If you are gay, bisexual, lesbian or transsexual the staff here treat you like youre not welcome. Each time I have unfortunately had to come here for "substance abuse treatment“ I have been repeatedly lied to and was even forced into a program that the staff were mentally abusive and sexually indecent to me. The staff allowed a dangerous situation to happen against me and then told me that because of my sexual identity and how I look that it was my fault. No other time in my life have I been treated with such disrespect and complete disregard for my safety and wellbeing! Now I have to take legal action against CSB and the "Crossroads Residential Program" for sexual discrimination and other violations. - Which is going to be expensive and embarrassing! I cant speak for the other services CSB offers. But substance abuse treatment here is terrible! And the staff at CSB and the drug treatment facilities CSB utilizes needs to be held responsible for their actions. Outside sources need to monitor how clients are being treated. And people need to be aware of how people are being mistreated by some of the CSB employees.

As for Addiction treatment the employees are often dishonest and misleading. This includes the employees of the residential programs CSB offers. From my personal experiences with CSB I have been repeatedly discriminated against for my sexuality and now I have to waste more money on taking legal action against CSB. My whole experience was extremely upsetting. And the whole time I have been involved with there services I have witnessed overall damage done to clients.I really believe that Fairfax government should look into what is going on with drug and alcohol treatment because majority of the clients are court ordered.

Honestly I am disgusted with the medical attention in this facility. I have been waiting for help for over an hour now and they call themselves an emergency service. I am also THE ONLY PATIENT IN THE FACILITY and have been for the past hour and a half. Extremely disgusted and upset with the way this place works. AVOID MERRIFIELD EMERGENCY SERVICES BY ALL MEANS. they clearly do not care about their patients!

Offer all behavioral health services in one beautiful new building. Includes counseling, psychiatric evaluations, medical services, pharmacy, substance use out-patient services, walk-in emergency services, and a peer-to-peer resource center in front on first floor, which offers support, resources, government applications assistance, computers for ypur use, social and wellness groups

Very good facility, but everything take so long. I wish they have more staff and the could send patients to other facilities fast. Every time a person need to get help take from 4 to 6 hours minimum doesnt matter how many people are wait. Like yesterday my son was the only person while afternoon and he arrived 1:00 pm and he left 6;00 pm.

This Place save my LIFE, Im so THANK FULL 4 the help they provide. Even though I was very resentful in the begging 2 be force in a mental institute but now I C the big picture, with out they help n support I probably wouldnt b writing this n may had giving up life. I thank God everyday Im alive.

Within the first 5 minutes of being here my patient rights were violated. Very long wait time. Brand new building and not enough staff. They also do not give priority to Vets. Avoid at all costs
