To any who take the time to read this review, if you are thinking of going to a movie at Harkins Sedona 6, make sure you ask the folks behind the glass before you pay to go to the movie you want to see, if the movie is in theatres 1 or 2. This information is very important to you all and is no where else to be found anywhere?? I am advising this because the other 4 theatres are small, small, small and smaller with mostly old used up seats in all 4 of them AT AN ANGLE to screens which are no bigger than what is now available in several big screen tvs being offered for in home media rooms.. ok, maybe not but pretty darn close! I stress here that a bigger person will not sit in these other 4 theatres for very long, if at all, as when entering theatres 3-4-5 and 6 you will think someone is playing a huge joke on you if you are not a local, and if you are a local and you chose to go anyway, as a "bigger person" I just dont understand? Now for the smaller of persons, these theatres with the small screens, angled seats, horrible sound and a big head in front of you, I ask,"why would you pay expensive movie prices for the movie experience you will have in these theatres when you are better off waiting for your movie choice to come to your local "red box" or PAY FOR VIEW or drive to Flag?" Cost is less and you can make your own popcorn!!!! I have been a movie goer for my entire life everywhere I have lived and visited and these 4 theatres are an affront to my lifelong movie going experience! P.S. To Harkins family! Please stop punishing Sedona locals and travelers that have no idea what horrendous movie experience these 4 theatres offer for the same price as the bigger theatres 1 and 2! Why cant you take these 4 awful theatres and make 2 decent ones?????? mark sheythe, a friend of Janes.

That place is a JOKE! I have seen BIGGER SCREENS & MORE SEATS at peoples personal HOMES.. The sound was like my home stereo... No Bass and Bad quality.. Yeah,, its been the same way for 10 years.. & I dont understand how there still in bussiness.. Make sure to show up 1 HR EARLY if you are with a party of 3 or more & plan to sit next to each other... 10 min b4 the movie starts there is NOT 4 SEATS EMPTY NEXT TO EACH OTHER! As for those who "think" this is ok and the "norm" for Sedona.. Your RIGHT! The town is a joke and filled with Stuck up ppl who think there chit dont stink. The place is all about money,, NOT A GOOD MOVIE EXPERIENCE! It disgusts me personally to see people sticking up for this CO.. Either their Old and dont care.. Or never been to a REAL MOVIE THEATER... READ all the reviews.. Then think twice about going... Might wanna make the drive to Flagstaff instead.. longer drive.. BUT MUCH BETTER MOVIE EXPERIENCE!!

Went to see the new Jurassic Park movie, theater felt over sold and was not able to sit with my family even though we arrived 10 minutes early. We had already purchased our tickets so we did not have to waste time in line and went straight into the auditorium. Only seat I could find was up front after the movie started I discovered the couple behind me had brought their young child 2-3 years old. I was surprised they were allowed to bring such a young child to see such a gory movie, more so that the parents did not get a babysitter so the child would not get traumatized. For more then half the movie the whole row had to put up with whining, crying and chair bumping. We asked the parents to keep it down and they ignored our request. Theater was told and they grudgingly gave a replacement ticket for the movie, the apology did not feel sincere at all. To top it off the popcorn was burnt too.

First time I have been to this theatre. Everyone was pleasant and people were great! Fiance and I needed a good date night and this place hit the spot. The seats were comfortable and plenty of room for us taller people. Price were about average for snacks and drinks. Tickets were a good price ranging from 6 to 7.50 a person. They made sure the seating area and floors were in clean condition which is always appreciated. Overall I recommend Harkins theatre is sedona, its just a great choice and we will return for sure.

I love the size of the theaters......to all you spoiled people who have posted SUCH NEGATIVE comments......its a movie, folks, its just a movie........you sound MUCH snottier than most of the people in Sedona......and guess what......people dont come to Sedona to sit in the dark and watch unreality. Why dont you all go take a hike..........in Flagstaff.......and stay the hell out of Sedona. Clearly, you cant appreciate small town experience

This place sucks. Its annoying to drive all the way to Flagstaff Harkins but its worth it. The Sedona theater never shows any of the good movies. I had to make the hour drive to Flagstaff just to see Kubo. The staff in Sedona is really rude too. They need to clean up their act and show the same movies as every other theater... they might actually make money then instead of giving people a crap experience.

I have never seen so many damn complaints by so many b#$@hy people!! You all disgust me with your poor attitudes. Honestly, what do you expect in a small humble town?? If every place here catered to your over luxurious and spoiled lifestyles then it would no longer be quaint and peaceful!! This theatre has been exactly as expected for the last 10 years and still a great option to view a big screen movie.

The seats are one even row, no stadium seating here! If someone sits infront of you you are stuck looking at the back of their head and rocking side to side to try and see around them. The seats have a gummy feel and probably have not been cleaned ever, and the high priced candy $3.40 for for Reeses Pieces leaves everything to be desired in this old relic of a theater!!

I admit I am a spoiled brat from LA. And so by comparison these theaters are in high need of an update. Would love to see more healthy snacks offers. Get with the times. Harkins. Service is friendly and makes up for seats that lack comfort. Would like to see more arthouse films playing. All in all a great value I frequently enjoy as a new resident of Sedona.

This was the first time Ive visited a movie theater outside of my home area, and I must say Harkins was great. Excellent hospitality. I accidentally left my sweatshirt behind, and they kept it safe until the next day. Reasonably priced concessions that were yummy. Excellent comfy chairs. And nice cheap matinee shows. Great experience overall!.

Kinda small. Much smaller screen than expected. It was noisy too in the theatre. And their was nothing on screen for previews for awhile until a few minutes before the movie started. If they did more previews maybe it wouldnt of been as loud as it was? But it wasnt bad either. However, I do prefer either of the Prescott theatres over this one.
