I had my wedding here in December 2010 and must say that for the money I spent at this venue, I was sorely disappointed. For 240 guests, I spent about $17,500. This comes out to almost $73 per person. For that amount, I could have had my wedding at a grander place. My costs included the use of the facilities, tables, chairs, uplights, glasses, silverware, plates and what was supposed to be two entrees with three sides, 2 hors douvres, an appetizer and soup along with iced tea and water. No tablecloths, chair covers, centerpieces or wedding cake were included. Initially, I bought a package that included one entree and I paid more for an additional entree. Come the day of the wedding, they split the portion of my entrees in half. It was all served on one plate instead of them coming out separately! Not to mention, that the guests said the portions were small and the food came out cold. I didnt have a buffet style wedding. I paid extra to have a seated dinner and am very disappointed that although I paid extra for a second entree, Demers made me come across as a cheap person to my guests since they cut each of my entree portions in half. The champagne I dropped off the day before had not been chilled either. Aside from the disappointment with the food and drinks, Demers did not take down a piece of art that they said they would. I had a winter wonderland wedding and above my candy buffet, there was a huge orange and blue piece of metal artwork hanging there. Also, I bought 400 votive candles to put around as decor and they forgot to put them out which really sucked because the ambience of the wedding wasnt achieved without the candles since I had lots of rhinestones and crystals that needed the candlelight bouncing off of them. On the upside, the coordinator I worked with was great and she was Demers true asset. Too bad she has left the company...please be careful of the venue you pick because you cant re-do your wedding. They can be very reassuring and say what they know you want to hear, but be careful. You only have one shot at it. I would hate for anybody to come away from their wedding hoping that they could have had it somewhere else. Thats how I feel and I hope with this review, it will save some of you from having the same regret.

A 5 STAR EXPERIENCE AT DEMERS We walked into Demers in February of 2010 and knew it was the place where she wanted her wedding to take place. They pretty much have weddings here every weekend so they know what theyre doing - and they know what brides worry about and do a great job of reassuring them that things will turn out great. And it did - it was more beautiful than I ever imagined! Im so glad that the wedding is over and yet sad it will be a very long time; (if ever) that I will get the chance to experience such a wonderful night in a wonderful place with 200 people. Im reliving it for as long as I can! If you ever decide to check this place out - youll find that its a bit of a stretch in terms of cost... but I guarantee you - its worth every penny. And this is coming from a “stretch your dollar mama”; so I know the value of a dollar! The food is delicious (AND HOT), and theres tons of options you can add to personalize your reception and make it the wedding of your dreams. Demers, chooses the crème de la crème of vendors & staff who without a doubt gave us a 5 star experience as a whole. [Special thanks to Reggie of Signature EvenTx (our DJ), Jasmine of Funpix Photo Booth and The Pourman (our bartender) all of whom are hand selected vendors recommended by Demers and FYI they should add Debra’s Floral Design and Priceless Photos] From the moment our guests arrived at the venue they were treated to valet parking, made welcomed and had an amazing experience with this Venue. Several guests have told us that it was the best wedding they have ever been too! A fun time was had by all and everything turned out wonderfully. Marina was Demers wedding coordinator for the event, as well as the person who answered a millions questions as if each one was the first and she was extremely helpful, sweet, and flexible about little changes here and there. (Thanks Marina!!) If you truly desire a 5 star experience: · I would recommend this site for a wedding/reception to anyone. · Communicate & confirm every thing in writing. · Don’t spend $$$$ and NOT have a good time. PS. Missed you Chi.

Wow wow wow!!! What a Phenomenal team at Demers lead by Adriean!!! You dream of your wedding for years for it to go by so fast. So I knew the venue was gonna be an important part of my big day. I first ran into this location online when my sister was getting married two and half years ago. Unfortunately we couldnt book with them at the time. but I never forgot about the place. And I saw it a year ago for the first time as I started planning my wedding. It was love at first sight. Needless to say Demers was the first and last venue I looked at!!!. Adriean and Karen were handling my event. They were more than amazing, patient and accommodating. The places looked like a dream when I walked in Friday evening for last minute rehearsal, and it was magical on my wedding day. That image will never leave my mind. Thank you Adrien for bringing my dream to life. Im thinking of future events I can have there. I feel like I have family there that would make sure I was happy. Thank you. Thank you a million times!!! Sincerely, One Happy Bride!!!

Not impressed at all from what I got. Food was good, the venue coordinator Karen was friendly, but too young to be in charge of something as important as a wedding. I think everything was overpriced. Chairs that were suppose to be "new" were wobbly and unstable, cake was hideous---tasted good but ugly, and you know how important that is for pictures, etc. I never got the uplighting that was promised and was told afterwards that this was because it "didnt look good" so beware, they will make executive decisions for you and without you. No paper towels or toilet paper in the bathrooms, leaky roof, building was hot and when we asked for the temperature to be lowered we were met with a big fat no. And when the venue coordinator is under pressure, which is kind of expected at a wedding, be prepared that she will have a pretty nasty attitude. My advice: go and spend your hard earned money somewhere else.

I had my wedding there in 2016! I thought I was getting a great deal but I ended up spending more money to add to the decor. They were friendly initially but after putting down my 1st payment, communication from the staff declined. Too many rules/restrictions. They fail to explain all of these at the beginning. Was told they would work with me but in the end they did not. My deposit of $300 was kept because they claim someone wrote on one of their table covers. This info wasnt communicated to me right away. I kept trying to get in touch with their staff member for my deposit. He wouldnt return my calls until weeks later. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.
