I will never be coming to this rude place again. And nor will my family!!!! Im in the process of potty training my 3 year old daughter. On the way home from the store she said she had to go potty the closest spot was the theater. I stopped there so i walked up to where the tickets are bought and asked if i could just let my three year old go potty the lady told me that it should be fine i just had to ask the person who takes the tickets. So i walked in and asked the old guy if we could use the bathroom and he asked me if i had a ticket for a movie i said no he then asked if i was going to buy a ticket i said not to day. He then told me mam this isnt a convenient store you cant come in unless you have a ticket . At this point i was pissed so i responded rudely and said so youre not going let a 3 year old go pee he said i will let it slide this once but dont it again!!!! I was furious so i said i will never come back !!!!! Bottom line is i thought it was supposed to be a family place and to be talked to like this is nonsense . I dont think people should be told this. But just know that because of the rude old you just lost any business for 10 people for ever. I wish i could give no stars!!!! DONT COME HERE WITH KIDS!!!!!!

So my experience here is usually normal. how ever a couple months ago i was try to see a movie with my wife and was refused. the time posted online was wrong so we accidentally showed up 30 mins late. the manager who was at the front was very rude and refused us tickets because allowing us to go into the movie theater that late into the movie would be a disturbance. but what she was really cover up is the fact that every register for ticket was closed and counted already but didnt care that me and my wife came 45mins to this theater because it was our first date. needless to say we asked for the corporate number and was gave a fake. this manager was a blonde or fake blonde in her mid to late 40s. After that experience we have refused to use that theater except for our anniversary. -phillip pattishall

They usually have a good selection of movies but the reason for 3 star rating centers on three things. First, the theater layout of rpx and most of the other rooms is poor i.e. few of the stadium seating areas are close to the screen. Second, if you are seeing a less popular title on one of their smaller screens, expect it to be an experience only a few steps above what you might experience at home. Third, I dont always buy concesions, but i almost never do at this theater since the lines are long and the staff doesnt turnover the customers at a quick rate. I go to this theater if it works for my familys schedule, but given another choice, i will take it.

Not gonna lie, it looks so ghetto I had passed it a few times and decided I would probably never go there but despite its ugly facade, the inside is great. You can reserve your seats (and easily do it from the Atom Tickets app) and the line for the snack area is organized WAY better than any other theater Ive ever been to. Instead of picking a line and hoping the people in front of you arent ordering the entire menu, there is a single line and when there is an open spot, the employees hold up a sign to let you know. I wish all theaters would take this approach to concessions!

Never go there at 7:00pm on a week day, customer services is horrible, when we went in to buy our movie tickets the old lady was having an attitude when we asked for the show times since the screen was off. Then the other old lady receiving the tickets was very rude about asking to search in our bags, she asked my boyfriend what his tripod was acting as if it was the weirdest thing in the world. When we got to buy our popcorns there was a huge line with only two people working. Will definitely not come back to this location.

Regal Cinemas Avenues is the only major chain in Jacksonville that has no recliners, However, theyre still good. Regal Avenues usually offer less variety of movies than Cinemark Tinseltown and AMC Regency which offers both International and Indie films. The screens are also either stained or the projectors look washed out compared to AMC, especially Cinemark which I think have the best screens in town. You will never miss this establishment when you drive over Philips Highway at night with with their neon signs and all.

We first planned to see a movie at the regal avenues ... and we always check twice the times ....check the website twice to make sure we were on the correct one ....get there the movie times are all different ...the staff was very rude saying something about theres a certain website youre supposed to go to also said about three short nasty comments in front of my grandkids....so we went over to Tinseltown very happy we did ....very nice staff everybody was in a good mood ...makes a difference wont be back

Theres nothing particularly wrong with this theater. Im there on a regular basis because its the closest to my home and the Regal Rewards program is better than a comparable program from Cinemark. Having said that, this Regal is pretty unremarkable. Ticket prices are high in comparison to their competition. Id recommend some budget priced second run movies. Bottom line is basically the same as most theaters these days: high ticket prices, comical concession prices.

Positives: the theater is clean and the movies seem to operate without malfunction. Negatives: long wait times at concession, even longer wait times to get through the previews. I literally think I could take a quick power nap through the previews. Its too bad that there isnt an alarm after the previews. This isnt an awful movie theater by any stretch but the experience falls well short of theaters in other parts of the country. See: Santikos Palladium.

Always a nice place great atmosphere. . Me and my Girlfriend went on sunday and they do not charge just 5$. Before 3 oclock they charge 6 bucks and some change . After 3 they charge 7 bucks amd some change. I asked the lady when she rang up 15 bucks she said they stopped doing just 5 bucks 2 years ago .. just thought if wrote a review to let know cause I was under the impression it was just 5 cause of the latest google review a year ago saying 5 bucks .

Dont bother going. Its a cash cow theater with a bullcrap "no outside food/drink" policy (Thank their corporate elites for that). They kicked us out of the theater for bringing our own food and drinks in order to force us to buy their own overpriced food/drinks just to suck more money out of us. Absolutely terrible customer service policy! Never going to Regal again. I highly encourage everyone to go try out Tinseltown instead.
