The IMAX screen is small. If its larger than the normal screens, I didnt notice. I say dont bother ... just go to the regular 3D or regular showing. Theyre IMAX is simply NOT worth the extra $5-$7 they charge. The bathrooms are upstairs so be sure not to drink too much soda or your quick jaunt will lose you more plot than you could imagine ... although youll get a nice cardio workout in the process. lol I have experienced the staff as friendly and helpful ... always easy to butter my popcorn half-way and bring it back to have it topped off. ;) And the venue is attractive and comfortable, including the typical fold up arms that allow me to cuddle with my daughter or hubby during the movie without taking a piece of furniture to the ribs. All the modern day conveniences of purchase-online, the ticket machine, or the teller counter. And, despite the remote location of the bathrooms, I have always experienced them as clean, well-kept, and numerous stalls. The Roxy, only a couple exits away, is also nice, charges less, and doesnt try to do the IMAX rip-off.

ok so yes, if your expecting the picture to fix itself or the sound to fix itself your out of luck. Now days you HAVE to get up and go tell them to focus the projector or fix the audio, gone are the days of professional projectionists. They dont exist any more. Cheaper to have some kid do it. Better, well hell no. Cheaper for them, yes. On that note. when I MUST go see a movie I just have to see in the theater I go to this one because of the IMAX screen, BUT mostly for the duel projectors that they use at the same time on that IMAX screen. The image (if in focus) is simply stunning. The 3d just adds to the effect. Hands down the best image in Ventura County. Other than the IMAX I just stay home and watch it in my private theater with my 120inch screen and projector.

I saw Star Wars in Thousand Oaks at Muvico when it came out and it was great. My daughter wanted to see it so I decided to go to Edwards in Camarillo to see it in IMAX and 3D. What a dissipointment. The movie shown on the screen was the same or smaller than Muvico. The screen seemed larger but the movie was not shown full screen. If the movie is not the size of an IMAX screen how can you charge $17.95 each for an IMAX expenience and not give it to me. I will be telling everybody this IMAX theatre is a rip off and dont waste your money on it. I want a refund down to the regular size screen price.

I was not happy with my experience at this theater. I took my mom to see the Mummy. I had free tickets that were paid for and given to me as a gift, but because this theater was upgraded with recliner seats, I was charged a $1.50 surcharge for each ticket. This doesnt make sense to me. It was not stated on the ticket that an extra fee would be charged if the theater was upgraded. Nothing else about the theater was upgraded. The bathrooms needed work and there was only one bathroom downstairs with one toilet for men and women. Not coming back again.

Solid Theatre and they offer incredible movie ticket prices on Tue & Sun so we can afford to see all the big movies that deserve a theatrical experience. Their Imax Screen is good but not the best I have ever seen but for $12.75 on those 2 days for IMAX and only $6.25 for regular showings on those days how can i not give it 5 stars.

They may have updated the seats, but not the customer service. Waited over 30 minutes for popcorn when there were only 3 cash registers open, and 10 closed. When I got to my seat there was trash from the last patron, empty popcorn buckets and half full cups of soda. I will not being back to this theater.

I havent been to the Edwards Camarillo theaters in a couple years. I was amazed to see the nice floors and the reclining seats in the theater 1. I enjoyed the movie with the upgraded sound system. I want to go there again. Hopefully they will soon include a in theater food option.

Its clean. The food is very expensive as you expect it. And the imax isnt actually imax so dont waste your money and watch the regular screening. The worst part is they did a very bad job at noise isolation and you can hear the other movie if they are watching an action movie

Saw Rogue One in what they called an "IMAX" theatre but it was smaller than regular screens. Seats were regular seat but with leather covers. In no way a luxury theatre and they only have one bathroom upstairs no where near any of the theaters, I was very disappointed.

Good place to go and I live in oxnard but rather drive to Camarillo to watch a movie. Good customer service experience all the time. Always good to see Sally that girl.... That takes the tickets when you walk in genuine smile all the time.

Great new reclining seating, very comfortable. Great customer service. Great snack bar, but I wish they would be a little forward thinking and offer things like fruit and maybe raw veg with dip if you wanted. Wouldnt that be great?

They havent added any comfortable seats yet and they dont offer reserved seating yet either. Menu and snacks arent on the healthy side yet (high-fructose and bleached flour options galore) and their IMAX screen is the small one.

Overall good experience. The prices are reasonable for similar movie theaters and there are many discount offers available, clean and fun environment. There was a small rip on the screen which was annoying.

Im spoiled by the recliner seats; I wont go anywhere else. This place is clean and close by. My kids love the icees and mixing their flavors together. Ticket prices are awesome.

We come here a lot because were given movie passes, but if were paying for a movie Id go elsewhere. Theyve really been left behind on the whole reserved seat thing.

Nostalgic neon and mirrors greet moviegoers in an grand atrium. Fantastically comfortable recliner-style chairs cradle once you take your seat.

Just ok, IMAX screen is definitely not as good as others Ive been to. Seating is pretty eh. The 3D glasses are 1cent knockoffs from China.
