I drove from thousand oaks with my 2 year old daughter to see the last matinee of Big Hero 6 and the projector broke so the movie was cancelled. The next showing wasnt until 6:30 which I was okay with but I asked if I could have the matinee price for the trouble. The guy refused to allow it and said that I would also have to pay extra to see the 3D version. I didnt even want to see the 3D version but I thought at least they would let me pay the amount that I was going to pay for the matinee. I asked for the manager and she said there was absolutely nothing they could do for me. What kind of customer service is this? She tried telling me that it wasnt their fault that the projector was broken which was true but it should be the responsibility of the theater to allow people seeing the show to get the cheaper price that they were supposed to pay. It was going to be $8 extra since apparently I was supposed to pay full price for my 2 year old. What movie theater charges for a 2 year old anyway! I left the theater upset and they didnt even seem to care. I took my daughter to see a movie at the regal in Simi and paid less then I would have since she was free.

So ... I frequent this place often and on the 22nd of Feb at 10:25 pm I went to see passengers at 10pm with a friend when get to the door with my buddy its locked...weird we just got here and its only 1020 we see two girls standing at the concessions counter and snickering. We knock to get their attention and they ignore us for quite some time but upon further perseverance one comes and answers the door to tell us they close 15 minutes after last showing such was 10:10 well thanks!!! If you had answered the door when we got there u couldve made our trip from Northridge actually worth it but no you on my think about closing early to get out as fast as you can! Thanks for cocking up my night screw wedensday night staff. 2/22. One of my favorite spots just shameful.

Honestly. I hate paying 12.00 or more to see ONE movie. 3.00? HECK YEAH. thats more like it! I would rather wait a few weeks to see a 4 movies for the price other local theaters charge. And I dont know why everyones complaining. I have YET to have a problem with any of the kids hanging out. I have always been very surprised at how well behaved they always are. The only time there has ever been a problem... is when a bunch of people my parents age beamed me in the head with pop corn... Im 30. They were prolly .. oooh... 50/60 years old. LOL I think the kids are better behaved! The funny thing about this theater is that its almost exactly like the discount place back in Washington I grew up going to. ;) I LOVE it! Like being home! Can I give it 6 stars???

I absolutely love this theater for 2 reasons: 1. The people. The folks they hire to run this theater are top notch and are passionate about movies. They wear name tags that also have their favorite movie printed on them and its so neat to watch their face light up when you mention that film. Helpful, always courteous and engaged, these folks are worth their weight in gold. 2. The price. I think once every 5 or 10 years Ill find a movie so irresistible that I have to see it opening day. But for the most part, Ill gladly see a movie thats a few months old for such a great price. You can take family of four to see a film here for the same price as one adult at any other theater. Unbeatable. Keep doing what youre doing! I love it.

Rarely do I go anywhere else to see a movie...seriously. Some movies take a while to get here, other not as long. Ive seen movies here that were also playing concurrently at Winnetka. I dont know about you, but Id much rather pay 3-4 bucks than 12. BTW - Movie houses only get about $.50 per person of the ticket price, the rest goes to the distribution people and beyond. When they charge concession stand prices for soda and popcorn, its to keep the doors open. They have overhead also.

We took my 3 year old son for his very first movie here at the Simi Valley 10 theater. I was a little hesitant to go based on some of the reviews. However, I am so glad we went! The staff was friendly, food was good, theater was very clean, movie screen and seats were in good shape and clean. The only negative I saw was that the womens restroom had no toilet paper and several broken toilets... but it was clean. I would definitely recommend going here and will be headed back again soon!

This movie theater is so wonderful....you get more of your money, the price is very very reasonable with comfortable sets, with clean rest-room....I seldom go to movie theater before but when I discovered EDWARDS ..I decided to go..twice a week...because..for these days that money is so tight, going to Edwards theater is very practical..I hope and pray that this Movie Theater will last longer!! Its a great help for those who wants to have fun with less money!! I love this place..

GO TODAY, dont miss out, the best $3.00 you will ever spend :). So yes like the guy said below it has older movies that are soon to come out on dvd, but some are a little newer that just came off the big screen. But hey where else can you go for $3 and see a movie on the big screen. This place should be thanked often for doing such a nice service. And on top of that the customer service there is great. THANK YOU Edwards for providing such an awesome service.

Reminds me of the many theaters Ive been to in my misspent youth in the 80s and 90s. Same decor, same feel. Its a reasonably pleasant place to see a second-run film for a great price. I take my kids there all the time. Missing a star due to the really sticky floors in the theaters and the restrooms that the decades have not been overly kind to. Not nasty or anything, just aging without grace. Ill keep going, since its ok considering the price.

I love this movie theater! Awesome ticket prices and some good movies. Yes it is not perfect but what really is. Every time you go to the same place you will find that some days are bad days but every time I have went to see a movie Ive been greeted by friendly workers and have had no bad experiences. These prices are unbeatable for California. Wish they would bring back the good old drive ins! Pay the same amount at regal but get two movies.

Very bad part of the management I dont know the name but some guy with glasses, my baby was 1 year old she is crying a lot ,i kept some songs in the tab and I sat at the very last seat and the people in the screen were less than 20 he old me not to keep any devices on I had turned it off but since baby is crying I kept the songs in mobile at a least brightness then the management guy told us to leave the theater its very rude actually
