a nice touch. I feel lucky to have stumbled upon this hip spot in downtown Grandview.

Themed cocktails, you can eat while you watch the movie or in the dining area while you wait for the movie to start, board games to play, friendly and helpful staff. Fabulous experience! Everything you could want in a movie theater

Came here for a Harry Potter movie night. They had themed cocktails and sorting hat jello shots. The bartender was nice and made the experience even better. Will definitely come to this place again.

An amazing tap list and friendly staff. You wont get the IMAX experience here but the neighborhood feel of the place is enough to make up for it. One of my favorite places in Grandview.

A great place to see a movie. They even show OSU games and the Walking Dead episodes. It is really a bar in the front with a single movie screen in the back. One of our favorites.

This is a good place to grab a drink. The theater is also very recently remodeled and very nice. Most seats have a table your drink and food.
