Double dippers and false promises I would seriously consider looking elsewhere before considering this place. Yes, the venue is beautiful. But that is it. We were told early on when first booking that our linen were included & after triple checking with there coordinators which told us the same thing overtime they came in. That we would not get charged extra, unless we want a special color. That later changed days before our final total was due. We were also told early on that we could bring in our own bartender & that they would have to hire them on under them & pay them minimum wage. Otherwise we could choose to pay theres which is 20$ and hour. (which we were very understanding when they later told us that we could not bring in our own bartender) We asked for our final balance and our balance was $300 about a week before our wedding that was not including the 10% that we were waiting for our caterer to send in their final invoice. Upon receiving that they later added on an 18% gratuity on our drinks & many other outrageous charges that equaled to an extra 1,500 on top drink totals that they failed to mention anything about at our meeting when going over drinks and asking to pay balances. After talking it over with our personal coordinator she also mentioned she felt they were double dipping. That it would be best to leave off the drinks & to put on a tab for our guest when we arrive. Before leaving we stayed & cleaned up with several friends & the coordinator who works there. we double checked with our coordinator to make sure everything was good and she told us everything was good. Double checking because we were concerned they were gong to find something to keep our deposit. 2 weeks later they kept half our deposit for linen damaged. Which is strange because we ended up buying ALL of our linen except for the one at the buffet table. We were warned many times about this place after talking to many other brides who looked here but decided elsewhere. Shouldve also been a huge red flag when they cant keep coordinator. Update: Sketchy buisness practice. Our deposit was kept due to linen damage & pl. The problem with this was we bought ALL of our own linen and upon questioning we were told we did not have damage & that they decided to keep half our deposit since we had an outside caterer & that they charged us for use of plates. funny I figured that wouldve came out of the 10% outside catering fee. hmmm..very questionable. We were told by the manager and also questioned their coordinators many times (they went thru many coordinators that they couldnt keep) and were told all the linen and plates were included and we would not be charged. After relooking thru there contract nowhere in there mentions that we would have any of these additional charges. They also attempted to add on sereval charges that equaled 1,500 for our beverages 3 days before our wedding After being given our final balance. We dropped the beverages do to this reason and went with a tab the day of. Be Very Cautious of this place. Its beautiful but that is it! There were many other problems we didnt mention, Sadly after talking to many other brides who had nothing to to say about this place & when they kept changing their word. This shouldve been a HUGE red flag. but for being such a new place we wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. Beware before booking with them

Do NOT reccomend! Yes, it is a beautiful place... BUT, from the time we put our deposit down to the wedding day it was terrible, they went through multiple wedding planners, and close to the wedding they tried to charge us an extra $500 for security deposit which was never on our account, which maybe should have been but they didnt try adding it until a month before the wedding. They did remove it after I said something about it. I was told we could use the 3 seasons room if no one booked it, which they didnt, but a week from the wedding they wanted to charge me $1,000.00 to use it. Also, day of rehearsal the woman couldnt get the microphones to work said there was interference but she would make sure it would be fixed. We paid $45 to use a microphone for our wedding day, which of course didnt work for our wedding. I wrote an email to the manager about it and he didnt write back. They dont care about you at all only making more money off of you. Terrible!!! I will never recommend and tell people about the experience we had!

The venue itself is aesthetically pleasing. Great scenery and perfect for photos. The service is a completely different story. We went through three different wedding coordinators (the first two quit or were fired) and had nothing but problems the entire time. Most of our emails and calls would not be responded to after several follow up attempts. The information presented was often outdated or no longer valid and pricing changed regularly. The owner was rude and dismissive. I would not recommend to anyone looking for quality and consistent customer service throughout your wedding planning process. Our last coordinator Sarah was far better than the previous two and genuinely seemed to care about the product and services being delivered. Perhaps they are headed in the right direction but definitely have a long way to go.

While this venue has the advantage of the river, the business leaves much to be desired. The event coordinators (current & past...yes, Ive had both my own party and attended other parties there, too) are uneducated and rude (they also delete bad reviews from their FB page and have since done away with reviews all together...go figure). Celebrations needs both new management and better educated, qualified staff. Hopefully Celebrations investors read these reviews and take action.
