Drove down from Great Falls to check out War of the Planet of the Apes on the XD screen here. Fantastic theater! Very clean and well kept. All the staff was courteous and interactive. Concessions cost what you would expect at the movies these days, and the popcorn was ok - drinks were decently priced. Paid less overall than I do on average at our local AMC. The XD screen was impressive. Roughly the size of a Digital IMAX, still smaller than a true full sized IMAX. Either way, its the biggest screen Ive seen in the state so far. Theater was equipped with a sound setup that included speakers built into the ceiling. Similar to Dolby Atmos Id imagine. There was a discrepancy with the sound where the speakers behind the left side of the screen were putting out more sound than those on the right. We sat center so it was easy to tell, but it only happened at certain points where the film was the loudest. The rest of the time it was not noticeable. It was very distracting during the Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer in particular. However, did not affect the presentation of the feature film too much. Picture was clear and bright. The projection nearly covered the entire screen top to bottom for the movie, leaving only a few feet of space letterboxed. The Cinemark advertisements in the pre show were framed to fit the full screen. It looked good. One small complaint about then XD screen - light from the sun outside bleeding through the glass door entrance to the screen. No turn or additional door to prevent it. Probably would only affect noon shows like the one we were at, but still very prominent on the screen for the first hour or so. Nice to see the select-your-seat feature available for the XD screen. No extra charge. Overall this is a theater Id return to in a heartbeat for the XD experince. Would strongly recommend it to anyone hoping to catch a movie in town. Id like to return for a big showing where theres more than just 8 people in the theater, as the energy of first show crowds is impossible to beat. Excellent job to the management and staff for keeping the theater up though, hope to return soon!

They are so friendly & seem as they enjoy what they are doing!! Going to the Movies & seeing something on a BIG SCREEN definitely has its good & bad- rude people kicking your back of the seat still texting complaining about the prices of movie & popcorn etc ... Just cant please everyone!!! And sometimes no one seems grateful anymore But Yet they continue to support yayyyyy!!!! Someone mentioned paying for parking & just an FYI to those who still dont know that the Movie Theatre will stamp your tix then you show the stamped tix to parking folks & U DO NOT have to pay for parking during your show time!!!

The XD room is always presented well. The volume does get a bit much, but perhaps that is because I enjoy a good action pack film. Having the ability to buy tickets ahead of time is a great feature that I tend to use, a lot. As for the concession prices, they seem fair as far as movie theater priced concession products go. I do encourage people if there is a film they are itching to watch with family, friends, or others and it is shown, treat yourself to a nice flick.

Cinemark is a very well-managed theater: The staff are nice, the theaters themselves are well-kept and comfortable, and the sound/movie quality is excellent. The only complaints I have are ticket/concession prices, which are not always the fault of the theater, and the fact that the XD theater, while state-of-the-art, can be extremely loud, particularly during the "XD Intro" that plays before the movie. Other than that, the beast cinema in town.

Not a bad theater by any means, but extremely jacked up prices, its ridiculous. I had to pay 12.75 to see a movie just because it was only in XD which is barely different than normal. And normally tickets are 10.75 which is ridiculous as well. To add to it, the staff wasnt exactly that friendly. You could tell they were just doing the bare minimum. If youre going to go here, go on a Tuesday when tickets are $5 so you dont waste your money.

So I went to the theatre today to see a movie of course and there were issues getting a fandango gift card to work (further detail: when using a fandango gift card you have to use it on the fandango website to buy the tickets and as a first time user I wasnt aware of that and then it wouldnt purchase for my movie time) and the staff handled it wonderfully. Also the place was clean and the seats were comfy!

Cinimark is always improving their theatres. This time I went you can choose your own seat in the XD Theater. Great place to watch movies. Its moot though since this is the only place you can watch feature films in Helena without driving over an hour to another. Prices are high but you dont need to purchase concessions. I recommend this place if you have never been to a theater.

Quit griping about the high prices for concession items. ALL theaters charge way too much, which is because concession sales make up by far the most of their revenue. Just use some common sense and eat elsewhere. Besides, there are those of us who dont care to listen to someone loudly munch their popcorn and annoyingly rattle those candy wrappers.

Overpriced movies, but this has been going on for years. Its funny to think that considering how far in advance movies are advertised (a year in most cases), people still trip over each other to get in n give these theaters their money. Personally, I can wait the extra couple of months till it can be downloaded.

Great theater experience. Giant screens, nice and helpful staff, clean and shows films not shown in Great Falls (where I live). For the large, tent pole movies during the year... its worth it to see those films at this theater. Highly recommended.

I thought this theater was on point for a small town venue, plenty of parking, bathrooms were clean, not very expensive, friendly and speedy staff, a great place to have a family outing. It was everything they claimed to be and more in my opinion

I really do not understand why Helena has such a nice theatre, but you wont catch me complaining about it. Ticket prices here are cheaper than they are in Bozeman (and the chairs arent gross). Parking is free in the garage with a ticket stub.

Seriously the best theatre in Montana. The seats are amazing and the video quality is excellent. He staff moves customers through the ticket and concession lines quickly. I would drive out of my way just to watch a movie at this Cinemark

One of the great theaters. This place is great! Ive been coming here for years and just decided to buy the seasons subscription. Best theatre in town on every level. Imaginable. Excellent venues, very attractive redesign.

Great theater with stadium seating with reclining chairs, clean and comfortable, huge parking garage which is free for theater customers, great concession choices (expensive but thats part of every theater experience).

Great theater. Typical prices on concessions, overprice from the general movie goers perspective but this is how they make their money. It is nice to have a family friendly and enjoyable place to go for entertainment.
