Its a good theater but management should step up and train their concession staff better. Sometimes they are rude and have no idea what they are doing. I asked one of them to put the butter all they way through the bag of pop corn not just on the top. He had no idea what I was talking about. One of them, an overweight girl two weeks ago treated me so rudely I had to complain about her. The person I complained to just stared at me blankly. Nobody apologized. Just nothing. I was paying for my popcorn and realized I had just lost my debit card, which I had just used to pay for my ticket. I told the girl I needed to walk over to the ticket counter and see if I left my debit card there. She told me firmly that I was not going to take my bad of popcorn until I paid for it. I explained the situation and she said she didnt care. I guess she had to guard this bag of popcorn from a possible popcorn thief. I told her her customer services skills were bad and she just stared at me with a blank stare. Terrible customer service experience.

Since moving to Gilbert, weve tried out a few theaters in the area. We hated this one. The movie was ruined, complete waste of time and money, due to obnoxious teenagers. They texted, talked and laughed loudly, mocked the movie, and made fart noises (the movie was a serious one, not a comedy). I complained to the manager a few times, but eventually gave up. The manager told me that the kids would be asked to leave, but they never were. A staff member would come in, and of course the kids would get very quiet. As soon as the staff member would leave, the kids would get louder and go back to making noises. The theater wasnt packed, but the small clientele that was there were a bunch of rude, obnoxious kids.

This theatre does not show films about or starring African Americans. I only write this because my fiancee and I were looking to see Southside with you, the story of the POTUS and First Lady Michelle Obamas first date. I googled to see the show times near me and didnt see this one. My fiancee reminded me that this theatre didnt show Straight Outta Compton, Selma, 12 years a slave or anything like that...but my family can see sausage party if wed like.. Lived here for years but never noticed. Disappointed..

I agree with previous reviews that the establishment is very nice, with a somewhat lackluster performance from staff. The East Mesa Harkins staff seem overall happier to be at work. The kids serving concessions seemed a bit peeved that they had to work and almost despised my order. However the theaters are large and clean and the floor wasnt sticky (at least while we were there). The prices are expectedly outrageous, but the atmosphere is exceptionally nice.

Have come here MUTLIPLE TIMES. I have NEVER had a good experience here. I refuse to come back and will never recommend this theater to ANYONE, including my enemies. Its rather funny because while everyone else has complaints about the concession workers, I have only ever had issues with management directly. 10/10 would not recommend. If I could give zero stars I would. Thanks for the waste of time and money.

I am a frequent movie goer and I like Harkins ALOT, I always notice 80% of the time the urinals in the Mens Restrooms under the Urinal is a puddle of urine. There is no excuse for this, especially when Harkins prices are what we pay. Its disgusting and management has gotten lazy standing around in huddles with their buddies yapping about nothing while customers need clean restrooms.

Parking is great, much better than the Chandler Mall. Always very clean and not too crowded. Very quick to get in and to get snacks. The only downfall is that they dont have 3D movies at this location. We go to the San Tan Village or Chandler Fashion Center if we want to see 3D. Still Crossroads is the best in the area for my money. And did I mention they have great parking?

This is my favorite Harkins Theatre in the Southeast Valley! It never feels over crowded or dirty! Early morning showings are the best because there never seems to be an issue finding our favorite seats at that time. Minus one star for not having the reclining seats like AMC has. But other than that, its a great theater

Love harkins!! Its the only theater we go to because of the drink cups and the t-shirt for a free popcorn. There a many locations, but this one is the closest. They also gear up for busy times so lines are always fast, and they seem to always have plenty of show times for the popular movies.

This theater was good but unfortunately it became absolete, other theaters are a competition so should Harkins. I wish you guys would have reserve seating/stadium recliner chairs. Very inviting not only to me and my family as well as to others who already enjoy coming. Disappointing....

Great theater. Always clean and the staff is always friendly. I see at least 25 movies a year there and have never had a problem. Only negative i can think of is the french fries. They are air heated or something similar and are not very tasty. Wish they had a real fryer.

Harkins is clean and stadium seating. If you drop popcorn they sweep it up right after you. Plus if you buy a Harkins popcorn shirt and loyalty cup the concessions are cheap for the whole year. The summer movies for kids are great too.

This location is in a mall so expect the kids texting and loudness other than that its clean fast likes friendly, seats are big with drink holders and adjustable arm rest! Just what you need to enjoy the shows!

I really enjoy this theater! The employees are so friendly and helpful and they are so glad to see me. The theater is neat and clean. The seats are so comfy! I do wish the snacks were a little cheaper!

This location seems to have the worst show times. The employees always seem as if they enjoy their job and have always been helpful and friendly. One of the cleaner theatres I frequent.

Clean theater. Saw baby driver. Theater was pretty full. Seating is good enough to see from all angles. Friendly counter staff even with the up sales. Overall a good experience.

I love harkens. This location really needs to re-pave the parking lot. Its almost just gravel... Other than that, this is my favorite location. Small crowds, cheep prices.

great theater with lots of movie options. Hot dog is over priced so eat before hand. Comfortable chairs, not AMC centerpoint but a much larger variety of movies.

My wife is unable to stand for long periods of time so the theatre manager allowed her to sit on a bench near the entrance while waiting for the movie.

We love this theatre! It is rarely crowded. The theatre is always very clean and the staff are friendly and work hard to keep any lines moving quickly.

I was here to see the movie minions at the summer kids and I just pay 6 dlls for me and my two kids awesome time with friends and really good popcorn.
