DO NOT TRUST THE ADVERTISED SHOW TIMES! The manager will pull one film to replace it with another that is making more money. Planning a night out is pointless because your plans get thrown out the window when you discover that the movie you wanted to see got replaced. Then, you are forced to drive into Dallas to see the your film of choice. But you then have to wait another 2-3 hours in Dallas because you missed the start time you desired since you wasted it in front of the Cinemark Rockwall. Save yourself some time and frustration, plan your movie at the AMC in Firewheel or the UA or AMC in Mesquite. You may have to drive a little out of the way, but at least your night will not be ruined.

There are mostly high school students running the place, or at least it seems that way. I never see a responsible adult providing leadership. The kids are not trained to be polite or smile. They seem to hate their job and tend to make you wait at concession even if there is not a line. The large popcorn and drink do not have refills which is a rip off because the prices are pretty high. Other cinemas offer free refills if you purchase the large. The counter with the napkins and straws is always a mess and the overall feel of the place is depressing. Wake up Rockwall, there are better cinemas not too far down the road and worth a few more minutes drive.

I love love this theater. The staff are all so friendly and seem to really love their jobs. The place is clean and cozy. The concession is a little over priced but what movie theater isnt and the food is always hot and ready. No waiting for food. I like that they have someone at every register most times. My family has been going here since it opened and we go pretty much every weekend maybe even 2 or 3 times. Great variety and times and movies playing. I like that the early bird is just $6.50 too. Will keep going til they wont have me! Thanks Cinemark 12 Rockwall for making my family and I feel at home.

Dirty and unclean theatre, rude staff. The reception area was filthy. It only got worse after that. I ordered a pickle and they gave it to me in a tiny cup. I picked up a larger cup and placed the pickle in the cup. The employee demanded I give it back. I explained I had already placed the pickle in the cup so there was juice in the bottom of the cup. The employee stated they would rinse out the cup and reuse it and I could speak with the manager if I had a problem. Really? Wrong answer and no thanks, I will be following up with corporate and the Health Department of Rockwall directly.

Can somebody tell me why this movie theater doesnt have a rear entrance on the parking lot side? I guess I can understand that they wanted the building to face the water, but then again you dont really need a beautiful view from inside a theater. I realize thats a bit of an irrational complaint, but the theater itself still isnt up to par with any modern theaters. Nothing says "were not trying at all" when your decor is old black and white movie stills. However, the place still gets 3-stars because its pretty clean, there are decent showtimes, and matinee prices are still reasonable.

been going here since it opened. It needs to be redone, it is outdated, no food selections, in every theater there are a few seats broken, and it is always really hot....no matter what time of the year... we still go here because it is cheaper that other theaters, and is close, but I guess you get what you pay for.... It really needs updating though. A wider variety of foods, nicer theater areas, a Bar, and such, like others.... at least... turn the air down! But I guess you get what you pay for.....I would pay $1 more for ac below 80....

I enjoy coming to this theatre because it is so close to home, but it is no AMC, that is for sure. It seems like every time I go, my feet crunch underneath me, or I am sitting on stale kernels because of leftover food from the people before me. The staff that sweeps the theatre could definitely use some work. The icee machine is always broken, or unable to work. Its always a let down when they tell you its broken. You would think that after this many years they would just buy a new one? It is in a good location, is all I can say.

Purchased tickets for a 6 movie set, one movie per month over the next 6 months, and instead of only printing the tickets for todays movie, it printed all the tickets for the next 5 movies also. Management informed me that I now have to keep up with the paper tickets rather than being able to use the tickets via the app on my phone. Very disappointed in the ticketing process through the app. The theater was small, cramped, had uncomfortable seats and scratches visible on the screen throughout the movie.

I was behind the guy below in line. I was disgusted when they told him they would rinse the cup and reuse it. For the sake of getting a dirty cup or one that already been used and once had a pickle in it.....I decided to pass on buying anything from the snack bar. I will also be contacting corporate and definitely wont go back. Had I not already purchased my tickets I would have just left as soon as I witnessed this.

Im Caden Palomar and I was there and when a group in the back was making noises someone came in and asked me to stop but I was just sitting there leaning against my GF. Then when he left an officer came there to demonstrate a use of force by standing in the front watching us and it made me uncomfortable. I will not go there again even though I have been going there for a while and havent done anything bad there.

The theater its self offers a variety of films to watch. However its unclean. I noticed a strong odor as soon as I walked in the door. The odor was not the popcorn, it actually smelled of dirt and body odor combined. The ladies room was awful, there was no soap, no paper towels and it smelled of urine although the room looked clean. I know the theater stays busy, but isnt there someone that cleans it?

Enjoyed the movie. Seats were very uncomfortable for me. Concessions are ridiculously high. As movie tickets are all too expensive and I understand there must be increases. But, cmon, a large coke price is ridiculous. Its doesnt have to cost that amount. It is next to impossible to go frequently. Guess we will continue On Demand and pop our own popcorn and buy a 2-liter soft drink.

I recently returned to rockwall back and not once have I ever had a complaint about this great city until today.. Many times Ive gone to the movies and had refills from drinks and popcorn and denied a drink refill. After spending almost $80 that I dont mind doing so, the least they can do is A refill. Thanks to this experience, id rather spend my money somewhere else.. smh..
