Buying a ticket is a pain at the windows at the box office, even with deep lines, are hardly ever staffed at more than 50%. Most staff members have a take it or leave it attitude. Some are good people, the reason its getting 3 stars instead of 1. Lastly, the rewards program is going down hill, still go to the movies as much as we did but havent received a "free" ticket in months. Yes regal we noticed. Last time we are going today, no comp ticket from rewards, we dont return. Maybe if enough people do it youll get the message. By the way: on average people spend $54.00 for two attend a movies, including snacks, tickets etc., twice per month, thats $108 per month. You can buy a very nice 4k 65" inch tv with surround sound in no time if you skipped the theater. Everything ends up available at home sooner than you think and you wouldnt have to put up with Regal bathrooms and $9 popcorn.

I do think the tickets are a little overpriced, and they could definitely be cheaper, but Ive seen countless movies here, and I have yet to have a bad experience. Im a big movie buff, and this is the only theater in Fresno that I know of that picks up the smaller, independent films I enjoy watching relatively close to their theatric release dates, such as Dope, 12 Years a Slave, Moonlight, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Boyhood, Nebraska, Inside Llewyn Davis, all of which I got to see at this theater, and so many more. Im happily willing to support them for picking up smaller movies. It would be nice if they would also get more foreign films, because I would have loved to have seen films like The Handmaiden in theaters, but foreign films dont typically sell as well in the U.S, so I understand why they wouldnt.

On St. Patricks day, my wife and I decided to see Beauty and the Beast. I mistakenly bought tickets on Fandango for another theater but didnt realize it until we tried to get into Edwards. We were directed to Customer Service and while waiting in line, a gentleman came by and asked what the problem was so we explained what had happened. The gentleman was Henry, the manager. He expedited the process and not only did he get us in to see the show but he personally escorted us to the back/handicap entrance of the movie in that I needed assistance using a cane when walking. He was most helpful, courteous and professional. Found out that Henrys been the manager there since it opened, 19 years ago. Never had we experience such wonderful customer service at a movie theater. Thank you Henry!!!!

Not happy with experience on New Years Eve. The movie we went to see was canceled and we had to watch the one that had barely started so we missed the beginning. The snack bar closed early (was told it always closes 15 minutes into the last movie), the restroom was low on toilet paper, and there was absolutely no paper towels in any of the holders. The theater looked unkept and there were spilled drinks and popcorn on the square tables where patrons can sit. When I complained I was told that the staff would like to be home with their families. Well, my point, I was there at Edwards with my family and so we got tickets to attend at a different time and left. I hope this is not an indication of another business about to close. We have too much of this in Fresno these days.

My friend and I went to see "Alice through the Looking Glass" in the iMax 3D theater. About 20 minutes after the movie had started the screen started to flash red. Then after about 10 minutes of watching the flashing red screen the movie freezes. After about another 10 minutes the movie came on again still with the red flashes. Then again the screen froze again!! We decided that this was not worth our time, so we went to return our tickets. I tried to refined my ticket but the lady would not let me. After about speaking to 5 different people, we finally got our refund and left. I would not recommend seeing a movie in the iMax because of the technical issues. Very disappointed that the people who worked there would not be considerate of this issue.

Opening weekend of Beauty and the Beast and the 3D version of the movie is playing on one of their smallest screens. I feel as though we paid an extra $4 per person to view a brand new release on an inferior screen with an inferior sound system. To top it all off, the screen has several irregularities that were incredibly distracting. Im not much of a fan of 3D. However, if I pay the extra $4 it had better be a distinguishable difference to the standard experience. Very disappointed. Ive consistently had issues with Edwards. Much improvement is needed, and I suspect it boils down to poor management. Get your act together!

The main theaters are always decent but we saw Wonder Woman in IMAX 3D and were very disappointed. The movie was good but the theater is dated. Seats were very small and absolutely no leg room or room on arm rests. Screen size was average compared to new theaters. Sierra Vista 16 has electric leather seats that fully recline with ample room on armrests, screens that are just as big or bigger, and you dont have to pay 20$ a ticket. It was our first time at IMAX and we wont be going back. Might have been good when it was built but has been surpassed by both Mayan and Sierra Vista.

Went to watch the avengers age of ultron movie in 3D imax today... Unfortunately they were having technical difficulties with the cc glasses and therefore one of my siblings was unable to fully enjoy the movie... Fortunately the theater employs awesome employees. brittney (working at the concession stand at the time) took it upon herself to apologize for the incident and gave us an opportunity to enjoy another featured film with cc availability... Thank you brittney and thank you Edward cinema. By far the best theater in Fresno.

My Sweetie and I were in town for the State track meet, we had time too kill on Saturday so, we went to the Edwards Fresno. We saw Loweriders which was very good! Needless to say the movie theatre wasnt bad. Were movie goers and weve seen some good and some bad. This was not a bad experience although, I did visit the ladies room and it was not clean, note to mgmt please have the bathrooms cleaned regularly this is why I gave 3 stars and not 5. They were gross!!

Bought popcorn and two coffees at the snack bar. Ask for a carrier to take my snacks and drink back to my seat. was told they dont have carriers anymore. So how do i carry this back to my seat? Was given a plastic lid to a nochos tray as a carrier. Made it to my seat then the plastic lid collapsed. Two hot coffees hit the floor and made a big mess. All because they wouldnt supply a snack carrier. This theater is going down hill!

My go-to theater in Fresno. Its nice inside, has plenty of theaters, and always plays the most recent movies. Its located in the River Park Shopping Center, which makes things easy if you want to shop or eat before or after a movie. The popcorn is good. Its a bit more expensive than other theaters in the area, but I feel like its worth it. The only problem is with the crowds during popular movie releases.
