Im really disappointed with my first experience at Century RiverPark 16 and it left a bad first impression. So the Movie I watched was Evil Dead which is rated R and I bought the tickets online at the Fandango website. So I print out the tickets and I get to the entrance of Auditorium 5 where the man is checking I.Ds. He asks for my I.D and my Girlfriends I.d. I show him mine but my girlfriend forget hers at home. I tell him Im 21 and it shouldnt be a problem letting us in. He denies us and sends us to the ticket booth. There, I speak with a manager and she denies us once a again that its policy. So I asked for a refund. She gave it. We left and went home(which isnt close by), and got the I.D and went back to try and catch the 2nd screening of the movie. We get there and when we get to the entrance of the Auditorium the same man from the previous auditorium isnt checking I.Ds!!!! A bunch of little kids got to see the movie with their parents and we couldnt get in when I had an I.D. to begin with the first time. This truly enraged me. This the last time Im going to this theater. You never get a second chance at a first impression. Also you might want to tell your employees to clean spillage on the floor or at least put a caution sign.

Love going here because of the reserved seating. For $14 tickets, you get reserved seating (the seat are comfy as hell and slightly recline), no hassle of dealing with lines or worrying all the good seats will be gone. I usually go with friends to see new release in their XD show room. The picture is sharp, the sound is booming. I feel like a $14 ticket are a great value for what you get compared to other theaters where its $9, God knows where youll sit and the projection and sound are a total crap shoot. Food prices are averagely expensive (comparable with other places). They have a pretty good selection of food / drinks. Pop-corn, sodas, candy, etc. Also, most of it is self serve (pop-corn is not) and then you pay at the end. Looks and cleanliness have always been great during my visits. PS.: (Free) parking garage is right behind the theater so its a quick walk to and from if you are coming to see a movie.

Meh. People claim the service is great, but the staff at this place has an incredibly difficult time keeping concessions and condiments stocked. "Well, theres a lot of people ordering food and the staff cant keep up..." They cant keep up ensuring ketchup is filled and popcorn is popped, but are deserving of $15 per hour? There was a time when employees at movie theaters wore suits and had emasculate hygiene. Theyd wait on you like you were royalty and wouldnt dream of allowing an excuse to get in the way of you and having ketchup on your hotdog. Today, these people are grotesquely overweight and sigh at the thought of overexerting themselves to wipe off a counter or pick up a straw wrapper. This place needs some motivated people to whip the "minimum doers" into shape. Lazy, slothful, and entitled.

The theater has an odd layout that places all of the concessions outside of the ticket area. The seats themselves are made of an uncomfortable pleather material. Their restrooms are behind the ticket collection area which wouldnt be an issue if they didnt stick everyone in the lobby until they started seating. We came on a holiday where they charged weekend rates during the middle of the afternoon and yet didnt have the staff to clean the theater up until 15 mintues before the showtime. Of course there isnt enough seating in the lobby area either to accommodate the number of people they have waiting in the lobby. Customer service was bad and I already tend to lower my standards when going to a movie theater. To add insult to injury the movie didnt start on time either.

Best movie theater in the Oxnard/Ventura area, with huge screens and comfortable seats. Establishment is very nice and modern, so everything is up to date. They have an amazing deal on Tuesdays when every movie is $6.00, regardless of the movie time, and also have a discount on the very first showing of each movie all other days of the week. If you sign up for their weekly newsletter, youll also receive offers and coupons to use there. Highly recommended!

Century RiverPark 16 is a great theater with cool amenities. I would have to assume the theater is fairly new, theyve also kept it in great shape as well. The seats all feel really new, almost like a new car feel or technically, a new theater feel. Theres different types of tickets here, for some showings they have reserved seating and thats always a plus. Whenever Im in town this is my theater of choice to catch a new movie.

I have been to this new theater many times. It is the go too theater that I always choose to go to when I go watch movies with my friends. First of all I enjoy the location, which I would say is superb. The Collection offers great places to eat and I am sure soon will have many places to shop. The theater itself is clean and great for weekend movie night. I would recommend it over many of the other theaters in the area.

Love Tuesday half off days. Super comfortable seating. I really like that they do assigned seating so you dont have to wait in line for hours when a new movie comes out. Concession stand has great variety including Starbucks and Dryers ice cream (of course overpriced like all theater food) they do have a popcorn tub and cup you can purchase at the beginning of the year for discounted refills.

This place used to be on the other side of the bridge called Century 16 till they moved into their new location here a couple of years ago. The XD is a little pricier but well worth it. All the in this theater seats are always clean and super comfortable in my experience. Overall a very nice modern movie theater with shopping / restaurants nearby. Great place for tourist or a date.

This is the only theater my Mom and I attend. Live almost everything about it except for the LOUD mega decibel hand dryers in the reatrooms. If more than one are going at at time its very loud! EVERYTHING ELSE ROCKS! The seats are super comfortable and the stadium seating allows you to see without a head on your view! Another plus...ice tea is available.

Stupidest theater in Ventura county by far. What other theater chargers for a one year old!? Its ridiculous! No other theater in Ventura county charges for a one year old every where else they start charging at age three including theme parks, museums, aquariums, etc,. The manager was a joke and I will not ever be returning to that idiotic theater!

Clean and well maintained. Excellent snack selection well priced. Staff is friendly and well trained. They show Fathom Events. There was a problem with the speakers in Auditorium 9 , asked the ticket taker, she got the manager, got an apology & a speaker adjustment & a refund. Great service.

A great theater in a great location. You wont find an IMAX screen in here but you will find D-Box as well as HD and 3D screens. The best time to come here is on Tuesdays when all tickets are $6 each. Unlike the theater by the outlets you do have to pay for children over 1 to 3 years old here.
