My husband and I have been to this movie theater on many occasions. We were seeing the War on the Planet of the Apes at 10:20pm tonight and as the movie was starting to pick up the movie completely CUT OFF!!! Now if this were the first time, I would excuse it but we were there about a month or so ago seeing Guardians of the Galaxy and the movie CUT OFF then! At that time, a number of other theaters were experiencing the same thing. They restarted the movie from the point at which it cut off, and all was well. However, this time I cannot ignore that there is an issue at this Regal River City Marketplace Staium 14. They refunded us our money, as they didnt want to try to get the movie back up. If you have access to a different movie theater, do yourself a favor go there. Thankfully my husband and I dont have children and have the freedom to do a make up date night, but if you need a sure thing movie, go elsewhere.

Seriously! Take the family of 4 out for my sons Birthday dinner and an opening night movie "Guardians of the Galaxy" at prime time 8:15 slot premium priced 3D and they are showing it in their 2nd run dumpy #13 theatre. Not even half full. I always go to the AMC which is the same distance from me as this Regal and we decided to try the Regal since my son chose a restaurant right next to it. I think it is a reasonable expectation for an opening night film with a 3D premium would be on a screen and sound system better than my home theatre. Dont ever recall this happening to us at the direct competitor. If they have only 4 stadium screens they need to fill those before adding showtimes and half filling their garbage screens with premium tickets. They make it a PITA to get through to the box and confirm a film is showing in one of the decent theatres.

I usually go to the evening movies during the week days when the crowds are small. I love this theater. The concession lines are short. (Again, I go during the week days at night.. No annoying crowds). The theaters are clean. There is a small audience in the theater... (Just like a private showing) NICE!!! The restrooms are clean. Plus, since I go during the week days at night, I talked to, and got to know the staff. Good people! I never have gone on the weekends, so I dont know how the crowds are then. I like no crying babies, no wild teens, and no couples trying to suck eachothers face up in the back row. But this is a Great Theater!

The popcorn was soft and stale. We had a large so we were able to get free refills. So we dumped the popcorn after eating a few handfuls and got a refill from a different machine. Same experience - they had mixed the fresh popcorn with the stale ones. What a waste. We dumped the 2nd set too. While we were waiting for the movie to begin, they showed brief clips, but their were no sound. We went to the service desk and told them; the clerk explained that they clips are projected from satellite and they were aware that there was no sound but they had no control about it. The sound did come on when the movie came on.

The management at this theatre is not very good. Forgot my regal card and manager said they cannot add my points at C. S. Desk anymore. Everytime I go there it has bad customer service at the concession stand. Long lines and long wait times. Sometimes there are cashiers available that are not servicing customers. Been here several times when sound was not working on movie and took a while to get it working. They also often serve cold and stale popcorn even when you request fresh. The other theaters in town are better, but this one is convient because its close to my house.

Came in on the 23rd. Lady printed tickets for wrong time on the first try wrong movie on the second try. 3rd times the charm. However my family and I went to have lunch before the movie at which point my 6 yr. Old became sick so i went in for a refund. I was told the money would go back on my card in a day or so....still not there. I came up here to speak with some one only to find out that the theater does not open at 9 like fb suggest or at 11 like the website suggest but at 1130....nothing but a headache! Its been a nightmare!

I enjoy going to this theater during the week but I would never go on the weekends. Parents just drop their kids off like its a free babysitting service. There are kids running in and out of every movie and talking. There is no one stopping kids from sneaking into movies and disturbing the experience for the paying customers...it is so ANNOYING! There is also a lot of people just hanging out in the parking lot standing around- it makes me scared to leave my car out there! Weekdays yes, weekends hell no!

The theater itself is fairly nice and about as clean as you would expect a theater to be. However, other than finding out movie times, their phone system and their web site are rather useless and in the case of the phone system, not overly friendly. So if you dont want to know anything about what to expect and like to be surprised when you get to the theater, they get high marks. If you like to know about the theater and their prices and policies ahead of time, you will be disappointed.

Nearly every franchise finds that its highest grossing location is on the Northside. So I guess when someone says this wonderful facility is GHETTO! that means there are more Blacks out spending money than theyre used to seeing in one place. Considering there are no other movie screens on the Northside, this facility provides a much-needed service to the community - if you think its the Black people that make this place "ghetto", then youre better off going to a movie in the Southside.

Friendly staff. Refill of popcorn with purchase of BUCKET! MY husband and I went yesterday afternoon to see Safehouse. Since there have been many comments of the number of black people there, I feel the need to address this. SO WHAT!!! We are white and were a minority there, but we were never uncomfortable. We were friendly to everyone we encountered AND EVERYONE ELSE was friendly to us. Good, polite manners from everyone I saw...no matter skin color! Clean facilities. :)

Overall seems to be a well run machine but obviously after going to see a 10 pm Dark Knight Rises showing they like to cut off the air conditioning so its a sauna in the theater to save money Im assuming. And when you try to find a manager to complain about the situation there isnt a soul in the theater to be found at closing. I honestly think I could have walked out with the entire fleet of registers. And good luck trying to call to complain.

Good theater to grab a quick movie. I only wish they had an IMAX screen but that is a lot to ask. Movies are bright and good focus. Not a lot of commercials before the movie, which is a welcome change from Carmike. Trailers yes, but I like trailers. Once I went to a movie and the time in the Flixter app was wrong, they gave me free tix to a future movie. Good for them. Clean and well run.
